Well, it's the day of the week that we all look forward too, NOT! Monday, but I hope to brighten the day by sharing a page with some beautiful ribbon! I don't know about you, but I have a few color combinations that I seem to gravitate toward. Blue and Brown, Pink and Black and of course Black and Red. So I thought I would use the gorgeous black satin ribbon and some of the red from the Ribbon Club assortment of the month.
This is a picture of our daughter and I loved the contrast of the black dress and the bright red lipstick!! She models for PinUpsForSoldiers.org and this was during a calendar signing. I added some mixed blooms and a few little butterflies and the page was done. This was a really simple page, but has an elegant look to it. I think the color combo does it!!!
I made a double bow from the red and black ribbon and put one of the butterflies right on top of the bow.
This just shows the double bow from another angle. By placing the butterfly on top it covers the bulky part where the bows are tied together.
This just shows the single pieces of ribbon that go up the side. I just clustered the blooms and the bow together with a couple of chippie pieces.
Maybe this will inspire you to go back to your favorite color combo and pull out some coordinating ribbon and start playing!!! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what we have to inspire you!!! Thanks for dropping by!
