Springtime Mailbox with RRR

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here today to share this super fun Tin Mailbox I decorated using Really Reasonable Ribbon, Flowers and embellishments. These are super fun to make, and Ive made 2 this year now.

So first I started with a mailbox that I bought from Walmart several years back. Next I covered the mailbox and the front door with design paper. I did use scape to attach it to the mailbox. Next I covered using trims that really reasonable ribbon carried years ago and put it around the door and the mailbox. Then I chose my flower assortments all from really reasonable ribbon and hot glued them to the top. I did add some Swiss dots grosgrain ribbon that Bonnie carries in the shop. I also added some Little embellishments that are also from really reasonable ribbon. For the front door I grabbed a butterfly and a little tag out of my supplies. And lastly I added the swirl gems to complete my mailbox. If you haven't decorated one of these, you have to try at least once as they are so much fun. Ive made these for the grandkids for valentines day and for others as well to gift. super fun! I love that you can use ribbons, trims, flowers, leaves and embellishments and brads and all the fun things we collect over the years.
Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies:

other supplies I used are from my stash. Butterfly, fabric brads, tulle, gem swirls, design paper, mail box, tag, and leaves all are from my stash.

I hope you enjoyed my post today and thank you so much for looking! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Spring is the Season of Love Bee Themed Greeting Card

Today I am sharing a gorgeous spring bee themed greeting card.  I embellished the card with some pretty ribbons and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I created a 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4" card with loads of layers. My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of black Checkerboard Satin Ribbon across the middle of the card and topped it off with a piece of yellow gold Plaid Ribbon.  I finished my card off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 15 and 20mm Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Spring Sentiments 3 Digi Stamp Bundle. The interior Sentiment is from the Note Card Sentiments for the Inside Digital Stamp Bundle. The background was created with my Honeycomb Overlay SVG Bundle. All my designs can be found on my Bonnie Garby Designs Etsy shop.

Our sister company 'Bonnie Garby Designs' is offering a large variety of digital sentiment stamps and svg files.  Below are the digital stamp bundles I used on my card today.

Happy Easter

With Spring already here, it's no secret that Easter is just around the corner.  I was able to create some Easter cards this week; and as always, Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trims for every project.  Today I'm sharing a card that uses Seam Binding and Solid Baker's Twine.  It's always good to know that Really Reasonable Ribbon will always have the exact colors, widths, styles and designs to match all my cards, tags and more.
My card has a cream cardstock base layered with some Crate Paper Farmhouse patterned papers that I machine stitched.  I ran a length of Cream Seam Binding across my card and tied a double bow with it.  I topped that with some Green, Purple and Orange Solid Baker's Twine and an Ivory Open Rose.  The sentiment is from Stamp Simply.  Everything is held securely in place using Scor-Tape.
The carrot and shiplap (crate) dies are from The Greetery.  The two photos you see above are the front of this Easter card.  Below you will see the inside view of my card.  The sentiment I used on the inside is from Bonnie Garby Designs and it's found in the Easter Religious Sentiment Digital Stamp Set.  I also added more of the Cream Seam Binding and Solid Baker's Twine as well as some pretty Metallic Gems from the Embellishments Section.
It would mean so much to me if you would stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop to look around and possibly treat yourself to some Ribbons, Trims or Twines, Mulberry Flowers, Adhesives or any of the other hundreds of amazing products they carry.  Thank you so much for visiting me here today and please stop by again soon for even more inspiration and creative ways to use ribbons and trims.

Blessings,
Karen

Hoppy Easter Card!

 Hello and Happy April First!

Misty @Mommyofkidz here today sharing a super quick Easter card with y'all.  I have been on somewhat of a "PURPLE" kick lately.  Yes, it is my favorite color, but I think it is more than that.  I have heard so many people say that it is difficult to work with the color purple, whether it be on cards, scrapbooking, or even in their home decor.  All the "negative" comments about purple challenged me to see if it was true.

I am here to say...it is definitely not true!

For this card, I started with a couple of my favorite PURPLE items from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and then went from there. I love the results!

But, for this project, I only needed the 1.5 inch Purple.
After cutting the bunny silhouettes out of the different yardsticks, I was also going to need
I mean...I couldn't just leave the bunny butts bare, could I!!??

I wanted a BIG goofy tail, but not too big that it covered the entire backside.

Wild Orchid Craft 25mm Cottage Roses Mixed Purple/Lilac

YES PLEASE! These were the perfect choice!
These are gorgeous in the photo and even more stunning in real life!
I definitely want...no... NEED all the cottage roses!  Trust me, you will love them, too!

I hope that I have inspired you today with my purple passion!
I do actually love the color purple...and would love to see what you can create with it!
Head on over to the  Really Reasonable Ribbon store and grab your favorite PURPLE products and start your own crafting journey!

