Best Wishes

Hello, again everyone! It is Gloria with you again! I had a bit of fun with the hot, tropical, June Ribbon Club - Jungle Fun Assortment!

I was going to put this ribbon assortment away, but then I decided that I would make one more card with it before I moved on to the July Ribbon Club. I had a few short bits of the Watermelon Delicate Stitched Satin and the Toucan on White Satin that were not long enough to make a bow, but too long to feel good about tossing in the trash. I really don't like keeping every bit and scrap because I have so much ribbon! But I do hate to toss those 6"-10" bits!

I also had on my desk two cards that I had made a long time ago using some paper strips. I thought...hey, why not remake one of those cards, but using ribbon instead of strips of paper?!?

I created a 5" x 6" card from black cardstock. Then, I cut a piece of kraft cardstock to slightly smaller than 5" x 5" and added some Scor-tape to the back so that I could wrap short lengths of ribbon around the cardstock panel and secure them. I just alternated the ribbons: Watermelon Delicate Stitched Satin, Toucan on White Satin, Turftan Taffeta, Iguana on Branch White SatinWatermelon Delicate Stitched Satin, Yellow Gold PlaidToucan on White Satin, and Moss Plaid. (And I wish I had eliminated the brown ribbon, but, oh well.)

Once all the ribbon was attached, I added more Scor-tape and attached the whole panel to the card front. I then cut another piece of the kraft cardstock to slightly smaller than 1" x 5" and stamped the sentiment with black ink onto the left edge.
I created a bow from the Moss Plaid and added lots of flowers (see list of flowers below). The leaves are hand colored with water-based markers! I used the White Paper Leaves and colorized them! To color the leaves, I first spritzed each leaf with a bit of water. Then I scribbled on them with various water markers. Once I had lots of color, I used a water brush to smoosh the color around. I dried the leaves with a heat tool.
I finished the card by adding a few enamel dots here and there. I think this a great way to use leftover bits of ribbon!

Cake Celebration Slimline Card

Slimline Birthday Celebration Card with Really Reasonable Ribbon by Kathy Clement
Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  The best part about birthdays is the cake!  Especially when you dress the cake up with pretty Island Blue Diamond Satin Ribbon, White Chrysanthemums, Cosmos Daisies and Pink Cottage Roses from Really Reasonable Ribbon!

I was introduced to Island Blue Diamond Satin Ribbon in the June 2022 Ribbon Club Assortment.  This bold, cheerful ribbon was the perfect shade of blue to add a pop of color to this slimline birthday card. I like to use 1/2" Scor-Tape to secure my ribbon to the card base because it really holds everything fast.  It also makes a beautiful border along the bottom edge of the card front.  A touch of Iridescent Metallic String adds just the right amount of shimmer and shine to this bodacious bow cluster!

Here's a quick peek at the inside of this cheery card.  There's a pocket inside the little card insert so you can easily add a gift card here.

I hope you all have a joyful and creative day!

A Sweet Thank You

The thing I love SO MUCH about Really Reasonable Ribbon is that I can always count on them to have the perfect trims, ribbons, twine, flowers and lovelies to adorn all my art projects.  It doesn't matter what I'm working on; Really Reasonable Ribbon will always have the most perfect products to help me make something pretty and creative.
This sweet little thank you card started with a piece of corrugated cardboard.  I used the Crimped Frames Dies from The Greetery to cut my pieces.  The (thanks) sentiment is a die-cut from Poppy Stamps that I cut from the back side of the corrugated cardboard so that it would match.  The one piece I cut is kraft tissue paper.  I ran a cute border sticker and a piece of Rosemary Crochet Lace across my card, and I attached a m iniature paperclip.
I bundled up some Green Burlap String and placed it in the lower left corner of my card that I topped with several pretty Double Head Stamens and a few Miniature Pastel Sweetheart Blossoms.  The heart was cut from wool felt using a heart die from PTI that I hand-stitched with DMC floss.
There are so many beautiful things waiting for you at Really Reasonable Ribbon that will allow you add fabulous new textures and dimensions to your cards and projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by today and be sure to visit us here often for lots of great inspiration and information about special sales and promotions.  Happy crafting.....wrapped in ribbons and lace!

Blessings,
Karen

I Like You a Latte Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with a card I created with trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I recently picked up a new die set and I've been having loads of fun creating cards with different themes. You might think of these cups for use on holiday cards ( and I have made those as well) but they are perfect for every day occasions.

I chose some perfectly coordinating trims to coordinate with the papers and die cuts.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello, again Ribbon Friends! I am back with a few cards. This time I have two simple, masculine cards to share!

I do not like to add bows or flowers to masculine cards because I don't have any men in my life that appreciate the "frou-frou frilly" type cards! {smile} So, adding ribbon and trims to masculine cards is really difficult for me!

