Pet Sympathy Card

Hello friends.  Today I'm sharing a pet sympathy card I made for a good friend.  It's embellished with some ribbon and baker's twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the digital sentiments and background cut file are from Bonnie Garby Designs

I created a 4-3/4" x 6-1/2" card with a few layers. My digital sentiment from our sister company Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of black Diamond Satin Ribbon topped with yellow Baker's Twine across the center of the card under the sentiment.

The sentiments I used on my card today came from the Loss of Pet Sympathy Sentiments Digital Stamp Bundle. The background for the card was created using the Herringbone Overlay SVG Cut File Bundle.

Our sister company 'Bonnie Garby Designs' is offering a large variety of digital sentiment stamps and svg files.  Below are the bundles I used on my card today.

Sometimes 'less is more' on a card, but you can always squeeze some ribbons and trims on there and this card is nice and flat for easy mailing.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Don't forget to stop by and visit me on my Make Time to Craft Blog too.  Have a crafty week!

Merry Christmas Sleigh

Hello crafty friends and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I have a fun project I designed not only for Really Reasonable Ribbon , but also for my hutch in my kitchen. I love the way it turned out using lots of Really Reasonable Ribbon, some Hot Cocoa, a Gingerbread Spoon, and some of the chocolate marshmallow spoons, and peppermint chocolates.

I used the gorgeous ribbons that are Xmas Traditions

Really Reasonable Ribbon -
all items like sleigh, and chocolate spoons, and gingerbread spoons were bought at Hobby Lobby, the hot cocoa I bought at tjmaxx, and the tags are from AC. I added some holly to my sleigh, and then the little white dew drops are from The Robins Nest Creative.

I do hope you enjoyed my post for today, and I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Sweet Gingerbread

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Cheryl here today with a short post to share as I decorated this darling gingerbread for Really Reasonable Ribbon and the Robins Nest Creative.

So I bought these gingerbreads at Micheals craft store and thought they would be darling done up as a banner or tags for treat tins or boxes to gift. You could also add some paper to the back with journaling or whatever.

Anyways on this one here I created some snowflakes and holly berry using dew drops, super fun! Also used the Gorgeous Gingham Red 3/8" Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and it can be found here , and I used some bakers twine for the hanger and that can be found here

I want to thank you for stopping by and hope you have a lovely day!

hugs to all, Cheryl

Valentines Decorated Mailbox

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I'm sharing a super fun Decorated mailbox I designed for my Granddaughter for Valentines Day. These are so much fun to do. I made 3 and will post the others this week as well.
Mailbox came from Walmart. I bought tons of them. I then decorated the box using design paper, and border punch trim, Really Reasonable Ribbons, and some die cuts, chipboard pieces for the names, embellishments 3-D. I used Scor-Tape to adhere the design paper & Border, then used the foam tabs for the heart die cut on the front and the side. I used hot glue to glue the ribbon around the front door part. Super fun!

On the side I used The Makers Movement heart shaker, the little princess is from Kadoodlebug designs cut on my cricut

Love Notes Candy Mail Box

Hello everyone and happy Thursday to you all! Today I'm sharing this sweet little mail box I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their beautiful satin ribbon. This box was super fun to make, and I'm hoping to have time to make more of this one.
For my Mail Box I used die cuts, and then figured out how big I wanted my base to be. I then scored and cut my paper and did up a templet for that so I have it on hand for future boxes. These would also be cute at Easter time too. It can hold lots of candy kisses. In the photo I have 11 kisses but you could add more if needed.

Next I added some magnets to keep it closed, then a cute 3-D embellishment, and Really Reasonable Ribbons Pink Satin, and Pink Bakers Twine. I also used Scor-Tape in 2 different sizes, and foam square as well. the little Heart embellishment is a 12mm Fish Scale Heart. Lastly I added my bow and little tag. You could also add some love notes to the inside as well. I will add those after.

Christmas tag

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I made a super fun Christmas tag using Really Reasonable Ribbon Club Assortment that was in November . I chose the Sherry Taffeta Ribbon & Merry Christmas on Tan satin . Love how this one turned out.

