Easter Fun Fold Treat Box/Tag Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Todays fun fold gift box/tag card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their gorgeous ribbons, ric rac and then heart embellishment. Love making this sweet little fun fold gift box/tag card, they are super addicting as you get 2 out of 1 12 x 12 card stock.

So for the front of my box I used some Ric Rac along the pocket that holds the tag, or gift card, then used the Delicate Stitched Ribbon and created a bow for the pocket. The Satin Swiss Dots in yellow I used for the tag. I did punch out the scalloped circle and the circle, and then added some eggs that I cut with a die. The carrots I found at Walmart and thought they were so stinking cute and had to buy them for the grandkids. I was thinking I would use them somehow in some treat bag/box, and then thought of this. they work perfect! Now I wish I would have bought more bags, as I didn't see them there this past week. My little Bunny Bear is an svg file that I pieced together and did up the eyes and all. Now I want to make somemore of these, so I'm off again to craft.

xoxo'x Valentine treat bag

Hello crafty friends and happy Tuesday to you all! Today's Valentines confectionery treat bag was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous ribbons and embellishments.

To start I used a die to cut out my confectionery bag, and then used some design paper to run across the center. Next I punched out a heart border and glued it down using scor-tape, and then added some of the beautiful Satin Swiss dot ribbon over the border. Next I added some heart shaped filigree die pieces, and my darling Valentine Fox from Kadoodle Bug Designs. To finish off the front I added the pretty pink ribbon bow with a flower embellishment in the center, a heart embellishment to the top left corner, and then a wood heart with the xoxo heart. These are super fun to create and perfect little gifts to give.

Paris theme Shaker Memorydex

Hello crafty friends and happy Friday to you all! Today's Memorydex card set was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous satins that are in the shop. I also used the beautiful flowers as well. Love making these and sure hope you enjoy my post for today.

I started out with cutting my card stock, I do use a heavy card stock from Papertemptress as it holds up strong. I then picked this darling design paper from Carte Bella, and layered it on the black. Next I punched out my borders and layered them. The dies are all from different companies, but I used the darling poodle, lamp post, shaker heart, swirl, rosette, and circles. I then layered them all, and added my black satin with dots ribbon, and the pretty pearl pink satin with silver metallic edge ribbon. The flowers are Open roses in pinks, and sweetheart blossoms, and rose buds. I will link below for easy finding.

Blooming with my Gnomies Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super fun card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous Ribbons & flowers. For some reason Ive been so addicted lately to making these darling gnome cards and Memorydex cards, this one happens to be a stamp, and I love him with all the flowers.

so for my card base I started with a 6" x 6" base  and then added on my layers. I love adding lots of layers, and did so here. Next I stamped up this darling gnome and colored him with copics, and then added stickles to his wings, love how he turned out. for his beard I did add some silver pencil to make the hairs, thought it would be fun. Oooo and I had used him again for the inside to hold the sign, thought that would be so cute. After I did my layers I cut out a branch for the greenery and then added several RRR flowers, I will list them all below. The ribbons I chose are the Yellow

Strawberry Sweet Card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super sweet card I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous ribbons and embellishments they carry in shop. This card has tons of layers.  As you all know I love layering, and I also love bears.
On my card I started with a white 6" x 6" base, then added four design paper layers, all have sewing and white gel dots. Next I added three more layers using die cuts for the doily, shaped die, and circle. I stamped a sentiment that is one of my favorites. Next the darling sweet bear is a SVG file, as I just got a new Cricut Air machine, and I'm loving it! I cut her out in brown card stock, red and tan, and distressed each piece. The eye lashes I drew on, and then added lots of white dots, and black gems. Next the strawberries were cut using a die cut from CC dies, and they were colored using Copics. Lastly I added my double bows and flower embellishments to the top, and then added the inside layer. I've been trying lately to get all the insides of my cards complete, as that way I don't have to do it later.

All Hallow's Eve Mini Album Page

Hello everyone.  Today I have another page for the mini album I've been working on. This one is the All Hallow's Eve page designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon, and will be for Halloween photos. On this page I wanted to use the beautiful ribbons from the September Ribbon Club Assortment as they are all so pretty!

