Happy Sunday, everyone from all of the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblers! I'm sure you have seen above that Bonnie at Really Reasonable Ribbon has posted a Design Team Call which is open to all of you no matter where you are located. I can assure you that Bonnie is one of the most generous and kind people to play with and there is not another place which has such beautiful ribbons/trims/etc as RRR. So give the posting a look-see and if you are interested give it the old college try!!!
I wanted to show you a couple of cards using very different ribbons to create quite different atmospheres of the cards. Sometimes a particular ribbon or trim can help in setting the ambience that you are trying to establish.
On this first card I wanted to establish the outside, casual feel because of the carefree, cutie image so I went with a 7/8" Yellow Gingham to set the horizontal and to coordinate with the daisy embellies and flowers. You will be amazed at the number of different ginghams available in the RRR shop--from 1/4" to 1.5" and in so many colors that I didn't even bother to count them all!!! There are even ruffled ginghams galore!!! To meet the sketch requirement I also used the Lemon Baker's Twine for the vertical! This twine is so cute and casual on a card and Bonnie has it in 12 colors as well as 2 different assortment sets.
To go with the elegance and softness of this fairy image I selected the most gorgeous 1.25" Light Blue Silk which ties so beautifully, especially using the Bow Easy Tool. You can find this silk ribbon at RRR in 17 lovely colors and some of the colors are also available in the 1/4" size.
Thank you so much for dropping by today and if you want a really fun adventure, have a visit to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop to see all of the old AND new!! I know you won't be disappointed in the variety and quality, and certainly not by the marvelous customer service you will receive!!!
Have a wonderful week!! Hugs from Jacque
