Plant Kindness Grow Love card Duo by Cherry Nelson

Hello my paper friends, Cherry here!  I hope and pray that all is well with you at this trying time.  I created these cards for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I feel that we all need some uplifting these days, so with that in mind I created these bright happy cards.

I used 5/8 Satin Swiss mini dots ribbon in Apple Green.  I  also added some pretty pink Chrysanthemums .

I always think of Hope and renewal when I see a Butterfly and thought this one was fitting for this card.

My second card uses 3/8 Checkerboard satin in Geranium Pink which contrasts so well with the Spring green pattern paper I used.

I added a few finishing details to each card and they are both ready to cheer someone up!  Never forget that something homemade can reassure someone in times of worry.

I am loving the combination of pinks, greens, and peaches.

I will continue to pray for all!  I hope you find some inspiration and cheer today!
                                                           xoxo, Cherry

Pretty Ribbons and Spring Flowers

Must Have Flowers Carta Bella Farmhouse Card Folio by Kathy Clement Kathy by Design for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 01

Hello Friends!  I Must Have Flowers always and always!  Do you feel that way?  I'm not much of a gardener, but I do love pretty floral papers and paper flowers on my projects.  This sweet little springtime card features beautiful ribbons from the March Ribbon Club Assortment.

Light Coral Diamond Satin Ribbon is absolutely dreamy with this paper collection.  I've paired it up with some Iridescent Metallic String in the bow cluster. Iridescent string always adds just the right touch of shimmer to a project.  I use it so often that I buy it a roll at a time.

Turn this pretty card into a gift by adding a couple of pockets on the inside.  Fill the top pocket  with a color matched tea bag, note card, and decorated honey stick.

Decorate a pretty bookmark with Coral Rose Swiss Dots Satin and Petal Peach Quatrefoil Satin Ribbon.  Stitch the paper bookmark pieces onto some canvas to make a  soft bookmark that will last a long time.

I hope I've shared some tips, tricks and ideas you can use in your own crafty adventures.

Thanks for stopping by!

RRR Decorated Milk Jar Mini

Hello everyone , welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog! Hope you are all doing well! Today I have a Mini Milk Jar I had purchased after Christmas and figured they would work perfect for decorating with RRR flowers and Ribbons, Loving how this turned out. I figured it could hold either Candy to give as a gift or maybe buttons or something else. Super fun and easy to decorate.

On this i started with the Robbins Egg wrinkled Ribbon and then added the gingham print on top. I used the hot glue gun to add it to the jar. Next I chose to use the Yellow Chrysanthemums to the ribbon and then added 3 rose buds. I tucked the tag under using one of the foam squares from RRR and the little ladybug was also added using a foam square. want an easy project , this is it! And super fun to make.

Encouragement For Someone Special

Hello, everyone, and welcome by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today.  It's Karen here today and I hope you're all doing well.  We realize this is a difficult time for everyone, and we want you all to know that we really do care about you.  We hope that our projects are a blessing and an encouragement to you.  Crafting is a great way to pass the time while we're somewhat stuck at home, and Really Reasonable Ribbon has all the perfect Ribbons, Twines, Seam Binding, Mulberry Flowers, Adhesives, and.....well, LOTS of great products.  I really do suggest that you take some time (since we're all pretty much stuck at home right now anyway, right?) and stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon store to see what's new and what's calling your name.
My sweet niece, Alexa, is already a tween.  Some of you who know me well might remember her from some of  my posts and photos I've shared about her over the years.  She's growing up so fast, and I enjoy watching her grow.  I'm THRILLED that, even as a tween, she still thinks I'm super cool.  I hope that never changes as she gets older.  I've worked very hard to maintain my relationship with her and to let her know how much I love her, and now that she's in middle school; I continue to encourage her.  I realize this is a challenging time in any kid's life.  That's why I made this little frame and card to send her.  Just for encouragement.  And we could ALL use some encouragement now and then.
First is this little frame (top photo) I picked up on clearance at Michael's for 49 cents.  I added a few floral prills in the grooves of the frame, placed a journaling card in the frame, and then adorned the frame with several fabulous Mulberry Flowers.  I started with a big beautiful White Magnolia Flower and then added several Sweetheart Blossoms and Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms including blues from the Mixed Blues assortment, and several pastels from the Mixed Pastels assortment, and one Red Sweetheart Blossom.  I also bundled a bit of Ivory Burlap String underneath the White Magnolia Flower.
Next, I made a card to (somewhat) match.  I used lots of snippets (scraps) of paper to create the background and sentiment.  I love using up little snippets so that all those cute little pieces can come together into something useful.  I used pieces of Scor-Tape to attach all the patterned papers and stickers.  Then, I added a bow that includes a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding, Vivid Pink Seam Binding, and 1/2" Red Wrinkle Ribbon secured with an adorable Rusty Pear-Shaped Safety Pin from our Embellishments section. ADORBS!  I also added two sweet peachy colored Magnolia Flower found in the Mixed Pastels Magnolia Flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Please take time to visit us at Really Reasonable Ribbon to see what's new.  There are SO many FAB products, and you're sure to find something you love.  Stay safe and healthy, and may God bless you all.