For my tag I chose some larger die cuts , and did different layers, using foam tabs to give it some dimension. Nest I stamped my sentiment on the oval frame using black ink, and then hot glued the flowers, and bead berry sprays. My bows were done using the Taffeta and Satin, tied together using the stem from the flowers. I love using those to tie my bows. Lastly I added some bakers twine to tie onto my package.

Pastel Birthday Wishes

Hi there ribbon lovers!  Bonnie here today sharing a fun and 'FLAT for mailing' birthday card showcasing a few of the ribbons from the February Ribbon Club Assortment from Really  Reasonable Ribbon.

JOIN TODAY!!
RRR February 2021 Ribbon Club Assortment

The February assortment contains 9 styles and a total of 18 yards of ribbon that are perfect for all your crafting needs.  Each monthly assortment is a color or holiday themed mix.  What a fun way to build your ribbon stash and try new ribbon styles.

Better yet, why not grab the January/February Ribbon Club Special Deal?!
Just $17 for both if you are located in the USA.

I set out with the mindset that I wanted this card to be FLAT for mailing, which is not my typical goal.  I'm more of a thick and dimensional card maker.  But as you can see, you CAN create a flat card and still incorporate lots of pretty ribbons and trims.

For a video tutorial on how I use mulberry paper, please click HERE.

I ran a strip of Blue Topaz Taffeta Ribbon down through the middle of the card under the sentiment and I added some Plum Baker's Twine over it to give it a little texture and depth.  I also folded two pieces of the Purple Plaid Ribbon from the February Ribbon Club Assortment and added them to the sentiment panel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the other products used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.  Have a crafty weekend!

Buzzing Bees, Blooming Flowers and Beautiful Ribbon

Hello, Friends!  Here's a honey of a card to get your weekend started right!  I was first introduced to 5/8" Tan Satin Ribbon with  Grograin Edge in the May Ribbon Club Assortment.  Mark me down as a fan!  This great neutral shade seems to pick up on whatever colors you use it with, and it ties gorgeous bows!   I love the way it took on a honey tone in this bee themed card.

It also looks amazing when paired up with Natural Burlap String, another of my "go to" textiles.

I've used my Zutter Bow-it-All Tool to create some tiny burlap bows beneath these cute wooden buttons, too.

Inside the card, I've create a couple of pockets and filled them with all sorts of goodies.

Pink Baker's Twine makes a great tag topper and picks up on the pink shades in the floral designer papers.

I also stitched up a little bookmark to tuck into the card.  This is topped with Topaz and Light Silver Diamond Grosgrain Ribbon,  I've attached a pretty key with Metallic Iridescent String, too.

Do you ever use ribbon on the insides of your cards?  I think it adds a lovely surprise.

I hope I've shared some tips and ideas that you can use in your next crafty adventure.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,
kathy

Hi all,

I just love the cute Wonky Squares on White Satin Ribbon.  It looks great with this card. I also used the Baker's Twine Green in the black button. I also used the cute little Halloween Too Cute to Spook print on black grosgrain ribbon is adhered in the middle of the card.
Here is the inside of the card. So cute!  I thought this little card was perfect for this inside.
I used the 5/8" Gauze Print Satin Ribbon on the top of the cut apart card
and then used a black button with the Baker's Twine Green
Here is a close up of the bow I created using the

Super Happy Day by Jenn Cochran

Hi to all the Really Reasonable Ribbon friends and fans.  I cannot believe it is the last week of September.  I guess I better get busy on the Halloween costumes.

Today I have a super simple card using three different ribbons from RRR.
I die cut my butterfly, then I added two strips of micro gingham plaid.  It comes in several different colors.
Next I added a double bow made with Shimmer Satin in Aqua and red Bakers Twine.  I tied a bow with the bakers twine first then without taking it off the Bow It All 2.0, I tied a single loop bow with the shimmer satin. I brought the center all the way around the center of the bakers twine.  This secured the two together.
The final touch to this card was adding back the butterfly on top of the patterned paper backing.  I popped out the wings to give a 3D effect.
Thanks for stopping in!  Hope you have a great week.

I made this Easter themed card using Crafty Secrets: Bunny hop Printable Download.  I embellished it with Really Reasonable Ribbon's Denim and Baker's Twine in Blue Solid.
