All You Need is Love and a Dog

Hello, Ribbon Lovers! Today I have a tutorial for you that will show you how to create a special pet themed birthday card  that is guaranteed to be a hit with all your pet loving friends.

This Jade Double Faced Satin Ribbon is the perfect playmate for Graphic 45's Raining Cats and Dogs  Deluxe Collector's Edition.  I've paired it up with some lovely Natural Burlap String.  I don't know if I could craft without my burlap string!   Of course, I used my wonderful Bow it All Tool to tie all these fluffy bows!

The card folio has a fun gatefold opening.

There's room to write a personal message on each side of the post card.  The center panel lifts to reveal a fun flap/photo mount element.

I created this folio for a very dear friend who is devoted to animal rescue.  I've included photos of her fur babies.

If you'd like to make one of these card folios yourself, I've created a Snapguide Tutorial with step by step instructions, measurements, supply list and tips.  I hope you enjoy!

By The Seashore Card

Hi friends, Linsey here today sharing a pretty beach card that is sure to get you into the summer spirit.
My card features layers and textures galore. I framed the main image of the girl in the sand and the sentiment then softened the edges with sand ink. I wanted this card to have lots of interest and tried to achieve it by adding a variety of delicate accents like the paper doily, cheesecloth, 1/2" Light Blue Wrinkled Ribbon and a bit of random White Crochet Lace scraps. In contrast, I added a couple of buttons tied with Baker's Twine Solid Wheat Color, mini pearls, WOC Sweetheart Blossoms White with Red Center and Turquoise Cherry Blossom. A few Double Head Stamens were also added to the flower/starfish cluster along with a navy blue clothespin. I hope you like my card and feel inspired to get creative with ribbon and trims today too! Thanks so much for stopping by! Until next time, happy crafting! :)

Red, White and Blue Mini Card

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing this sweet little card made using ribbon, lace and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I  LOVE this Poppy Satin Printed Ribbon, it's absolutely gorgeous in person. I also got it in a yellow and blue :)

This card was pretty simple to make. I took a leftover scrap piece of design paper and glued it to the mini card using the Scotch ATG refill tape that Really Reasonable Ribbon carries. Next I added the Sweetheart Blossoms Mini and regular size, along with a red Carnation flower, with Green Leaves.

The Doily I used is from Cheery Lynn Designs and it's a mini doily, so cute! Lastly I made my big bow using the beautiful Poppy Satin Ribbon.  I have to say I LOVE this ribbon along with the Gabrielle lace, as it's one of my favorites.

The Story Starts Here Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty Peeps! Today is the first so you know what that means......I get to share my first project created with the new Ribbon Club Assortment for June.
Isn't this Purple and Pink mix just delightful? It's so happy and cheerful!

I created a card for my first project....
These bows bring a fabulous pop of color to this card.

I was feeling like this card had a lot of rustic charm with the wood grain and doily so I added a nice border of lace and buttons : )

What's better than one bow? Two of course!

Really Reasonable Ribbon~ June Ribbon Club Assortment, Francis White Crocheted Lace, Scotch Advanced Tape Glider Adhesive.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Splendid Seam Binding

Hey there to all our fellow ribbon-loving and coffee-loving friends!  It's Karen Letchworth posting today, and I'd like to share a couple of cards that incorporate two of my favorite things.....coffee and ribbons!   I just can't get enough of either, and while there's never a problem finding my coffee (at home or my local coffee shop) ...... Really Reasonable Ribbon is the best place to find ribbons!
Today I'm sharing two cards with you.  Both were made using a Crate Paper line called Restorations.  It's a very old line that I love, and I scored big time on EBay recently and picked up a bunch of it.  For this first card, I used three different patterned papers on my background that I attached together using an amazing Adhesive called Scor-Tape, which comes in several different widths.  Once I had my base together, I attached some chipboard pieces and stickers from this line, again by using Scor-Tape.  I also added three buttons that have Ivory Burlap String tied in their centers.
I also ran a piece of Natural Crochet Lace across the bottom of my card, and a piece of Danish Blue Seam Binding above that.  I also used the Danish Blue Seam Binding to make that lovely bow.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries 24 vibrant colors of Seam Binding, it costs just 30 cents per yard, and it ties so easily into the most gorgeous bows!  The finishing touches on this card are the stick pin, and the lovely Blue Sweetheart Blossom I placed in the center of my bow.
My second card celebrates my love for coffee along with my love of ribbon, and it uses all the same patterned papers, chipboard and border stickers as the first card.  Again, I attached my patterned papers together using Scor-Tape.  Then, I did some machine stitching, and added a lovely bow using Noble Peacock Seam Binding topped with a Pink Sweetheart Blossom.
The "coffee" sentiment is a die-cut, and I used two doily die-cuts at the top of my card (the larger from Cheery Lynn Designs and the smaller from Papertrey Ink).  I added a Prima ticket from my stash.  That's about it.  I hope you'll stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to check out all the amazing trims,  Seam Binding, the fabulous Mulberry Flowers, and SO much more!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have an amazing day!

Karen

Little Women Layout

Hello ribbon lovers!
I am excited to share one of my newest layouts...
Little Women using beautiful lace, flowers and burlap jute.
I added a bow with the Ivory Burlap Jute - one of my favorites for adding a little dimension.  Next for softness, I added the beautiful Arianna Lace.
For some fun dimension, I added the White Bead Berry Cluster.
Next, I continued to add photos, images, flowers, buttons and stickers to complete this fun and easy layout.  I hope this inspires you to create a layout to capture your memories.
