Valentine Coffee Anyone?

It's Teresa here on this amazing Tuesday morning to share with you something fun that I did with a customizable hot beverage mug.  I found this at a local store and thought how fun this would be to customize the inside for Valentines.  I did them at the store once with neat coffee and hot chocolate designs but today I used fun Valentine papers with lace and ribbons to decorate it.

The papers I used are from a Valentine paper pad by K & Co and the ribbons are from the
Monthly Kit Club Assortment this month called Love is in the air.  And just a bit of pink gingham ribbon that I had in my RRR stash for this month.  I adore all these pinks and reds.... they are just gorgeous!

To make this project you will need to get one of these hot beverage mugs that you can change the liners with.  Inside of the mug there is a pattern that you can use to cut your paper with.  Then all you have to do is decorate the piece and slide it back inside the mug.  I cut one piece with the red heart paper and then I cut another for the band in the center and glued it down.  Then I measured out 2 pieces of lace to fit and glued those on both ends.  To finish it, I tied cute bows with both the pink satin ribbon and the pink check ribbon and attached them onto the handle.  Inside I am going to put some pink tissue with candy and a gift card for Starbucks.  How is that for a fun gift for Valentines?

Here is a close up of the inside of the mug.  I love these because they are quick and easy to make.
Thanks so much for stopping over and if you have any questions be sure and leave one for me and I would be happy to answer back to help any way I can.  Have a really nice day.....
