Merry Christmas!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all having a wonderful weekend.  It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week!  I decided I better get started on some Christmas cards.

This beautiful diamond satin ribbon matches my My Mind's Eye paper perfectly.    This ribbon is so pretty and the diamonds really add some texture.  I cut the poinsetta on my Silhoutte.  You can read more details on my blog

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Turkey Day!

Hey everyone! It's Emily here from Create Serendipity! I have a fun little project to share today! Since Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, I thought I would share a Turkey day project!

Now I rarely make tags, but I recently bought some to play around with my new crafty love... distress stains! I made this little tag just playing around and I think it came together pretty well. I used Natural Jute in the button hole and Bay Leaf Seam Binding for the bow at the top of the tag.

One fun idea that I played around with on this tag was staining my seam binding. I took a Tea Dye distress stain and dabbed my seam binding and sprayed it with water then took my heat gun to it. It gave it the seam binding a really cool vintage look.

Here's a couple of close ups:

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a very fun & festive Thanksgiving!

Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album & Video

Hello everyone.  Cheryl here today with a Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album. YEP you saw correctly, I used leftover rolls from our toilet paper :) and what a perfect way to use them for a mini album.

I decided to take pictures and show a video below so you can see all the room this lil' mini has. I also did not skimp on my ribbons and trim.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the ribbons and trims and laces that Bonnie carries over at Really Reasonable Ribbon and will link them all below for you.
Ribbons supply:
Ribbon Club (some of the silver in it)

I made lots of bows and used a lot of ribbon in this mini, but I really, really had tons of fun with it.  It's the 1st toilet paper mini album I've made.  I will be making more of these.  What wonderful gifts they will make!

I added feathers, pearls, buttons and flowers in my mini. I didn't do any stamping, not sure when I will.  All the tags were cut with my cricut machine using tags, bags, boxes and more, but I'm sure you can find other tags from other sources to use in your mini album.

Hope you enjoy my YouTube video, as I had to video this in my daughters room next door to where I live....hehehehehe No craft room here yet for me. Enjoy!!!

Hope you enjoyed today's post! I can't tell you how fun this was for me to create. I hope you find time to create one too.  Remember they are tiny so they don't take up alot of time, and they are perfect for gift giving.
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Santa's Bringing a Train Load Of Baker's Twine and It MAY Be Coming To YOU!

Hello Really Reasonable Ribbon fans!  Jan here with a "Train Load of Baker's Twine" and you may be the lucky recipient!  I spotted this sweet little train while shopping and fell in love with it.  The little doors open and have been stamped with numbers 1-24 and each contains a sampling of Really Reasonable Bakers Twine!  The original colors were quite bright so I distressed it and gave it a vintage look with mists and some of my favorite Christmas papers. See the little smoke stacks all dressed up in Cherry Baker's Twine?  So, I'll randomly choose one lucky person from the comments here on RRR blog and on my personal blog.  I'll announce the winner here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog on November 27th!  TIS THE SEASON...so be sure to send your friends!

OH!  And have you joined in the CAS (Clean and Simple) Challenge?  We'd love to have you join in on the fun!

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
