Valentine paper projects with cherry Nelson

How can it be the last Monday in January already? Cherry here to share some

  sweet Valentine paper projects today. All made for RRR blog.

I can never turn down a vintage image.  These sweet little kitty flair pins I have been saving are just another favorite.

this card called for some polka dots so I added Circus Dots In blue

I also added some vintage pom pom fringe to the inside and let it peek out from the bottom.

The inside I also added a paper border and a gold "love you" sentiment.

So the full sentiment read "love you always".  I love to make the inside just as pretty as the outside.

My next project Is another fun gift ensemble.  Enjoyed making these this year. A little addicted to pinwheels. 

I go through phases.  I make a project.  Than make another.  I than forget about them, only to discover them again later.  Do you ever do that?  Kinda like rediscovering something all over again.

I added some lace to this pinwheel.

On The Menu....Peppermint Candy

Hey there, everyone!  Welcome by today as I (Karen) share an extra sweet card I created using lots of fabulous products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used some older Crate Paper (Peppermint) patterned papers, chipboard and stickers.  When I saw that chipboard sentiment (Peppermint Candy), I knew right away that I wanted to add a real peppermint stick or candies to  my card.  I attached my patterned papers using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape, and I inked the papers' edges and then machine stitched around the upper edges.

At the center of my card (or just below center actually), I added a "menu" journalling card and half of a white doily; and then I ran a width of Baby Pink Seam Binding across my card.  I tied the bow with more of the Baby Pink Seam Binding along with some Bay Leaf Seam Binding, and a bundled length of Red Burlap String.  There are also lots of my very favorite Embellishment of all....loads of gorgeous Red Double-Head Stamens, White Double-Head Stamens, some Baby Blue Double-Head Stamens, and even a few Aqua Double-Head Stamens cascading through my bow to highlight that sweet peppermint stick.

I topped that sweet bow cluster with some beautiful Open Red Roses, and some Open Roses in pinks from the lovely Mixed Pinks 10mm Open End Roses.  All the pinks in this sweet set are absolutely GORGEOUS...just like all the wonderful Mulberry Flowers found in the RRR Shop.

Stamperia Baby Girl Shaker Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Today I have a pretty in pink Baby Girl Shaker card to share with you

Pearl Pink Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon looks fabulous with this vintage style shaker card.  I tied my double loop bow with a little help from my Zutter Bow it All Tool, then topped the ribbon with Ivory Burlap String and a posy. Ivory Burlap String.

The ribbon does double duty inside the card, serving as a closure for the little accordion folio.

Swiss Dot Satin comes in wide range of colors and widths, so chances are good you can find just the right shade to go with whatever collection you are working with.  You can never have too much ribbon!

Love Note Box

Hi friends! Linsey here today sharing a fun project that is sure to give you all the heart eyes!!! It's easy and great for the whole family. Spread the love this Valentine's season with your very own love note box!

I started with a 4x4x4" cardboard box and altered it with some pretty Valentine's patterned papers on each side. Next, stickers and sentiments were added for more interest and 4 metal feet were placed to the bottom, with a crystal-style knob on the top. The idea is that you put the box in a family-friendly spot in the house, like the kitchen. Add blank note cards and a pen, then encourage the family to write a note of support, encouragement and love to someone else at anytime, then place note inside the box. Family members will be excited to check the box daily and see who left them a little bit of love! Such a fun and easy way to bring the family together this Valentine's Day! 

I added some gorgeous Poppy Red Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and made each strip into a big bow, then layered them and added another bow made from 3/8 Inch Black Gingham Ribbon a top of that. Finally, I added 2 strips of Black Burlap String tied into a double bow to a decorative button and placed it in the center of the triple bow. The results are beautiful! Ribbon always adds the final touch to a great project, don't you think? I sure do!

Sweet Fox Valentine Candy Pocket

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today I have these darling Candy Fox Heart Pockets I made using all heart shape die cuts, and Really Reasonable Ribbon, and embellishments.  I made 12 of these to give at our Doll Club Meeting for February, for a Valentine's Day exchange. I thought they would be cute and fun to give to the ladies. I really enjoyed making these, and thought next time I will have to try to make some Kitty Cats maybe, they would be super cute too!

To start with I cut out 24 large hearts, remember they are pouches to hold a candy, so the back is the same as the front. I then glued the edges together to create 12. Next I took a smaller heart and cut 12 white for the fox's face, and cut it in half, and then cut a little off of it, and glued it down to the top. I thought, wouldn't it be darling to have the eyes heart shaped as well, so I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's Heart Shaped Pearls, and then added the black to the centers. Now if you have those black pearls really small, you can use those, but I had the viva pen, and used it. The tip isn't working so well on it, so the dots don't come out as great as they used to, but it worked., Next I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's White 8mm pearl, and colored it black for the nose. The ears I used 2 different sizes of hearts, and then made 2 different bows and added a flower to the center. Love making these darling foxes, they were so fun. Next I am going to try to make some kitty cats, I think they would be so darling too!

Bee Tag Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! I'm still having such a great time working with the Spring Farmhouse Collection from Prima.

This patterned paper coordinates perfectly with the Light Gray Wrinkle Ribbon.

