Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge #160 - Spring/Easter with Ribbon or Trim Theme

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

The theme for Challenge #160 is Spring and/or Easter.
Create a card, layout, multi media piece, tag, ATC, hair bow, you name it. Just be sure to follow the theme above and use ribbon, lace or trim somewhere on your project.

*******************

Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #160 to get you started.  All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

************************

Now, let's see your Spring or Easter creations!
We will be selecting our top three favorite projects to feature, so stop back on April 7th to see our picks along with our next challenge theme.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything you can think of provided it fits the weekly theme.
* You may enter up to 6 projects, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon, lace or trim.
* A maximum of 6 entries per person per challenge please.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR160) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until April 5th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog until you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Winged Fairy Girl Decoration

Hi friends! Linsey here today with a cute mixed media decoration made with buttons, ribbon and paper scraps. I call her my swinging winged fairy girl and here she is...
I strung her from fishing line attached to a White Sheer Organza w/Satin Center double bow for swinging movement. I love this ribbon. It's very inexpensive and super versatile as well as easy to work with.  Some ribbons don't form into a bow as easily as others. This organza ribbon makes a perfect bow every time. So simple and I think it adds a lot to the little piece.  Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you've been inspired. Happy crafting!

Sweet Tulips Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Tuesday to all!  My card for today was created using Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful Taffeta , pearls, and Cabachons. Love working with the Taffeta Ribbon, it's absolutely gorgeous and makes beautiful bows! This is what I call a Clean and Simple card. :)

On my card I chose to use the pretty Blue Topaz Taffeta Ribbon and then the Cabachons for the centers of my bows.  I love how they match perfectly with my card here.

Stamping was all done using Club Scrap Delft Collection, and Copic Markers.

The pearls in the corners are RRR 8mm White Flat Backed Pearls.
It's been a long time since I created my own design paper using stamps, and really love how this one turned out. I wanted to use the same stamp to create my sentiment area as well. But before stamping any sentiment or flowers, I used the mask that came in my Delft Club kit and created a light background for my sentiment. You can see it in the close up above. I used a silver metallic ink pad to do this. Then I stamped my sentiment, and next my flowers. They were colored using 2 blues, and 2 green Copic markers. I had so much fun creating this one!!!

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