I sorted through my paper stash and my ribbon stash, and came up with this card, which measures 6" x 5". I love the gray tones of the Authentique Mister paper. I have a lot of the Plaid Gray ribbon, so I used some of that for this card.
I wrapped the brick panel with a strip of the ribbon, then I added a little "tab" of ribbon to the right side of the sentiment panel. I tied a bit of  Natural Burlap String to a metal button and glued the button to the ribbon tab. Not a frou-frou or frill in sight!
The second card is a standard A2 size (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") using the same paper collection. The collection has some rust colors in it, which I also love!
This time I wrapped a length of  Copper and Cream Plaid around the paper to hide the seam between the two paper prints. (I used the 5/8" ribbon, which is out of stock, but the 3/8" is still available.) I added a skinny sentiment and a large, metal button to the top of the ribbon. I tied Natural Burlap String to the button.
I hope you are inspired to use a little ribbon and whip up a few Father's Day cards for the dads in your life!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Summer Teacup Party in a Box Card

Lemoncraft Raspberry Garden Teacup Party in a Box Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon
Hello, Friends!  Care to join me for a cup of Raspberry tea?  Summer is almost here, and that means the raspberry bushes are probably in bloom.  I'm welcoming the season with elegant Coral Rose Checkerboard Satin Ribbon from the June Ribbon Club Assortment. I love the soft sheen that this ribbon brings to a project.  The subtle texture is wonderful as well.  And, as a bonus, this ribbon ties beautiful soft bows that work great on a romantic project like this one.

TIP: Don't forget to add flowers!  White Chrysanthemums and Mixed Pink Roses are a lovely choice from the RRR shop.

I created a box pocket inside this easel card.  Then I added in a bunch of little treats to turn it into a Tea Party in a Box.  These make the best birthday gifts!

Wishing you all a joyful and creative day!

Sweet Bee " I love you"

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday to you all! Today I have this darling gnome SVG I put together, and used for my post today for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I absolutely love making these darling bee gnomes, and using them on my memorydex spinner, as I get to see them all daily. Love that! So for this one here, I did use RRR Flowers, ribbon, and foam squares along with some scor-tape all will be linked below for easy finding.

Recipe for my memorydex:
the Memorydex die cut is from Amazon, and I cut it using some black card stock from papertemptress, then added some white paint dots. Next I layered using the darling bee paper from Echo Park Oh Happy day design paper. Love how cute it is. I then decided to use a stamp (i love you)and die set from Mymakersmovement, and added some dots to it. The bee gnome was already put together and ready to go, so I grabbed him to use. I did however make his antennae's and added black dew drops from The Robins Nest. Next I added some greenery and that way I could layout all my flowers for placement. I used Rose buds, sweetheart blossoms, carnations, Mini sweetheart blossoms, Open rose, and then an old aster daisy that I had in my bag of random flowers.

All my layers are popped using the foam tabs from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Love these as you can do lots of layers and they are thinner tabs. Lastly I added my ribbon bow to his hat, yes a ribbon bow on my gnome...hehehehe and then added my dew drops using hot glue.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies:

other supplies:
memorydex die for the base and layer/amazon, white gel pen, svg file, the robins nest dew drops, stamp and die my makers movement, hot glue, echo park design paper, papertemptress card stock, greenery, wire, cricut, bee gnome svg, stickles.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs ,
Cheryl

Celebrate the 4th of July w/RRR

Hello, creative friends, and welcome by the RRR Blog today as I share a cute little patriotic card that features some awesome products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  No matter what I'm making, no matter what colors or themes I incorporate, I can ALWAYS count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect ribbons, twines, trims and goodies to adorn my art.  They really have it ALL.
This quick little card started with some black and white cardstocks that I attached together with Scor-Tape.  I pressure embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and I also used Tim Holtz Distress Ink on that to create my background.  I used a cute circle die from Poppy Stamps to cut some patterned paper circles.  I also cut one extra circle in white, and I used a Stamp Simply stamp set for the sentiment.
At the bottom of my card, I ran a length of Red Wrinkle Ribbon and used that to tie a pretty bow that I topped with a White Magnolia Flower.  I tucked in some Red Double Head StamensMilk White Double Head Stamens, and Lake Blue Double Head Stamens.  I just LOVE all the texture and color that these items add to my card.  They're FUN.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  There's always lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, so be sure to stop by often.  Oh, and don't forget to join us on the 13th for our monthly Blog Hop.  Have a great week, everyone.

Blessings,
Karen

I created a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" top fold card created with my usual layered look. My digital sentiment is my main focal point, and I added a layered strip of ribbon under the sentiment.  This is a great way to add ribbon and still keep the card perfectly flat for mailing.

For a video tutorial on how I use mulberry paper, please click HERE.

I always manage to sneak some mulberry paper in there somewhere!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on the background cutting file or the digital sentiment, please be sure to visit me on my Make Time to Craft Blog too.  Have a crafty week!
