Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings

Now, be sure to leave some love at all the stops along the way. Your comments are most appreciated!

At the end of the hop, comment on this post answering the question below for a chance to win our January Ribbon Club assortment shown below.

Our question of the month is:

What is your top New Year's resolution and how long do they usually last for you?
This is actually funny for me because mine is always to lose weight and get healthier and it usually doesn't last more than 2 weeks.  I have to say if it wasn't freezing outside in the Northeast, it would certainly help the exercise portion last a little longer....
This year my resolution is to find more time for me and stop trying to live up to unrealistic expectations.  I hope to keep that one going all year!

Our winner will be selected from the numbered comments on this post on Monday, 1/19. Be sure to check back on Monday evening to see if you are our lucky winner.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. We hope you'll stop by and so some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon soon.

  1. I made more "paper crafting"resolutions this year then anything, mine as normally the same as yours, lose weight and get healthy, so I decided to nix those and one of mine is to use what I have, how is that working for me...it's not...lol...oh well, it WAS a thought!! Great projects by the DT...I have to leave a couple more comments, seems blogger is having some of it's issues today!

  2. Like all of us I'd, too like to loose weight but we all know how that goes, so for me I think I just need to enjoy my life how it is and not try to be someone else. I enjoy my hobby.....stamping....I'd like to find somewhere locally to maybe sell my cards but it's not a priority. Mostly I make cards for myself then give them away to my friends and family which they seem to like...they actually expect handstamped card sets from me. Good thing I like to make them and have plenty to gift as gift sets.
Always enjoy checking out the projects your team create with all the beautiful ribbons.

  3. To organize my craft room but I never seem to get around to the organizing part - just clear out enough space to craft and make more clutter.

  4. Sweet projects! I liked Jenn and Dana's too, but they only allow Google+ members to comment, so I couldn't tell them so.

I don't make new year's resolutions, but I do make a list of goals for the year and review and revise it periodically throughout the year and again at the end of the year. My top goal is to organize my stamps so I can spend less time hunting for what I want!

  5. Terrific projects, all of them. My resolution is to make more time for me to be creative. I've accumulated quite a stash of materials for that "some day" I'd sit down and use it. Well, this is the year it's going to happen (I hope!)

  6. This year, I tried something new. Instead of "giving up" something for a resolution, which always fails, I resolved to "add" something to my life instead. This year, I added more kindness, more patience, and much more tolerance for everyone around me. o far it's working! Great blog! So much fun! Thanks for sharing!

  7. My resolution/goal this year is to spend less time on the computer and focus more on my health; i.e. cook healthier meals, eat healthier, gentle exercise. I'm doing okay with it - certainly better than last year - but I could do better! Let's just say I'm not giving up yet! I'm taking it day by day! Thanks for a fun blog hop - pink is my favourite colour so I really enjoyed seeing everyone's creations!

  8. My resolution this year is to show more patience with my husband (I am a control freak), and to quit smoking. So far I'm at 13 days... The RRR ribbon is so very beautiful, but then when is is not? Thank you for the hop.

  9. Mine is, like yours, to eat healthier, lose weight, exercise more! I have to say I'm not off to a great start, and that box of See's candy that I got for Christmas has been calling my name.. but I haven't opened it yet!
Gorgeous ribbon collection... love all the pinks and reds for Valentines!

  10. Don't really do resolutions - just try to be a better person, wife, mother, daughter, friend. This blog hop was wonderful! The designers really went all out!

  11. I always start with a resolution to craft something ...however tiny...every day...but usually that dies down to one a week! :)

  13. One of my resolutions is to try and keep my craft room as neat as possible and to also try and use up the paper that I have bought over the past few years! Going to work hard at this, but paper buying is one of my crafting addictions! Love the colors of the ribbons for the Valentine's collection. Thank you.

  16. What wonderful stunning project all of the ladies have made. Of course I love pink :-)
I made a resolution to do the smaller things in life that make me the happiest. Crafting is one of those happy calming things. So I've made extra time to get into y craft room and play daily. Now if I could only stick to the no snacking while crafting resolution:-) I'd be achieveing my two reasoultion this year.
Love this months colors , pink one of my favorites

  19. Realistic resolutions that I pray about usually last. My resolution is to spend all the time I can with my son who will graduate this spring. Not a hard thing to do at all...a true pleasure.

  20. Every year it seems to be the same (just as your).....lose some weight and get healthier. It never lasts at all....mainly because all of the goodies still from Christmas. This year I have added to keep my craft area more organized so I can get more cards done this year. I love the hop. So many talented women on this team. Love all the pinks. Hugs, Robin

  22. I never make resolutions. I figure a goal is something you do for yourself not because of a holiday. I love this month's ribbons. They are all so pretty. I look forward every month to my little package arriving. Edwina Brown

  24. I'd like to lose the last 10-11 pounds between me and my weight loss goal. So far I'm still maintaining what I lost last year but haven't lost any additional pounds. Craft wise, I'd like to make 1-2 Christmas cards per month so that next Christmas I'm not scrambling for handmade cards for family and close friends. My goals don't usually last too long but I think this year they're pretty reasonable so I'm hoping for success. :)

  25. I don't normally do New Years Resolutions...failure is such a depressing thing!
I do have a couple of goals I'd like to achieve though...1. I want to play with paints this year (so far so good...started a journal and made a couple of canvas's). 2. Make some extra cards and maybe sell them (not so good yet...still hopeful). 3. Most importantly I hope to keep on track with my healthy living & weight loss! (Doing well..started this one in June and lost 20lbs so far with any luck by next June I'll lose at least another 10 although another 20 would be good too!)
    Happy New Year!!!

    1. I completed the hop, but something is wrong on Dana Joy's blog, and I couldn't leave a message no matter what I tried! Everyone did such a fabulous job. My absolute faves were Karen and Cherry, but they were all GORGEOUS!! Thanks so much for another great hop and more fabulous ribbons to drool over!

  28. First, the ribbons this month are beautiful and all the projects on the hop really showed them off well. Great job ladies!
My resolution is to find a way to get my digis organized. I don' t often make resolutions, but they usually last a few months. Then I start to get a bit lax.