Live True Sweet and Simple Greeting Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Spring is peeping around the corners here in North Carolina, and the RRR March Ribbon Club Assortment is perfect for all our spring themed projects!

I've adorned this sweet and simple 6x6 top fold card with two of the ribbons from this month's club.  Coral Rose Swiss Dots Satin adds some pop to the border of my layered papers.  And Light Coral Diamond Satin Ribbon looks like it was made for the floral cluster on this card.

These flowers make me think of the azaleas that bloom so early in the spring.  I just love them!

The inside of the card is sweet and simple, too.  Room to write a little note, and then a little pocket filled with tea.  It's the simple pleasures in life that are the best after all.

Wishing you a day filled with the beauty of life!

Sweet Birthday wishes /Shaker card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing a sweet card made for a friends Birthday that is this week, and for Really Reasonable Ribbon and My Makers Movement, using the beautiful Ribbons from RRR and super darling Dies and Stamps from Makers Movement, I will list all products used below, thank you.

On my card for today I chose to use the super cute design papers from Pebbles called From Me to You, Love it! Next I put each layer together using the Scotch advanced tape refill, and then added sewing and white dots to each layer.

Jar was done using this darling set called You're the Sweetest from My Makers Movement, and I added the cute little heart sprinkles inside. Love this darling jar, its a shaker card. The lid for the jar has the foam under it, and then a RRR 10mm flat backed pearl.

Next I chose to add some Beautiful Ribbon bows to my card, I hot glued them on in the corner, double layered bow, using Delicate Stitched and Gingham ribbons both from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and then added the big beautiful Yellow Chrysanthemums.

With Sympathy

We're so grateful that you've stopped by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today, creative friends.  Today it's Karen here sharing a sweet card that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I used a stamped sentiment (With Sympathy) from Stamp Simply, and the panel design I used to create my card base was inspired by my talented teammate Ginny from Polly's Paper Studio and her Panel Card Tutorial.  Once I had all my patterned papers chosen, cut, distressed, inked and sewn, I attached them securely with strips of Scor-Tape.  Then, I got busy with the really FUN part...decorating and embellishing my card with some FUN products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
At the bottom left of my card, I added some bundled Ivory Burlap String.  I topped that with a bow tied using a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding.  That's topped with a sweet little Light Pink Berry Bead Cluster, two Pastel Magnolia Flowers, two different styles of Mulberry Leaves, and there's also a bunch of Double Head Stamens tucked in there...including some Milk White, some Light Pink, Matcha Green, and Light Blue.  These awesome touches come in a wide variety of colors (and two styles), and they're very affordable (approx. $2/400 pcs.) so why not grab some?  I own them in every color, and I use them ALL the time (as you may have noticed...LOL).
At the bottom right of my card, you'll see a sweet piece from our Embellishments section by way of the vintage style Flatback Gem I attached.  There's also a cute little Rusty Paperclip tucked into my bow.  There are all sorts of great products available at RRR in addition to all their fabulous ribbons and trims.  Why not treat yourself today?  Or, at least stop by to do some looking around.  I adore everything at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I have a feeling that you will as well.

Thanks again for stopping by,
Karen

Make Today Great All Occasion Greeting Card

Hello there friends and RRR fans! Ginny here to share a greeting card with gorgeous trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The inspiration for this card was a pretty butterfly journal card. I clipped it into a tag shape and layered it over coordinating patterned papers.
I wanted the butterfly to look like it was part of the floral arrangement so I added the flowers  starting in one corner and working my way to the other leaving the image visible between the arrangements.
There's a check layered over a plaid here so to keep it from looking busy I used the smaller pattern on top and die cut it to have a scalloped edge.
The seam binding makes a pretty petite bow tucked under the flowers. Loopy twine bows  help to fill in the space and soften the hard edges.
The larger flowers are positioned on top and have a second bow for balance.

~Really Reasonable Ribbon~Peach Seam Binding, Ivory Burlap String.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
