  1. Love the blog hop, love the Christmas ribbons! For holiday cards, it depends: traditional Christmas in red and green would call for gold accents; contemporary Christmas with pinks, purples and blues would call for silver accents.

  2. Wonderful ribbons, as for the accents,it depends on the colors you used in your cards - red and green will like gold, white, blue - silver.

  7. Hiya all you talented ladies :-) I have had so much fun visiting all of you; thanks for all the great projects you are sharing :-)

Over to your Q; on my holiday projects, I think I prefer gold as an accent (but it does depend on the colour of my card, and papers as well, really).

The October ribbon club assortment is absolutely great; I esp like Kerrys work displaying the use of it too :-)

Thanks for inviting me to a fun blog hop; I have enjoyed it immensely !

  16. Great card! The red ribbon really pops nicely on the gold background.
If I am going for traditional colours, then it HAS to be gold ribbons but for the newer, more modern trends, I love silver. But since I am more of a traditionalist, gold would probably win!
Awesome blog hop!!! Loved all the artist's works and their uses of ribbons were so pretty and creative!
    Thanks for sharing! :o)

  19. What a wonderful blog hop, I enjoyed every minute of it :)
I am not sure if I prefer gold over silver or vice versa, I think it depends on the mood that I am in. Gold may perhaps have a bit more uses than silver as it can be easily combined with warm or cold colors, silver is a bit more "cold" wintery stuff. But honestly, I think I decide which one to take after looking at my stash and what's available. I probably would choose ribbon that would match wintery peel-offs which are available in gold and silver.
I must say your red and white twine is super cute, a must have!

  20. omgosh, that is a yummy assortment of ribbon!! i wish i could join every club kit, i'd be in heaven for sure!!!

i prefer silver personally but sometimes gold just fits better on cards. it depends on the gold i think, more of a muted aged copper gold is what i like.

  28. Lovely hop! Did get a lot of inspiration on my way back here!
Silver or gold...hmmm...think I couldn´t do without either colour. Gold for the more traditional cards and I tend to use sparkly silver on my more non-traditional cards with pink or blue.

I'm not sure if silver or gold is my fav... In fact, I use them both on my Christmas projects. I think it depends on what kind of papers and embellies I'm using... ;)
