Sweetly Irish Tag and Vintage Spring Green Ladies and Daisies Card

Heather here and today I would like to share with you a tag and card that I have made using some fabby ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Irish Tag

To create my tag I used my Purple Tag Bases, 

Irish Bingo Cards, Light Green St. Patrick's Day Stamp images, Cream Stamp bases.

I used the Celery Plaid, Grape Satin, Purple Leaves, Lavender Seam Binding, and Moss Green Seam Binding all from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Paris and Jungle Art Glitters were used.

Brambles by Jenn Cochran

Good morning RRR friends and followers.  Jenn here from Jax Bean Stalks.  Hope everyone is as excited as I am for the weekend.  I am ready to get crafty this Saturday.  What are all of your plans?  Going to dive into projects using Really Reasonable Ribbon?  I hope so!  Can't wait to see your projects in our challenges going on right here on the RRR blog.  If you look to the right you will see a link to our challenge area of the blog.  Just take a picture of your project and post it for all to see...link up to our current challenge and show us what you've been working on.

Today, I have made a tag using three different RRR's.  My 1st bow layer consists of Faux Canvas in Salmon.  OMG, you haven't see anything till you see this ribbon.  Faux canvas is a sturdy yet flexible ribbon.  It is super easy to tie and holds a bow perfectly!  

My second layer is a fabulous lace.  It is called Chloe Natural Crochet Lace.  I just tied it into a simple bow a bit bigger than my last layer.  The final layer is Stitched Satin in Aqua.  I topped off my layered bow with a few buttons and it made the perfect topper for my tag.

My tag is made using a new die from Sheena Douglass and colored with the brand new Spectrum Aqua markers.

Take note....

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping over today... i just have a quick and easy project to share today using some of my new favorite satin ribbons.  I have started collecting lots and lots of colors in this style and it is perfect to use for both cards and off the page projects, I really like it alot.

I wanted to make something fun to write notes on so i came up with this quick idea to use a metal chalkboard sign that i got at my local craft store.  I added some white chipboard pieces i had in my stash to both the top and bottom with adhesive first. Then i wanted to glitz it up so i also added just a bit of bling with clear rhinestones to go with the pink satin ribbons. The ribbon i used is called Satin w/Grosgrain Edge Ribbon.  It's super elegant and has a tiny bit of stitching running down each of the sides.  And the best part is it comes in so many gorgeous colors to use.

For my project i used the Pearl Pink and then added a few WOC Flowers to finish it.

It's simple and a fun project you could do with a family member to make for her room

St. Patrick's Day Banner

The top o'the morning to ye, my friends! Today I have a super fun St. Patrick's Day banner to share with you made with Really Reasonable Ribbon and the St. Patrick's Day Creativity Kit from Polly's Paper Etsy. I had to take down my beautiful Valentine banner...and my mantle looked so barren, that I decided to dress it up with the wearin' o' the green!

Of course, my master plan was to have my mantle all beautifully decorated...but on the very day that I completed this banner, the drywall crew showed up to begin the repairs on our home from the water damage we incurred from broken pipe. So my living room is hermetically sealed right now, and I have no access to my mantle. So I had to improvise. Sigh..... This is a massive banner, measuring more than 4 feet in length. All the papers and images come from the kit, and I just added a few paper rosettes, buttons and fabulous ribbons and flowers. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

This is the first panel on the banner. I stitched the pre-cut papers onto this gorgeous 1.5" Cream Mesh Ribbon. This is the most gorgeous stuff! It has a slight sheen to it, and is soooo soft and pretty. It was the perfect match for the lively Celery Green Plaid Ribbon I used to tie bows on either end of the banner. I topped the bow with a pretty Off White Chrysanthemum and then added white cosmos and green sweetheart blossoms from the green and white variety pack. Aren't they perfect for St. Pat's Day?

Here are more of those sweet blossoms on the next panel where they adorn the LUCK greeting and the lucky horseshoe.

You can see how great these greens work with these blossoms and the cream mesh ribbon. It's a match made in heaven!

I tucked a whole cluster of them into the lid of this cute green teapot. You know how I love my tea!

And they add so much texture, color and dimension to this panel. I hope Bonnie has lots of these in stock, because they are so perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

Here you can see how I stitched along the cream mesh ribbon...and you can say hello to the Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick's Day parade and his lovely wife!

The banner is finished off with another bodacious bow tied with my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool and topped with another off white chrysanthemum. I wish you could see this banner in person...it's so festive and fun. The perfect pick me up for the end of winter. It will look great on my mantle...once I can hang it there. So, what do you do for St. Patrick's Day? We generally go out for fish and chips...and of course we wear green, so we don't get pinched! And, I always make a loaf of Irish Soda Bread which is almost as yummy as this banner! Thanks for stopping by!

