NEVER Enough Ribbon!

Hi, crafty friends!  It's Karen Letchworth here today, and I am a firm believer that you can NEVER have enough ribbon; and HEAVEN FORBID that you should ever say that you have "TOO MUCH" ribbon.  It's simply impossible!  So, this week when a friend asked me to make some cute little table decorations for the girls coming to her daughter's 10th Birthday Party next weekend. I just took a good look at my supplies and made it work with what I had.  Luckily, I have LOTS of great Really Reasonable Ribbon (and again, I promise you that you can NEVER EVER have enough ribbon!) and it sure did come in handy.
First, I made a place card for each of the (six) girls by using a Wooden Spool, a paper straw, and LOTS of great Really Reasonable Ribbon including their luscious Wide Pink Wrinkle Ribbon, Seam Binding Baby Pink, Seam Binding Elderberry, Plaid Ribbon Pink, Plaid Ribbon Purple, Burlap String Pink, Burlap String Violet, and also some of Really Reasonable Ribbon's other goodies including some of the GORGEOUS flowers such as the Wild Orchid Crafts Open Pink Roses, Wild Orchid Crafts Open Pink Dark Violet Roses and Wild Orchid Crafts Spiral Stamens in Pink.  All that loveliness was tied into the big fluffy bow at the top and attached to a paper straw.  The straw is hot glued into a large wooden spool.
To each of the wooden spools, I ran a piece of the beautiful Wide Natural Burlap With Wired Edge With Pink & White Trim around its base, tore a small strip of 2 1/2" Cotton Blend Plain Burlap Trim and tied it in a knot, added a small bow of Pink Burlap String and a Wild Orchid Crafts Open Rose in Dark Violet.  Each girl has their name attached to their straw to mark their place setting.
For the other decoration, I made each girl a little jar filled with candies.  I found some small jars, painted and glittered the lids, and then made a ribbon treatment/bow to place on the top of each jar lid.  These bows are a bit smaller, but uses almost all the same trims as the first project including the delightful Wide Pink Wrinkle Ribbon, Seam Binding Baby Pink, Seam Binding Elderberry, Plaid Ribbon Pink, Burlap String Pink, Burlap String Violet, and also some of Really Reasonable Ribbon's embellishments including their super sweet flowers such as the Wild Orchid Crafts Open Pink Roses, and Wild Orchid Crafts Open Pink Dark Violet Roses.  So you see, you really can't ever have enough ribbon because you never know when a project will use up LOTS of your stash.  And let's be honest, you NEVER want to be completely out of ANY of these gorgeous trims.  Today is a great day to RESTOCK all your favorite ribbons, laces, trims, flowers and more, and by shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon......you can have it all!  I welcome you to stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to see additional photos and read a bit more about my projects.  Have a blessed week, and don't forget to stock up.  You can NEVER have enough ribbon!

Easter Blessing Card

Hello Friends!!
Heather here and today I would like to share with you an Easter card that I created.  It is hard to believe that this Sunday will be Easter!  It kind of crept up on me this year :0)
I used a bunch of goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon!
I started out by cutting a piece of 8.5 by 11 inch paper in half to create my ivory cardstock base.  I then cut a piece of my floral digital paper to use as my background.  I layers the Edna Lace and then the aqua satin which I topped with  Baby Pink and Blue Mulberry Roses.  Tombow Foam Tabs were used to elevate my pink ticket base with Easter Blessings Focal.  I did the pink tag with layers of  Edna Lace and Celery gingham.  Topped with Pink Mulberry Roses, and  Cotton Candy Baker's Twine as well as light blue leaves and pink twine.  I also used pink lace and  pink twine at the bottom and top of the tag. Here is a close up below.
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter and enjoy the rest of your week.
Thank you for visiting us atReally Reasonable Ribbon!

Cupcake Birthday by Jenn Cochran

Hello to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon fans and followers.  It’s Jenn here from Jax BeanStalks.  Do you ever feel like you are scrambling to get a birthday card ready?  I always feel like I don’t have any on hand when I need them.  It is so frustrating.  So, what I have done is come up with a card layout that you can customize for male or female…and for the kiddos.  It is super simple and takes just about 5-8 minutes to throw together.

If you can come up with a good layout (or you can use my LO), then the possibilities are endless.  I have taken this die cut cupcake and made it into several different colors to match different papers.  With the die cut in 3 pieces this is really the most time consuming part of the card.  With the cupcakes premade, I can simply add ribbon and a sentiment to the square die cut.  Voila, the card is done and ready to give.

I have used the Faux Canvas ribbon in Fuchsia.  I tied a simple triple looped bow and made sure to wrap the ribbon around the middle of the card to add an extra pop of color to this fun and festive card.

Hope you find this card easy and a motivation to stock your birthday card stash!  Thanks so much for visiting.

Repurpose a Fun Frame with Ribbons

Hi everyone, it's Teresa here for with a quick post for this month to repurpose a cute frame that I got at Michaels recently.  I found this beautiful Wired Woven Check Ribbon  on the website and new I needed to try it and I had to do something fun with it. So I gathered up some things I had in my stash and had fun playing.

The frame was already painted and distressed so I thought it would be fun to add some buttons all around the edges of the frame and then finish it with a really pretty bow made with the wired ribbon
and some seam binding ribbon that I misted and scrunched in the center of it.

It's simple and easy and now I can find a cute picture of my family to put inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by today :)

Emerald Tartan Plaid and Good Old Sport

Hello, Friends!  It's Kathy here, and I have a brand new ribbon "crush."  This Emerald Tartan Plaid Ribbon caught my eye, and I just had to work it up into  a vintage layered card made with Graphic 45 Good Old Sport papers.