So for this page I used black card stock for the base, and made it so it's open on both sides for easy attachment to the album. Next I created the flaps and pockets using Graphic45 design papers. I kept the decorations  pretty simple for this page. I did add beautiful ribbons from the Septembers Ribbon Club, some covered buttons, bats, and a candy. I love making these pages to be interactive and have lots of room for photos and journaling. Hope you enjoy my post, as I've also included a little video showing how the page opens.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies used:

Tape refill scotch
Delicate Stitched Satin tangerine

Rolodex Decorated Pages with Photos

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all you all! Today I'm sharing a super fun project that I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using beautiful ribbons, flowers, and embellishments to decorate this Rolodex.

I bought this Rolodex to add photos and information in, so these two pages have a photo and a little Journaling. They are so fun to decorate and add design paper.  I figured I would do different colors and such to each double page. On this one I used one of my favorite design papers from Heidi Swapp.  They were scrap pieces I had left over.  I added the black delicate stitched satin ribbon, and then the yellow canvas color band ribbon, and aster daisy, sweetheart blossom, and rose buds for decorations on this. I also added the bronze and green leaves to this.

The bottom page has a border die cut I used from Makers Movement and I ran the ribbon through the openings on it. Love the look. I kept the top simple, as I wanted to see the design of the flowers on the paper.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:
Pink Rose buds
Aster Daisy
Sweetheart Blossoms
Green Leaves
Bronze Leaves
Black Satin Delicate Stitched Ribbon
Swiss Dots Black
Tape Runner
Yellow Canvas Color Band Ribbon
Thank you so much for stopping by, and for all your wonderful sweet comments on my projects!

Floral Pocket with Tag

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all!
Today I have a sweet little pocket and tag decorated with Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful ribbons, flowers, and bronze embellishments. I really enjoyed making this darling little pocket that will be added to one of my mini albums at a later date.

On my pocket I started with the Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon Black.  I made a big bow, then added the Canvas Colored Band with Stitched Edge Pink as another bow on top. Next I chose to make a ruched up floral piece to add on top of that using the checkered ribbon with the stitched edge in geen/ivory/pink. It's really easy to do, all you do is pull the plastic string part from inside the ribbon at the top and it makes it ruche up so pretty.  You can make flowers or whatever you like to add to your flower clusters. I even made one for the tag.

For the floral cluster I chose to use the pink carnation, and a few different rose buds in pinks and white. Then I used the mini sweetheart blossoms in pink, and also the aster daisy in a light pink. For the window doors I used the beautiful bronze embellishments.

I love the design papers I used for this.  They came from a paper stack called Heidi Swapp. I made the tag so it would fit inside the pocket.  It's nice to have these done and ready for mini albums, as you can add them at a later date.

Halloween Candy Cuties with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I have these darling "Going Batty" Candy Cuties I made and decorated using ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I love how they turned out, and will be making more of these darling candy holders. Ok, so I have a funny story to tell about a BAT.  One night a couple of weeks ago, my hubby heard a noise outside, it was loud.  He heard it in our back garage, and he couldn't figure out what it was. We had a problem with a wasp nest that we were dealing with, but he knew at this time at night those were sleeping and whatever was hopping around in the eves of his garage, he had no idea what it was until he went in the garage and started spraying the wasp spray.  Then it came and sat on the wood up high tucked back up by the roof and he thought it was staring at him  Well we know they don't see, so he sprayed it,and left the garage,  LOL hahahahaha.  Omgosh, when he told me this story, I thought OMGOSH I'm so glad you did not wake me up....LOL.  I would have never went back to sleep over that one.....hahaha at first he thought it was a mouse, but it wasn't.  He clearly saw it, and it was a brown bat.  We haven't heard anything out there as of lately, and we did get rid of the wasp, so hopefully it left, and is gone now.

To start with I had to buy the file for these.  They are a embroidery in the hoop file, and then I went ahead and decorated them using Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful polka dot satin ribbon, along with the rose buds white, and then black stamens, and little green leaves. Now the rose buds I did distress and spritz a little bit so they would be a blackish color for the bats. I love how the orange satin ribbon pops and makes these darling bats look so much sweeter.  They are cute to begin with, but even cuter using RRR beautiful satin! Love them!

