New Projects to Try!

Hello to RRR blog readers from KT Hom in California! I'm elated to share some projects that were made with supplies from my FAVORITE ribbon company on the planet! First up...try this simple idea using a piece of ribbon (5/8" or wider) along with four 1" color-coordinated squares and some stamping:

The blue grosgrain ribbon can be found HERE and the pink ribbon is a NEW product from RRR that is to die for! It has grosgrain ribbon on the upper half and satin ribbon on the lower half! Check it out HERE.

Now....for a Halloween card idea that will surely make your friends smile...try this:

Adding 5mm googly eyes in the tree branches adds the perfect finishing spooky touch! To find the black dotted organza ribbon for all of your Halloween cards, click HERE. (Note: The cat was made with the Cricut cartridge called Happy Hauntings and the tree stamp is from Stampin' Up's Branch Out set.)

Finally, I have a wonderful ribbon weaving project (with a video tutorial) that will impress your friends and loved ones this holiday season:

When you're first learning this weaving technique, it's best to use 3/8" grosgrain ribbon, then you can try other widths and types of ribbon (like double-sided ribbon) to get a variety of effects. For this project, I used Moss Green grosgrain ribbon with white edge stitching seen HERE and red satin edge ribbon found HERE.