I am sooo in love with this plaid paper.

I went for a double bow for a luxe look. More is better after all.

Layers of flowers with die cut foliage creates a nice full arrangement.

This gorgeous bee image is part of the journal cut aparts. I cut it into a tag shape and added it over a crisp white die cut doily, vintage button, bee charm, and sequins.

Hey Cupcake, Will You be My Valentine? by Cherry's Jubilee Home

Hi my sweet ribbon friends! Cherry here to share today on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog. I have a fun little gift ensemble to share today. It starts with this over the top cute "Hey cupcake" card..then you open the card and it says "will you be my valentine"?

 How cute is this inside?  Lots of sweet details my friends! It would make anyone feel special....so cute for grand-kids.

 I used  Bay Leaf Seam Binding for my ribbon.

 Then, of course I could not leave well enough alone and added this sweet mini pinwheel ...it is wrapped with confetti grosgrain ribbon.  I layered die cut flowers on top on each other and adhered them to the top of the spool.  I added homemade paper fringe to bottom.  Such a sweet gift set.   Well that is it for me today!  hugs, cherry

Oh, Baby!

Hello and thanks for taking a moment to stop by today. Today it's Karen Letchworth here sharing a sweet baby card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a sweet line called Oh, Baby from Simple Stories, and I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest.  While that card didn't have any ribbons on it, you know I couldn't resist.  For me, the card simply isn't finished until I've added the ribbons!

I attached my patterned papers together using strips of an amazing Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  I attached an oval journalling piece to the journalling card (if that makes sense).  I did this to "hide" the writing on the card.  I placed the giraffes sticker over the journalling piece, and I topped that with another sticker (Oh, Baby) using 3-D Adhesive Foam Tabs to raise it up.  I did the same thing with the heart stickers by attaching the 3-D Adhesive Foam Tabs to those as well.  I added some White Flatback Pearls to the heart stickers.

I also added some different washi tapes and stickers.  Then came the really fun part....the ribbons!  I ran a width of Cream Seam Binding across my card, and used that and some soft, sweet Baby Pink Seam Binding to create a nice fluffy bow.  I used a piece of Teal Baker's Twine to tie together several Pink Miniature Double Head Stamens, White Miniature Double Head Stamens and Baby Blue Miniature Double Head Stamens.  I attached those with some hot glue, and covered the "mess" with some Blue, Green and Yellow Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms from the Mixed Pastels Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms collection.  Every sweet little touch makes the card even cuter, and Really Reasonable Ribbon is the perfect place to find all things sweet to help take your cards and projects to the next level.

Welcome to Winter

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Welcome to winter!  Brrr!  While winter has it's own special beauty, it can also be brutal.  So to help you survive the cold, cold season and general misery that winter provides, I've create this cute Winter Survival Kit.

3x3 Mini Card 6 Pack

Hey friends and happy Monday! Linsey here today sharing a great little tutorial for all occasion 3x3 mini cards! I love making and keeping a stack of these available in my craft room. They make for a perfect note card to a loved one, neighbor or friend and they're super perfect for adding to a gift without a needing a full sized card to go with it! Here I've made a sassy 6 pack of mini's sure to start your week off right!

Who doesn't love emoji's, right?! These are so much fun and beyond easy to put together! Choose your solid cardstock for the base. Cut each card base 3x6", then score at 3" and fold in half. Base is ready to go! Add pattern paper and 2 scallop squares layering one another, then add fun emoji stickers and sentiments! Each card has a strip of either Checkerboard Satin Coral Rose or Crosshatch on Tropic Satin Ribbon layered over the pattern paper. Little ONE First Birthday card

 Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all! Today I have a super fun 1st Birthday card to share using Really Reasonable Ribbon, flowers and embellishments. Its been a while since I've made any cards, and this one is super special as I made it for our Grandson's 1st Birthday!

On my card I decided to use Really Reasonable Ribbons Delicate Stitched Satin in blue to create a bow to put behind the little tag that says Little ONE. The fox and that tag were both cut out of the design paper, as this darling paper is so sweet and I thought it was perfect for my grandson's birthday. The fox I chose is a CC die and thought it would be cute colored up along with a little cupcake with a number 1 candle. I then added some RRR rose buds and some branches and leaves to the area around the fox and cupcake. I added some glitter to the cupcake and to the top of the candle. Lastly I did add a couple of cute flower embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon as I thought they would be so darling on the card and give it a little glitz.

Everyday Beauty Mini Album

Happy New Year friends and crafty peeps! So excited to be sharing my first project for 2019! Even though it's a new year I'm still using my favorite plaid ribbon : )

I'm using the Spring Farmhouse collection from Prima for this album.

With pretty flowers to coordinate. I've also tucked in some burlap string to make the arrangement nice and full.

Vintage buttons are the perfect accent for this shabby farmhouse style.

Pages inside have pockets that hold tags with tip ins.

Incorporating tip ins means you can utilize the entire image even in smaller books.

This set of pages have double pockets. Larger tags are tucked into the the back pocket and folded inserts in front.

I just love these vintagy images!

These full page tip ins are a great way to add real estate for loads of pictures and journaling.

The front and back cover have more of that gorgeous buffalo plaid.
