The Will of God Card by Cheryl

Hello Ribbon Lovers and Happy Friday to you all! Today I have a super sweet card I designed using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Seam Binding, Flowers, and Adhesives. I love working with RRR Seam Binding as it's so much fun. I love ruching it up and using it in different ways. Today I have ruched up the absolutely gorgeous Sweet Grape Seam Binding.  I hope you enjoy my post for today.

On my card for today I used several layers.  Of course by now you know me and my layers, never just one or two....hehehehe.  I have been pulling out some of my old sentiment stamps, trying to use them as they've been put away for far too long. Anyway, this one is one of my many favorites.  I stamped it in black ink, and then distressed around the edges with a purple ink. Next I picked some of the beautiful flowers that Really Reasonable Ribbon carries and hot glued them on, over my ruched up seam binding. I love how it turned out for today. I also chose to add one of the heart embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I added some die cut swirls for the flowers.  Lastly I added crystal dots to each of the corners of my card.

Choose Happy Farmhouse Garden Slimline Shaker Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

Today we're going to take a stroll through a pretty Farmhouse Garden where bees and butterflies are buzzing, flowers are growing, and life is calm and peaceful!  Sound good to you?

The June 2021 Ribbon Club Assortment is a perfect playmate for these Farmhouse Garden Papers.  I've created borders and bows with Tropic Diamond Satin Ribbon and Tropic Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon. Scor-Tape makes it so easy to layer these ribbons onto a card!

A bit of Black Baker's Twine helps to anchor this bow cluster and keeps all these shades of aqua in line.

These black buttons positively pop off the page thanks to the Tropic Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon border.

Because this is a tea party in a box, I've wrapped the 3/4" spine with more of the Diamond Satin Ribbon.  It adds so much texture and subtle pattern to the inside of the card!

I've even used bits of leftover ribbon to dress up my gift wrapped treats!  It's always amazing to see how ribbon adds elegance and style where ever it is put to use!

I hope I've shared some tips and tricks with ribbon that you will be able to use.  Thanks for stopping by!

Good Times

Hello friends!  Karen here today.  If this card doesn't take you back to a sweet, innocent place in your childhood; I don't know what would.  Well, I guess that is if you grew up in the same era as I did.  Our school books contained the most darling illustrations and images.  That's why I've always been drawn to these vintage looking products.  I have lots of this particular company's papers, stickers, etc.; but they're out of business now so I cherish the few bins of it that I have left in my precious stash.
AND....when using my most cherished products from my coveted stash, there's no better way to adorn them than by using some of the FABULOUS products you'll find at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Just look at how these few little extra touches here and there jazzed up my little nostalgic card.  I attached the cardstock, woodgrain patterned paper and blue gingham patterned paper using Scor-Tape.  I also added a few small journalling/sentiment stickers.
I used a journalling card (with the bears and sentiment) as the focal point.  Yet, I knew this card needed and deserved a beautiful bow.  It started with a bow tied using Red Wrinkle RibbonSolid Bluebonnet Baker's TwineYellow Burlap String, Navy Burlap String and Green Burlap String.  I also tucked in several Double Head Stamens, a Mulberry Leave, and I topped it off with a pretty little Yellow Cosmo Daisy.  I also used lots of darling Green Mulberry Leaves and Multi-Color Mulberry Leaves that I spread about and topped with red prills to represent berries.
There are SO many great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It starts with RIBBONS and trims, but it really is SO much more than just the oodles and oodles of wonderful ribbons and trims.  You can see how I always seem to find the perfect touches for every project at RRR.  They have every color of every lovely bobbit you can imagine.  They're sure to have exactly what you need for your next project.  Why not treat yourself today?

Blessings,
Karen

Hi All Occasion Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with another all occasion greeting card created with some of my favorite flowers and trims from RRR.

So the story behind this card was a little clean out in my shop. I had what I like to call a "Paper Management Day"  I went through the embarrassingly high stacks of scraps both patterned papers and cardstock and organized them into clear sleeves so I can find slightly used prints and not run directly for a new sheet of paper.   Once I started piling up the blue patterns I was inspired to create a card with them!

To keep the over all effect of the card from looking too busy I added solid cardstock borders and a bit of wood grain print.

Then of course I had to pile on all these glorious WOC flowers.  I've tucked in some stamped and colored flourishes and die cut foliage to create a generously sized arrangement. The icing on the cake? A perfectly coordinating bow of wrinkle ribbon : )

Down on the Farm

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Welcome to farm country!  I've used some beautiful ribbons from the June 2021 Southwest Vibe Ribbon Club Assortment to make this cute Down on the Farm Fun Fold Card.  I wanted you to see how versatile this month's assortment is.  It works perfectly for trendy Southwest influenced projects, but it also pairs beautifully with farmhouse style!  How fun is that?