There are two different sizes and they are to hold candy inside them. I of course forgot to buy candy to put in them, so I went into my jar and grabbed some candy hubby brought home for me...hehehee they worked just fine.

Let it Snow Winter Card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a sweet little snowman card I made using the beautiful ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and also some of the darling embellishments and rose buds on my card for today.

Of course Christmas is my favorite time of year, however it takes me a while to get into the crafting mode on this, so I do like to try to start early, as by October I will have huge messes in the craft room with all Christmas goodies and paper stacks and stuff all over, and anyway I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this...hehehehe.  So for my card I did use this darling paper.  It has sweet snowman on it, and I thought it would go perfectly with this sweet stamp set from JustRite Papercrafts. I love how Really Reasonable Ribbon matches perfectly with all sorts of designs, and both the Shimmer Satin Red and Satin Swiss Dots Pearl Pink go with this collection to make my double bows.

All layers were done using the ATG refill tape, and then I added sewing using my sewing machine. Next I also used the Foam Tabs to pop and give a 3-D look to the layers after they were put together.

For my poinsettias, which were cut using JustRite dies, I added some of Really Reasonable Ribbons 8mm and 10mm white flat backed pearls to the centers. Each poinsettia was brushed using  perfect pearl to give a little glitz to the flowers. Next I added in some of the RRR Rose Buds in a white , they look so pretty, love these!

Resin Flowers were added to the corners, and these little flowers are so sweet and perfect for cards, and centers of flowers, also for decorating up the corners of your card like I did here.

Really Reasonable Ribbon:
Satin Swiss Dots Pearl Pink
Shimmer Satin Ribbon for the Red
Scotch ATG Refill Tape to put together layers
Foam Tabs
Rose Buds
white flat backed pearls
Resin Flowers

The little snowman and Let it Snow were stamped using the Mini Misti tool, and colored pens. I added some Stickles to the snowman for his black buttons. Love the colors I used for this card, they are not your normal traditional Christmas colors but they sure are fun!
Hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a lovely day!

Christmas in July: Blue Christmas Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

How are you surviving the summer heat? It has been sweltering here in North Carolina.  I only go outside to water my herbs and check the mail...and even then I break into a sweat.  Ugh!  So I've been spending a lot of time in my studio working on building up my card stash.  And to help keep myself cool, I decided to work ahead (for a change) on my Christmas cards.  And what is cooler for Christmas than a frosty blue, silver and white color palette, and shimmery Blue Topaz Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon

I bet you feel 5 degrees cooler just looking at this icy cool card!  I used my Zutter-Bow-it-All to create a triple loop bow with the Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon.  I love how soft and shimmery this ribbon is, and so easy to work with!  I topped it off with a little bead/berry spray to add even a little more glitz and glam to this holiday card.

The beautiful image is from Polly's Paper Studio Retro Christmas Creative Kit.  I added a little glitter and stitched the focal to white burlap.   The beautiful bow and layered silver snowflake framed the image perfectly.

Here's a peeky at the inside:

Now that's one Christmas card down...and only about 99 to go!  Hope you are staying cool and finding time to be creative!

Cheerio,
kathy

Seeing Swiss Dots and Buttons

Hey everyone.  It's Dana here with you today.  I hope you are having a great day.  I'm back to share a card I made using some fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love this primary color ribbon assortment.  It's perfect for spring.

This ribbon worked perfectly with some polka dot buttons I had stashed in my stamp room.  The colors matched perfectly.  I used the ribbon as stripes across my card and the buttons were the perfect embellishment.

All my card needed at this point was a simple sentiment.  I didn't want anything to take away from my ribbon stripes. This was a quick and cute card to put together.  By using different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon the look of this card is endless. I used some 3D foam tabs to pop my panel up on a white card base.

Now it's your turn to head on over to the shop and pick up your fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon and make yourself a striped ribbon card.  We would love to see what you create.  Have a fabulous day everyone.

Hugs,
Dana
