Carrot Ornament/ Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone and happy Monday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun little Carrot ornament I decorated using Really Reasonable Ribbons Seam Binding.

So I started with these carrot chipboard shaped ornaments that I bought at the dollar store, and knew instantly what I wanted to do with them. I came home and covered all 10 with design paper, and then sanded the edges and distressed with an orange ink, and vintage photo ink. Next I picked out my seam binding and started ruching it up, and cutting it into pieces, and then hot glued it to the top of the carrot for the greenery part I chose the Bay Leaf color. I then used some of RRR twine for the bow, and the little embellishment for the center. Love how these turned out and can't wait to finish them all for my tree for Easter.

Thank you so very much for stopping by and have a lovely day! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Hello Valentine

Hi friends!  It's your friend Karen here today.  Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and I've got a few special cards ready for some loved ones.  It's always a fun occasion to send little love notes to tell others how much you love and care about them.  Really Reasonable Ribbon always has the perfect ribbons, trims and twines to accent every card with the perfect colors, widths, textures and designs.  This card is pure love.
I used black cardstock layered with white cardstock and then a layer of pink gingham patterned paper; and each one was cut using a Rectangle Pierced Die Set.  I used a FUN new Fringe Heart Dies from Pretty Pink Posh to create the heart.  Rather than using the Fringe Heart Dies to cut from just paper, I used them to cut through various ribbons/trims including Rose Petal Seam Binding (bottom), Medium Pink Gingham Ribbon (middle) and 1.5" Pink Netting (top).  I tied a length of Solid Black Baker's Twine around the middle of the heart.
I cut a second heart using more of the pretty Medium Pink Gingham Ribbon.  I also added some 11mm White Heart Shaped Flatback Embellishments.  It's FUN using ribbons when cutting with die-cuts; and Really Reasonable Ribbon truly is the number ONE place to find ribbons, trims, twines, laces and SO many other wonderful goodies to use in crafting and card-making.  I added a bit more of the 1.5" Pink Netting and a length of Pink & Cream Striped Grosgrain Ribbon underneath the decorative heart.
The darling sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs from the Be My Valentine 2 Stamp Set.  Everything is held securely in place with a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  This Adhesive is awesome because it works so well, and it comes in various widths to accommodate each trim or paper based on the size needed.  I think I covered everything I used; but if not, feel free to ask me any questions you might have.  Really Reasonable Ribbon carries so many great trims and products to help you create lovely cards and art projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit us.  We hope that you'll check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for lots of great inspiration, and of course, for our monthly Blog Hops starting on the 13th of each month.  Check out Really Reasonable Ribbon and Bonnie Garby Designs; and be sure to treat yourself, friends.  You deserve it, and you'll LOVE it.  Happy Valentine's Day to you all.

Blessings,

Valentines Candy Jar with RRR

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Thursday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun Valentines Candy jar I decorated using the beautiful Ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

So for my jar I picked a couple of these up from Walmart to use on my hutch in my kitchen, and thought these would be perfect to use really reasonable ribbon on. For my ribbon choices I chose the delicate stitched satin in red, and then I used the satin Swiss dots in black-and-white. Next I hot glued the Swiss around the bottom of the lid, and made a bow for the top. I also used the Delicate Stitched for a bow as well. Lastly I added a puffy heart from my stash and hot glued another heart on top.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Today I am sharing another girlie 'Galentine's Day' card.  You know I love flowery girly cards, and they are just perfect for a friend, right?!

I embellished the card with some pretty ribbons and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon

My digital sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs is my main focal point.  I ran a piece of hot pink Diamond Satin Ribbon across the middle of the card topped with Mixed Pink Diamond Print Grosgrain Ribbon across the center of the card.  I topped it off with a pretty bi-color double loop bow and below the sentiment I have added some pretty 15 and 20mm 2-Tone White with Baby Pink Center Open Roses.

The sentiment on the front of my card is from my Be My Valentine 2 Digi Stamp Bundle. The interior Sentiment is from the Valentine Sentiments for Friends for the Inside Digital Stamp Bundle. Of course I cut the spool out using some darling valentines design papers from Echo park, and then decorated the top corner with the Beautiful Delicate stitched satin ribbons in red and pink. I also added some of RRR flowers too, and a couple of embellishments. the ribbon on this is an older RRR that I had that I wanted to display in one of my large jars. Super fun!

