Handle With Care

Hi friends!  It's me, Karen Letchworth, sharing today.  Can you believe that October is already over, and that Christmas is less than two months away?  I know that it sure "snuck up" on me.  I've been trying to get some Christmas cards made, and so...for today's project I decided to make a pocket card by using a large glassine bag.  I folded the bag upwards half way, added some patterned paper, and machine stitched it to create the pocket.  I tucked some tags, a gift card, and some candy sticks inside the pockets.
I decorated my pocket bag with some lovely products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  In my humble opinion, everything is better with ribbon!  I ran a width of 5/8" Forest Green Satin Swirl Ribbon across the patterned paper just below the scalloped die-cut edge.  To that, I added a bow that includes a piece of 3/8" Forest Green Satin Ribbon With Gold Metallic Edges, two pieces of Lipstick Red Seam Binding, and a length of Black Licorice Baker's Twine.   This sweet little bow accent also includes a Wild Orchid Crafts Bead Berry Spray Cluster in White, as well as Red Double Head Stamens and Black Double Head Stamens; and is topped with a beautiful 12mm Silver Glitter Stardust Rhinestone from our Embellishment collection.
On one of the tags I tucked into the pockets, I added three Wild Orchid Crafts Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms in Ivory which are also found in the Mulberry Flowers section of the store.  There are SO many wonderful accents available at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and SO much more than all the amazing ribbons and trims we carry.  You're sure to find something WONDERFUL to help you create your next project.

There's also a FUN CHALLENGE and lots of great inspiration on the blog every day.  Be sure to stop by often to learn about special sales, and to see what's new.  We are here to help YOU find just what you need, and to inspire your creativity.  Thanks for stopping by!

Filling Up Your Stocking

Hello sweet creatives!
I have been in the Christmas spirit lately and started creating some vintage inspired projects using beautiful lace, trims, and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I grabbed a small knitted stocking, added buttons and the beautiful Francis White Crochet Lace around the top.  Next I added a bow with the Peppermint Baker's Tine and tucked under the sweet Silver Snowflake Charm.
I filled the stocking with fun vintage inspired image, plastic deer, and tucked in the Red Berry Cluster and White Spiral Stamen.  Then I dusted it with mica flakes to finish off.
This Christmas project was fun and easy to complete.  I hope it inspired you to put a little creativity into your day, sweet friends.

Let It Snow Card

Hello ribbon lovers!  Bonnie here today with a shimmery winter themed card featuring some pretty ribbons and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
This is such a wonderful sentiment die from Cheery Lynn Designs.  You may see more of this die!
I love a white and blue color combination and I also used some shimmer cardstock for more of a sparkly winter-type feel.  I also love the wispy white mulberry paper on a winter themed card.

I added a pretty Silver Snowflake Charm below the sentiment panel.  Perfect for this card!
My bow was created on my Bow-it-All V3.0 Tool using 5/8" Blue Topaz and Royal Blue Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I added a Silver Glitter Stardust Rhinestone to the center of the bow.

For a video tutorial on how I created this pretty bi-color bow, please click HERE.

Adding Sparkle with Christmas Ribbons

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  If you want to add a festive feel to your holiday cards this Christmas, why not add some sparkle with a little ribbon?

The October Ribbon Club assortment is filled with all sorts of cheerful  holiday trims in traditional Christmas colors.  I love this combination of Forest Green Swirls Satin, crochet lace and Poppy Red Gauze Print Satin Ribbons.

Tying printed ribbon can be a little tricky, but if you have a Zutter Bow-it-All Tool, it is easy as pie! I used my Bow-it-All Tool ( and Bonnie's video tutorial) to tie this double loop satin bow.  Then I glued it under my handmade poinsettia to serve in place of leaves.

These tags pull out of the pocket on the front of the card.  The larger tag was a bit plain until I dressed it up with ribbon and crochet lace.  Now it's ready for the Christmas party.

I even used ribbon on the inside of my card.

It provided a lovely closure for this little folio.

Here's a peeky at the inside.

I hope I've shared some fun ideas that you can use to dress up your own holiday cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dimensional Card Duo

Hi friends! Linsey here with you again and today I'm sharing 2 fun cards I've created with lots of dimension and I hope you like them! Here they are!
Maya Road felt flower and blossom embellishments coordinated perfectly with the gorgeous White Anastasia Crochet lace bows I used. This particular lace is also the same as the one included in the October Ribbon Club Assortment. I added a small pink resin flower to the center of each lace bow as well.
That's all for me! Thank you so much for visiting and allowing me to share some of my artwork with you! I've enjoyed it so much! Have a great day! Happy crafting!

Hope Your Day Blooms...

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to you all! Today's card that I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon is a super easy and simple card to make. Love when you need those last minute quick cards....hehehehe.  For this one I used 2 ribbons, and 2 embellishments, all from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Card takes less than 20 minutes to make.
To start I cut out my 2 design paper pieces that came from 2 different paper stacks called "Lemonade" and then Crate Papers "Open Book". I also used the black card stock from Club Scrap to layer with. Each layer does have some simple zig zag stitching.

The Ribbons I used are Satin Swiss Ribbon Dots,  for the bow, and then Diagonal Ribbon Striped Black for underneath it. I embellished my ribbon with a pretty Flower Shape Rhinestone Embellishment.

For the stamping, I used the Mini Misti Tool to align my images and then stamped along with Geranium Heart Song stamps, I colored the flowers with Copic markers YG03,G99,YG95 these are the greens I used. Next I chose RV34,R85,RV11,RV02

Lastly I added 4 white Resin Flower cabochons to the corners of my card. I also added some white gel dots to each layer.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:
Satin Swiss Ribbon Dots Black
1/8" Diagonal Ribbon Striped Black
Mixed Colored flowers rhinestone embellishment
FoamTabs

Towards the top, there's a die-cut spider web with a ribbon treatment that includes Solid Green Baker's TwineWonky Squares on White Satin RibbonSpider Webs on Black Satin RibbonDouble-Faced Satin TangerineBlack & White Plaid Houndstooth Ribbon, and 1.5" Gray Netting.  They all look so cute together.

Fall Treasure Bags

Do you love giving that special gift in a beautiful decorated bag?  It is so easy to decorate canvas bags using beautiful lace, burlap string and flowers.
I added the burlap leaf to the bag.  Then added a bow using the Ivory Burlap String and topped the bow with the Cosmos Daisy Flowers.
I decorated the kraft tag with petite Debra Natural Crochet Lace.   These bags can be filled with small treasures to be given to someone you love.
Hope you enjoyed this fun and easy project.