The pretty bow cluster on the front flap of this fun fold card is made with Light Coral Taffeta Ribbon and Light Coral Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon from the club assortment.  They complement the shades of aqua in the paper collection and they also pick up on the coral flowers in the background.

I also created a little nest for my mama hen using Natural Burlap String from the shop. I love this stuff so much, I buy it by the spool!   Here's a peek at the rest of the panels in this barnyard beauty.

The front flap is held in place with a hidden magnet. I think fun fold cards are exciting to open.  You never know what is coming around the next fold!   Don't you just love these sweet barnyard critters?

You can create a little pocket with a decorative flap inside the card by scoring and folding one of the 4" x 6 journal cards.  Fold the back side of the image to the front, dress it up with some ephemera bits, then glue down the sides to make a pocket.

If you glue down just the outside edges of the coral flowers, you make a tuck spot for this 3" x 4" mini notecard.  This is a great place to tuck in a little note, or tea bag or gift card.

Have you had a chance to play with your Southwest Vibe Ribbons yet?  What did you make?  I'd love to hear from you in the comment section below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Someone I love Card by Cheryl

Hello Ribbon Lovers, and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I have this super darling card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous ribbons, flowers, and supplies. Hope you enjoy my post for today.
On my card I chose to use lots of layers because I love using layers on all my cards. Each layer not only has sewing but I also added dots using a gel pen. I layered up the sentiment using different die cuts. Around the sentiment I chose to use RRR roses in pinks, and then the pink satin ribbon.  I love how it turned out. All layers are popped up using the foam squares, and I also used the scotch advance tape refill for each layer. Lastly I did the inside to complete my card for today.

HELLO

HELLO, blog friends and crafters.  We're SO glad that you've stopped by to visit today.  It's me, your friend Karen again; and I'm sharing a pretty little card that I created with some FAB products I love from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  If you're anything like me, you LOVE a good bargain and you LOVE pretty things.  Well, this particular card features a few items that are both great bargains AND super pretty.
I used some colored cardstocks and some pretty Crate Paper (Pretty Party) patterned papers and ephemera (post card) to create my card base.  All the layers of cardstocks and patterned papers are securely adhered together using cut strips of Scor-Tape.   This is an AWESOME Adhesive that I use quite a bit; especially when I really want something held together so that it will last a good long time.
To adorn my card, I used some bundled Black Burlap String and bundled Ivory Burlap String topped with several lovely Miniature Double Head Stamens including some Green, some light Pink, some darker Pink, and some Black.  I topped that with a double bow tied with lengths of the lovely Robin's Egg Wrinkle Ribbon.  Then, I added a pretty Multi-Colored Mulberry Leaf and a Deep Ivory Open Rose.
You may see that I also used a bit of metal hardware on my card.  The pretty bow has a tag hanging from it where I stamped the word friend.  It's hanging from a Rusty Bronze Pear-Shaped Safety Pin on kraft paper that inked on the edges.  You can find lots of cool Embellishments at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  There's also a Tim Holtz miniature paperclip in the upper right.  The sentiment (hello) is a die-cut from my stash that I layered in black and teal.  OK....so I've shown you the "PRETTY" and now, if you'll remember I also mention BARGAINS, right?  Check out this awesome breakdown:

Double Head Stamens - $2.14 for 400 pieces - Comes in 20+ colors
Burlap String - $ 0.10/yard or 10 yards/$1 - Comes in 17+ colors
Wrinkle Ribbon -  $0.35/yard or $1.40/4 yards - Comes in 24+ colors

WOW!  How are those for bargains?  And those are RRR every-day prices.  Be sure to visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often to learn about special sales and promotions and to see  lots of wonderful inspiration.  It's always so nice to have you visit.

Blessings,
Karen

Thank You Greeting Card

Hello there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a bright and cheerful thank you greeting card.

This is one of may favorite color combinations. That gorgeous bright pink paired with the navy makes for a striking contrast.

There's a perfectly coordinating sentiment tag that's popped up on spacers for added dimension. Additional die cut banner shapes help to fill in the corner and lighten up the dark background.

These gorgeous blooms all come from RRR. I've layered them with stamped and colored, and die cut foliage and loopy twine bows to create a generously sized arrangement.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