I love the way the deep emerald green is mixed with navy blue stripes, and it makes it the perfect ribbon match for this pretty paper.

I did a bit of stitching on the layers, and matted everything with black cardstock to ground the card and unify all those yummy patterns.  Don't you love that this lady is dressed to go play golf?  I even managed to find a tiny green golf bag in my button stash. How amazing is that?  I added it to a flower cluster of Mixed Color Cosmos, Red Center Sweetheart Blossoms and Two Tone Blue Sweetheart Blossoms.

I can't imagine doing anything athletic in an outfit like this, but it sure does make for a fun card!

Hoping you all have a great day, and plenty of time for crafting this weekend!  Don't forget to link up your creations to the RRR Bright Spring Colors Challenge!  You still have time to throw your hat into the ring!

Cheerio,

kathy

Easter Wishes

Hello, Cherry here today to share this sweet Easter plaque.  I started with a sturdy chipboard scroll base that I covered in polka dot papers.  I sanded the edges and inked them a bit.  I added tinsel and silver metallic grosgrain around the canvas image.  I also added some homemade paper fringe and a big fluffy flower.  I wanted to add some more character so I added more silver grosgrain along with seam bindings in bay leaf and baby pink along with a sweet metal rimmed tag , a vintage button, and some sweetheart blossoms in pink.  Love the vintage feel the silver grosgrain adds to this little project!  Enjoy, cherry

Floral Thank You

Hi there crafty peeps!  I wanted to share with you today a card I created with some of the supplies from the March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit and some fabulous ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I layered a few of the papers that came in the kit together on top of some yellow shimmer cardstock. The kit came with a die that punches a row of holes and I used that on the top and bottom of the card. I wove Metal Gray Swiss Dots Grosgrain Ribbon through the holes.  I then stamped the sentiment onto a journal card from the paper collection.  I stamped flowers and leaves from the included stamp set with two different shades of yellow ink and a light gray ink.  I fussy cut them all out and layered them onto the card.  Finally, I created a double layered bow with the same Metal Gray Swiss Dots Grosgrain Ribbon and Lemon Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon.

I hope you enjoy my sun-shiny Thank You card and it inspires you to make something cheerful as well today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Seeing Swiss Dots and Buttons

Hey everyone.  It's Dana here with you today.  I hope you are having a great day.  I'm back to share a card I made using some fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love this primary color ribbon assortment.  It's perfect for spring.

This ribbon worked perfectly with some polka dot buttons I had stashed in my stamp room.  The colors matched perfectly.  I used the ribbon as stripes across my card and the buttons were the perfect embellishment.

All my card needed at this point was a simple sentiment.  I didn't want anything to take away from my ribbon stripes. This was a quick and cute card to put together.  By using different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon the look of this card is endless. I used some 3D foam tabs to pop my panel up on a white card base.

Now it's your turn to head on over to the shop and pick up your fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon and make yourself a striped ribbon card.  We would love to see what you create.  Have a fabulous day everyone.

Hugs,
Dana

50 Shades of Gray RIBBONS

Don't let your mind go there!  I'm talking about RIBBONS, of course.  Who knew that Really Reasonable Ribbon had so many luscious ribbons in gray (or silver, charcoal, and SO much more), and they all blend together SO beautifully.  Just take a look.

I created this card with LOTS of terrific gray ribbons from the shop including their luscious Wide Gray Netting, gorgeous Seam Binding in Charcoal Gray, Delicate Stitched Satin Silver, Striped Grosgrain Gray, Baker's Twine in Oyster, and the beautiful Metallic String in Silver.  But that's not it!  There's more.

Really Reasonable Ribbon carries SO MUCH MORE than just ribbon.  While ribbon is definitely our specialty, we carry so many gorgeous accents for your cards. As you can see from these photos, there are accents PERFECT for every project.  Look at how nicely these embellishments work with the ribbons.  This can be done with any color scheme.  I used the GORGEOUS Open Roses in Black, and the Open Roses in Ivory (I used a spray to make them gray).  These beautiful flowers come in three different sizes, and I used the 10mm and 15mm sized flowers on this card.

You will also notice that I used a new FAVORITE of mine, which are our LOVELY Spiral Stamens.  I used the Wild Orchid Craft Spiral Stamens in Silver.  This particular color is VERY popular, and tends to sell out quickly.  They've been recently restocked, so now is a great time to get some for yourself.  The silver will blend with almost ANY color scheme, but just in case.....they also come in SIX other amazing and vibrant colors.  I really hope you will take time to browse through the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store today, and treat yourself to some of these GORGEOUS products.  You're also warmly welcomed to stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to say hello and take a closer look.  Thanks so much for visiting us today!

Hello Friends!!
Heather here and I hope you are having a fabby day!!

So I am sure I am having a fabby day...lol.

Today I would like to share with you a card that I put together using some of my Easter Digital images and fabulous goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon!!

I used my Bow it all Tool to create my Pink Salmon Seam Binding Bow at the top of my Card.  Tombow Foam Tabs were used to elevate my Large Easter Egg Images and Blue Tag image....which you can find in my Etsy here.  Pink Buttons were tied with Cotton Candy Baker's Twine. I used some lovely little spring colored Mulberry Roses in,Baby Blue Mulberry Roses  Lilac Roses and a Large Pink Wild Rose.  I love the blue leaves :0) (apparently they are out in the store at the moment so just search leaves...and you can see other colors). I just love LEAVES :0)  I also used some bits of Crochet Lace Light Orchid satin and Pink twine.

Here is a look at the card without the fabulous RRR goodies, well I did put the Edna lace on...but you get the idea.

Here is is again, with the hidden tag exposed.  You can see how just adding some fabby ribbons and trims can really make your card!  You can find my Easter tags here.

Close up of the bottom goodies.

 The tag alone.
