Magical Midnight Tales Halloween Card

Magical Midnight Tales Halloween Card by Kathy Clement PHoto 01

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Halloween is creeping up on us, isn't it?  Time to share some too cute to spook cards embellished with beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon!

I love to create layered ribbon borders on my cards.  For this 6" x 6" top fold card, layer  the Halloween Cats and Black Delicate Stitched Satin ribbons from the September Ribbon Club at the top of the card.

Use your Zutter-Bow-it-All Tool to tie a double loop Halloween Cat bow.  Then add just the right amount of shimmer with Silver Metallic String

Here's a peek at the finished interior.  Such fun colors and images are really too cute to spook!

Give Thanks Pumpkin Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super sweet pumpkin card I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon and My Makers Movement using this darling pumpkin card die, and Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For my card today I chose to use this new pumpkin card die. I absolutely love working with this die, and it all came together really easy. First I cut out all my pieces in different color card stock, and distressed them.  For the sunflower, I did the glass technique that I have on my blog under Tutorials Here. Once I had my card put together, I added my beautiful Plaid Ribbon bow, then added the Tobacco Brown Seam Binding ruched up for the center of my sunflower, and hot glued it to the center, and a brown old button too.

You Are a Blessing

Welcome by today, everyone.  It's Karen here sharing an Autumn card - even though it's still very hot here in the desert where I live.  I'm very much looking forward to the cooler weather when I can wear my warm sweaters, cute boots and scarves; and not have to worry about my hot flashes.  LOL  Even though it's still warm here, it really is Autumn, so that's what I'm sharing today.
As you would guess from the name, Really Reasonable Ribbon carries OODLES of gorgeous ribbons, laces, trims and twines of all sorts at great pries.  That's a given - and WOW, do they ever do a good job of it.  You'll find every style ribbon in every color, texture, width and design you can image.  However, did you know that RRR also carries awesome items such as Adhesives, Hair AccessoriesMulberry FlowersEmbellishments and more?  They have a bit of everything, and I do hope you will stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store to see it all (and do some shopping).
As is normally the case when I start making a card, there's A LOT going on here.  This card started with a black cardstock base to which I added a piece of burnt orange corrugated cardboard and a piece of October Afternoon patterned paper.  I machine stitched together these three mediums to create my base.  I added some ephemera by way of a travel ticket, small Prima ticket, washi tapes, etc.  The sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I ran a width of Burnt Rust Seam Binding across my card, and I used another piece of that along with a piece of Black Seam Binding to create my bow.  Well, we all know that I didn't stop there.  I also tucked in some bundled Light Blue Burlap String as well as several Miniature Double Head Stamens, two Sweetheart Blossoms, and a Rusty Paper Clip that holds a small tag.  On the small ticket, I also added a Rhinestone Embellishment.
Oh, my heart!  I almost forgot to mention......be sure to mark your calendar so that you don't miss this month's RRR Blog Hop.  As always, it starts on the 13th of the month; and one lucky person will WIN the December Ribbon Club Assortment.  AND....(shhh...it's a secret, but.....) it's a gorgeous Christmas themed assortment - SO pretty. Thanks for visiting us today, and we hope to see you again soon (and then again on the 13th for sure).  Have a ribbon-topped creative day, creative friends.

Blessings,
Karen

Spooky Slimline Halloween Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps. Ginny here with some spooktacular inspiration.

I am bewitched by this sweet little Halloween friend. Did you see what I did there? Bewitched?

This is the A Little Scary collection from Fancy Pants Designs. I picked up the ephemera pack along with the paper pad and had so much fun layering up all the festive images.

The slimline profile is great for adding an extra large arrangement of made by me flowers.

The wrinkle ribbon coordinates perfectly and helps to fill in and anchor this corner.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : )

Apple Pickin' Time Home Décor Banner

Really Reasonable Ribbon Sherry/Ivory Plaid Ribbon by Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Oh, it's apple pickin' time, and I could not be happier if I tried! To celebrate, I made an apple themed home décor banner with Really Reasonable Ribbon trims.

Apple Pickin' Home Decor Banner for Really Reasonable Ribbon by Kathy Clement

Each pennant is machine stitched between layers of  Rust Silky Crush Ribbon and Crochet Lace Trim

TIP: Machine stitch along both the top and the bottom edge of the ribbon.  This extra step helps the banner to hang neatly.

Tie Sherry/Ivory Plaid ribbon in square knots between each banner pennant then top with a button.

Natural Burlap String mimics the feel of fall leaves.  Tie little bows with it and tuck it into your flower clusters to add extra texture.

Die cut leaves and velvet flowers add even more layers of texture and dimension to the design.

Do you go apple picking where you live?  We have to drive into the mountains to find apple orchards here.  But growing up in New England, the month of September was apple season.  We all trekked out to the local orchards and picked big bushel baskets filled with rosy red apples.  Mmmm...now I want an apple pie!

Thanks for stopping by!

Friendship Card

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful satin, blue flowers, and embellishments they carry in the shop.
My card measures 6" x 6" and I used K & Company design paper. I did three layers of the design paper, and then added a doily, and shaped die cut, plus the circle with the sentiment. Love this design paper and love all the flowers, and ribbon, they all just seem to go together perfectly.  I also added some of RRR flower embellishments.  I love adding these to the corners of the layers. I hope you like my card for today, as I loved designing it to share.

Be Still And Know

Hello, friends!  Today it's me, Karen, sharing a card I created using some of the amazing trims and goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  At Really Reasonable Ribbon, you can always count on finding the perfect trim, ribbon, lace, twine, etc. for any card or project.  You can also find an amazing assortment of flowers, embellishments, adhesives and SO much more because RRR carries many products that we all use on a regular basis.  In addition, they offer very affordable shipping costs and awesome customer service.
This card started with some cardstocks and pretty patterned paper scraps that I machine stitched together in black thread.  I inked the edges of everything with ink.  It's a very simple card, really.  Per my usual, I used several layers of cardstocks and patterned papers which are secured together using pieces of Scor-Tape.  I use Scor-Tape on pretty  much everything because it holds....like forever.
There's a piece of Chunky Bold Back/White Gingham Ribbon across my card, and a bow that tied with a length of that, some Solid Turquoise Baker's TwineDouble Head Stamens, and an Apple Blossom Flower in the center.  There are SO many gorgeous trims, flowers and accents to make your cards and projects extra sweet.  I also love that RRR carries such a wide variety of colors and widths in most every trim they sell.  Selection!  That's the word I was thinking about...selection galore.  Thanks again for stopping by today.  We really do hope that next time you need any sort of ribbon or trim, you'll always think of Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And don't forget that they carry SO much more than the ribbons.  You're always sure to find something extra special at RRR and loads of inspiration on the RRR Blog.

Blessings,
Karen

Life Is Good All Occasion Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share an all occasion greeting created with my favorite RRR trims.

Is there anything more summery than black and white check and lemons? It's just so bright and cheerful!
I chose to use a black matting for the border to keep the layers from looking too busy and a pretty gold doily to add a little refinement.

I'm combining some ready made with made by me flower to create this generously sized arrangement and finishing it off with the Bold Check ribbon, netting, and Burlap String.