Happy Mother's Day

I'm ready for Mother's Day this year.  In fact, I have all three of the Mother's Day cards I need all ready to go.  There's one for my own Mom, one for my husband's Mom (MIL), and a third one that's for another very special Mom in my life.  All three of them are hand stitched.  Another similarity is that they each have ribbons and trims to adorn them, and Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect trims for every single card and project.  If you're not quite yet ready for Mother's Day, Really Reasonable Ribbon can help you get your cards done and looking fabulous.
I used purple cardstock for the base layered with a notebook pattern paper that I stamped using the Typewritten Stamp Set from Creative Worship and cut with the Crimped Frame Dies from The Greetery.  I used those same Frame Dies to cut the inner pieces of purple cardstock.  Half of a white doily was tucked in underneath the papers.
I used the Hoopla Mini Dies and Hoopla Mini Inserts Dies to create the cross-stitch frames.  I painted the frames and pins with ivory acrylic paint.  Inside each frame, you'll see ivory cardstock that I cut with the Aida Cloth Texture Plate Die and I cross-stitched little flowers in each one using DMC floss.  I used pieces of Scor-Tape to secure everything in place.  On each of the little frames, I added a Baker's Twine bow including one tied with Plum Baker's TwineLilac Baker's Twine, Solid Purple Baker's Twine and Lemon Baker's Twine.  I topped one with a Purple Miniature Sweetheart Blossom.
I apologize for that last photo; it's super blurry.  Nonetheless, thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'm always delighted to have you visit me and say hello.  I'd love to hear your thoughts on this card.  Be sure to stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to check out all their wonderful products and to check out the trims I used on my card today.  Happy crafting.

Blessings,
Karen

Rainbow Stripe Korker Bow

Hello and HAPPY MONDAY!!
Misty @Mommyofkidz here today and,
Y'all, I have to say, I am so very excited that spring is FINALLY HERE!
The crazy weather the past few weeks has kept this old Mama super sick,
and playing with ribbon has been the last thing on my mind.
BUT FINALLY the weather is warming up and the sun is starting
to shine a bit brighter and a bit warmer down here in Texas.
I can't wait to see all the beautiful colors of spring start popping out!

Obviously I have been having withdrawals from ribbon, so of course my first project HAD to use a LOT of Really Reasonable Ribbon right?   Of COURSE it did!

I pulled out my handy dandy 1/4 inch dowel rods and
wooden clothes pins and set to work!
I knew that I wanted a fun BRIGHTLY colored bow, so I reached for my

Of course, I wanted a variety of ribbons for this bow, so I pulled out all my striped styles and selected a few of my favorites to coordinate. Everything I used for this bow was a grosgrain style...whis is my favorite to make bows with by the way!

Little PSA...There is a SALE in the RRR Store right now...and it is a FANTASTIC discount! You should go check it out!

So, I wrapped the dowels will as much ribbon as I had enough pace for in my oven and I baked it at 250 degrees for 25 minutes.
No other prep work is even needed...just:
WRAP
CLIP
BAKE
MAKE
DECORATE!

Now, there are a few other details to these steps, but those are the FIVE STEPS that I stand by, and stress how super easy it is to make a Korker Bow!
Once I assembled my fun bow, I added some cute rainbow and cloud resin pieces that I had in my stash.  Being an avid crafter, I have LOTS of tiny pretties like this in my stash at all times!  I'm sure you all do, too!

What are you working on today?
Any fun projects sitting on your desk waiting for inspiration?
We would love it if you shared with us!
If there is anything you would like to see the Design Team do with
Ribbon, tell us that, too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a FANTASTIC week!!

I created a 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4" card with loads of layers. Decorated Glitter Egg wit RRR

Hello everyone, DT member Cheryl here with a fun little project. I decorated this glitter egg using Really Reasonable Ribbon supplies. Love doing these!

Egg I bought at Walmart, and then used the flowers from RRR stamens , and little embellishment, and ribbon.

Ribbon I used is really reasonable ribbons satin, I used a pink cherry blossom flower, some mini and regular size sweetheart blossoms, Open roses, rosebuds, and another little flower. I hot glued the flowers all on the ribbon leaves, and had a lot of fun doing this.

Thank you so very much for stopping by and have a lovely day! hugs to all, Cheryl

Thinking of You

It's always special when you open your mailbox and find a sweet hand-made card just letting someone know that you're thinking of them.  This card will be sent to a friend of mine in Minnesota who's been going through a rough patch in life, and I really want her to know she's been on my mind.  At Really Reasonable Ribbon, you'll always find the perfect trims, twines, flowers and more that will allow you to make beautifully adorned cards.
This card started with white watercolor paper that I inked a bit.  You're welcome to visit My Personal Blog for all the other product details.  Everything you see is attached securely to my card using pieces of Scor-Tape.  This is an amazing Adhesive, and it comes in various widths to accommodate every different project you might have.
The pretty bow I added was tied with lengths of the gorgeous Danish Blue Seam Binding.  This shade is what I describe as "dusy blue" and is a bit darker in real life than shown on the website.  (in my humble opinion).  But then again, Really Reasonable Ribbon carries SO many different colors of pretty much every trim so that you're always sure to find the perfect match for all your cards.  On top of that bow, I added another bow using Hot Pink Baker's Twine; and I topped it with a Miniature White Sweetheart Blossom.  Everything at RRR comes in the perfect color, width, etc.  You'll find it ALL.
Don't forget to join us on the 13th of this, and every, month for our Blog Hop where you can WIN a gift card to spend at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  There's also lots of FAB inspiration every day on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  Thanks so much for visiting me today and have a wonderfully creative week.

Blessings,
Karen