Clouds of Blue....

                   Hello there and happy almost Spring to you.  I ask you, can you have too much happy?  Too much sweetness?  I think not.  These sweet little glimpses into another time and place always make me happy.  So does knowing Spring is almost here.  These projects were made with that in mind for Really Reasonable Ribbon.
                   My first little project is a couple of sweet mini glassine bags decked out with Pretty Little Studio images and bingo cards, and layered with diecut hearts, mini clothespins, and vintage buttons.  I used moss green seam binding for my bows. My other project is an oversize tag that I layered with pattern papers from Ocotober Afternoon and Making Memories.  I used a big chunky glitter rose, stick pin with the sweetest rhinestone bow, and topped the project with both silver and lace blue seam bindings and attached satin swiss dot ribbon in blue topaz to the top.    These projects remind me of green spring grass and clear blue skies.  Things sure to come soon!   Enjoy and thanks for stopping by the RRR blog!  Cherry

Surprise everyone, it's Bonnie popping in today with a St. Patty's Day card that I was working on this past weekend.
I used several of the ribbons from the February Ribbon Club Assortment on my card.  I think a little purple works well on this card, right?

I used 3 of the ribbon styles from the Really Reasonable Ribbon February Ribbon Club Assortment on my card.  You can see the pretty grape satin with grosgrain edge on the fluffy double-loop bow and I used the pretty Sandra crochet lace layered over the gorgeous kiwi shimmer satin through the center of the card.

Your Beauty Is Golden

Hey everyone.  How's your weekend going?  It's Dana back with you today.  I'm still in a whirlwind of all the celebrating we did this month.  I'm ready to sit back and relax for a few days.  No make that weeks.  LOL  I did have a chance to make a card for a sweet friend of mine who came to our celebration.

I had this image colored up for a while but never had the right ribbon to finish off a card.  That is until I ran through the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop and picked up this gorgeous Shimmer Satin Daffodil ribbon.  Isn't this ribbon GORGEOUS?  Wait let me give you a closeup.

I know...I heard you.  Yup, that is some beautiful ribbon.  But wait, it gets even better.  It comes is sooo many fabulous colors.  Check out all these colors Bonnie has in store. I know, your jaw just dropped.  It's okay...I know I just blew your mind.  LOL

Vintage Travel Journal Mini

Hey there Peeps! It's Ginny here and I'm dropping in to share a Travel Journal Mini I created with beautiful trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon and layers of patterned papers from Graphic 45.  My new plan for vacations is to create the journal first and take it with me so I can record all those precious memories while they're fresh in my mind...no more forgetting dates or details!

I used Light Blue Checkerboard Satin, Capri Blue Diamond Satin, Blue/Gold/Ivory Plaid Ribbon, Brown Wrinkle Ribbon, and Pink Lemonade Swirls Organza for the rings and Baby Blue Roses and White Cosmos for the cover.  The patterned papers are Come Away With Me from Graphic 45 and the fabulous frames were cut with Spellbinders dies.

Glassine Bag Nursery Rhyme Book

Today Karen is sharing a super sweet Nursery Rhyme Book she created using soft, sweet glassine bags.  If you don't own any glassine bags, you can definitely create something like this using any of the sweet Decorative Bags available at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And of course, these little books can be tied shut by adding ribbons as a closure.  This is the front of Karen's little Nursery Rhyme Book.  You can see that she tied some May Arts Natural Burlap String and the closure includes Ivory Grosgrain and luscious Pink Aster Seam Binding.  There's also some Raspberry Baker's Twine tied around and around and around the bottom right.

The bags are covered in patterned papers, a doily, and lots of embellishments.  They're very easy to accessorize and adorn with all the FABULOUS ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Here is the next page as you untie and open the Nursery Rhyme Book.

You can see that Karen tied MANY lengths of Cotton Candy Baker's Twine around the right hand page because it's just SO sweet.  The photo below shows a close up photo of the Little Bo Peep page so that you can see the Cotton Candy Baker's Twine/Bow a little bit better.

By using glassine bags, or Decorative Bags in general, it creates automatic pockets for tags, journaling cards, etc.  The following page shows you what you see when you flip the next page, and of course......there are more Really Reasonable Ribbons!

This is my favorite because I just LOVE the Mary Had a Little Lamb page and the sweet little Mulberry Flowers tucked in.  And now......my favorite page of all, which is the Mary Had a Little Lamb page.

You can see the trims that tie the Nursery Rhyme Book shut, which again are the Ivory Grosgrain Ribbon and the Pink Aster Seam Binding.  And finally, the last photo is a picture of the Back Cover (flipped on its side), which has MANY lengths of Cotton Candy Baker's Twine around the back several times for texture and embellishment.
