At the end of the hop, comment on this post answering the question below for a chance to win our May and June Ribbon Club assortments shown below.

Our question of the month is:
When did you start crafting and do you stick with one craft or do you like to change it up and do a variety of different things?

I have been crafting since before I understood what the word meant.  I started with coloring, weaving pot holders and making God's eyes (remember them) and macrame in the '70's.  Then rug hooking, crochet, knitting, sewing, papercrafting, beadwork, stained glass, etc, etc, etc.  If only there was more time in a day!!

Our winner will be selected from the numbered comments on this post on Friday, 6/17. Be sure to check back on Friday evening to see if you are our lucky winner.

Thanks so much for hopping with us today. We hope you'll stop by and so some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon soon.

  1. Enjoyed hop creations. To answer question I started crafting 20+ yrs ago but only got into papercrafting 5+ yrs ago. I challenge myself and change things up a bit using Cricut images, stamps, dies, embossing and adding ribbons, twine or string. Have a Bee-utiful day!

  8. great projects. love these ribbons. I started similar to you. my mother's only craft / skill was coloring. I on the other hand didn't so well staying in the lines. I have dabbled in many and have been settled primarily on cards for a decade or so.

  9. What great projects! I loved seeing the sheer dots over the orange and yellow... so pretty!!
I started crafting when I was little, but didn't get serious until I became disabled. I love to switch it up and go wherever the whim takes me, but I mostly do thank you cards for friends as they do so much for me.

  10. First of all this was an awesome hop well done ladies! I started crafting as a young girl. I especially loved being in the Scouts because we did all types of crafts so I was exposed to a variety of crafts. I do love paper crafting these days and I have taught classes on showing how to craft with stamps, inks, cs, embellies, etc. Even though I try to find time for a variety of crafting, paper carafting more specifically card making is my first love ❤️

  11. My grandmother taught me to crochet and knit as a young girl and my mom always embroidered designs on our dresses so I embroidered as a teenager. After getting married, my career took center stage except for times when my daughter and I took needlecraft classes together. When I retired back in 1996, we moved to Idaho and a neighbor was passionate about photo books all decorated with stamped images and many elements. This pushed me to make a family cook book for each of our girls with family recipes. When an acquaintance moved to Boise, she was an avid stamper and was booked to teach a class at the local stamp store. Being new to the area I thought I should support her and signed up for the class. She later invited me to her home, sharing her stamps and numerous cards. THAT WAS IT! I had to purchase stamps and one thing lead to another; mixed media, altered books, ATC and card swaps. My current goal is a personal art journal which I started as a 2016 News Year resolution. I am enjoying it immensely; you can do whatever you like, with no rules. Ribbons, stamps, stencils, paints and other elements make it UNIQUE. An artist once said that each of us are unique in our interpretation of art. My journal cover reads UNIQUE.
Thanks to Bonnie and the Design Team for the inspiration on a daily basis. My cards look unfinished without a fancy bow.

  13. My mother taught me how to crochet and knit, then when she started cross stitch so did I. I didn't start any paper crafting until a little before my daughter was born 14 years ago. I could open a store with all the different craft supplies.

  14. Everyone of the designers did a wonderful job with all their creations. I thoroughly enjoyed going through and looking at all of them. I have been crafting for most of my life. I've always been into art of some sort. I learned how to crochet at a very young age, and that just lead to other things.

  15. Gorgeous collection. LOVE these colors!!

As for crafting....I have always loved crafting of one sort or another since I was little. I don't think I have ever stuck to just one thing, LOL. Everything from sewing and needlepoint to paper crafting and coloring/painting...I love it all ♥

  16. Fun hop! I enjoyed seeing all the pretty creations with this lovely assortment of ribbons!
I have tried several different crafts over the years.... weaving, sewing, stained glass, needlework, etc! But paper arts is something that has held my interest since 1988!

  17. I started crafting as a young girl. From painting, to clay molding
pottery, drawing, paper Mache flowers, etc. I was in Girl Scouts and we did lots of projects. I became a Girl Scout leader for my daughters and tried to find new and fun projects to do. I got into scrapbooking in 1995 and started making cards in 2010. I like to do different things, but mostly card making and scrapbooking.