Con~Quackulations! Note Card

Hello Really Reasonable Ribbon Lovers...and Happy Friday to Y'all!

Misty (@Mommyofkidz) here today sharing a super quick little notecard with you.

Have you ever taken a cruise on a Carnival cruise ship? If you have, then you may be familiar with the "Carnival Cruisin' Ducks"game.  Everywhere you go on the ship, you may find a duck that has been hidden by another cruiser.  Basically, it is a real live Duck Hunt...but with toys.  My notecard today is inspired by my most recent cruise...which I just got home from a few hours ago!!!

Usually I have found larger toys, maybe 2 inches in size.  They are easy to spot and easy to re-hide.

This tiny little ducky, however, was NOT at all easy to spot! As a matter of fact, I completely missed him and my friend picked him up and gave him to me.  He was the cutest little thing, so I kept him rather than re-hide.

Normally the ducks have little tags attached with information letting you know who had hidden it, but this one was so tiny and there was not a tag at all.  Of course, the crafty side of me began thinking on how to hide these tiny little duckies, but still have a tag.

Most of the ducks have tags similar to this one...

This one was too tiny...but then it hit me... A tiny notecard!!

When I got home, I puled out my crafty supplies and I set to work!

A simple 3x3 notecard was going to be perfect...but I wanted it to be cute, too.

Some Gingham Ribbons would be perfect! For this, I decided to use

3/16" Plaid Ribbon Assortment  (yellow)

but you could also order the two assortment packs and have lots of the gorgeous plaids to work with and make tons of these tiny notecards!

Once everything was glued in place, I added the tiny resin heart mixed in with my resin beads that I used for the bubbles.

Of course, for the purpose of hiding on the cruise ship,
All of my information that I wanted to share is on the inside of the card.
Now, this tiny ducky his can be tucked pretty much anywhere on the ship, and the finder can let me know!!!

As you can see, I went WAY overboard (no pun intended!) on this.
Not many people would spend this kind of time making a tag for a duck to hide on a ship.
However, this is also perfect for a baby shower note card, a baby's first birthday, or anything else..

I was thinking of doing one with the tag...
I Ducking LOVE you! (Ha Ha!)
I Quack Myelf up!!

Perfect for an off beat Valentine's Day Card!
Just change out the sentiment on the tag and DONE!
I honestly had a lot of fun making this little note card!
I hope that I have inspired you to get crafty this weekend...If you do, I would love to see what you create!
Tag me on IG @Mommyofkidz!
And if I am honest, I think I will make a few more of these for the young ladies that I know that have babies on the way while I am making some for my next cruise!
Head on over to Really Reasonable Ribbon and grab the Perfect ribbons for your next project!

Thank you for stopping by, have a WONDERFULLY CRAFTY Weekend!

Love You

Hi friends, it's Karen posting today.  I'm so glad you're here and I hope this inspires you.  I'm sharing a cute little cross-stitch card that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using some of their fabulous products.  I absolutely love all the wonderful trims and twines they carry - among so many other amazing things.  This card was fun to make, and I'm always super grateful to know that Really Reasonable Ribbon will always have the AdhesivesEmbellishments and trims to help me create wonderful things.
I used cream cardstock and some sweet Crate Paper patterned papers from my stash.  I machine stitched them together.  The tag I used to do my cross-stitching is actually a piece of packaging from a super old October Afternoon ephemera.  It's sort of a cardboard piece.  I cut that with a cross-stitch tag die, and I used a free cross-stitch pattern that I found on Pinterest.  Once that was done, I attached a length of Striped Grey Grosgrain Ribbon and a length of Medium Pink Plaid Gingham Ribbon into the loop of my card.
I added a piece of Oyster Grey Baker's TwineSolid Light Pink and Solid Hot Pink Baker's Twine to the top of my tag.  On the back of the tag, I secured everything with Scor-Tape to hold it securely in place.  I absolutely LOVE this fabulous Adhesive.  On top of the ribbons, I added two pretty Mulberry Leaves and a Pink Trellis Rose.  A few sequins were the finishing touch.
Thanks again for visiting today.  Be sure to check out the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great inspiration and ideas for using RIBBONS and other products carried at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Also, don't forget to join us on the 13th of every month for our FUN Blog Hops where you can WIN prizes.  We always enjoy having you stop by, and we all wish you a wonderfully creative week.

Blessings,
Karen
