Jingle Bells and Reindeer Shaker Card

Really Reasonable Ribbon November Ribbon Club Assortment by Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Are you all decorated for Christmas yet?  Today's Jingle Bells and Reindeer Shaker card would look really cute on your mantel nestled amidst some holiday greenery!  This sweet, simple card has lots of texture, thanks to the border treatment.  This is one of my favorite ways to use printed ribbon like this Joy Sherry Satin from the November Ribbon Club Assortment.

Use Scor-Tape to layer Joy Sherry Satin over Tan Delicate Stitched Satin for a quick and easy detail that really catches the eye.

Now dress the card up even more with a lovely bow cluster tied with the Merry Christmas Satin ribbon and a little Ivory Burlap String.

Thanks Gift box

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing another fun box designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon, this one I used as a gift box at my luncheon.

On my box I used some fall design papers to cover it, then added some RRR Ric Rac in brown. Next I chose a few oval frames and layered them using the foam tabs. I stamped the Thanks! and then distressed the oval. This box was super easy to put together. I made 2 bows using Really Reasonable Ribbons Delicate Stitched ribbon, and then the gingham ribbon. Love how simple this was to make! Perfect for those little gifts we give.

Holiday Sweets & Ribbony Treats

With Christmas just around the corner, I know I'll be using lots of extra ribbons.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has all the widths, textures and styles of ribbons along with oodles of other great things like Mulberry Flowers. Adhesives, Leaves, Embellishments, Baker's Twine and SO much more.  I know that I'll always find the ribbons I need for crafting projects, gift wrapping, and everything else that we decorate during the holiday months.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has it all.
This #holiday Sweet treat card was created using an adorable die-cut set from The Greetery (smoores, marshmallows, cookies, tags, graham cracker, etc.).  I die-cut all the different shapes, inked them, glittered some, and placed them about my card using strips of Scor-Tape to securely adhere them.  I also cut the tiny tags, stamped on some of them and strung them together with a piece of Natural Burlap String.  Much like Baker's Twine, this is another great trim that comes in a wide variety of colors and costs just ten cents per yard.
I also used some Cotton Candy Baker's Twine to attach some rusty jingle bells.  At the bottom of the card, I attached another tiny tag with a Fabric Covered Button from the Embellishments Section.  You can always find the perfect trims, EmbellishmentsFlowersLeavesMulberry Flowers, Floral Stamens, and crafting supplies of all sorts.  Be sure to stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to do some shopping, and the RRR Blog where you'll always find lots of great inspiration.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and please visit us again soon.  It's always a treat to have you stop by to take a peek at what's new, and to leave your encouragement and thoughts.  Have a blessed and creative week, everyone.

Festive VW Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! I've been having so much fun creating cards with non-traditional color palates but my favorite will always be classic green and red.

Isn't this vintagy red VW bug just the cutest? It's especially merry when piled high with a holiday tree and packages.

I layered up these patterned papers with a solid green cardstock border to keep them from looking busy.

This arrangement is created with some ready made and some made by me flowers layered with die cut foliage, loopy twine bows and gold netting for a little sparkle. I tucked in some coordinating berry sprays and finished it off with bows created with Olive Wrinkle Ribbon.

Winter Village Snow Globe Card

Vintage Christmas Ribbon Club Assortment Snow Globe Card by Kathy Clement Photo 01

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Have you had a chance to play with your November Ribbon Club Assortment yet?  I could not wait to dig into these lovely vintage Christmas ribbons!  They were the perfect pairing for this Winter Village Snow Globe card.  I found so many ways to enhance the card design with this wonderful assortment.

  • The Winter Neighborhood Satin Ribbon echoes the little house in the card focal image.  So I used it to build a border on the bottom edge of my card.
  • Then I created a textured belly band by wrapping Tan Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon and the Winter Neighborhood ribbon around the center of the card

  • Next, I added a pop of color by creating a border from the Joy Sherry Satin Ribbon.
  • And finally, I created a lovely bow cluster with the Vintage Christmas Ribbon and some of my favorite Natural Burlap String

TIP: Adhere ribbon quickly and neatly with 1/4" and 1/2" Scor-Tape.  Cut the ends a little longer than the width of your card panel so you can wrap the ribbon around to the back side.  This creates neat and tidy edges.

You can use these ribbons inside your card, too!  This Merry Christmas Satin ribbon adds a touch of luxury to the top of the treat pocket.

This might be my favorite Christmas Ribbon Club ever.  I hope you have as much fun playing with it as I am!

Thanks for stopping by!

Give Thanks Treat Box

Hello crafty friends and happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing a treat box, or gift box I made using Really Reasonable Ribbon and this darling little turkey. I love decorating these boxes as they are so much fun! These will be used on my table as place name tags for seating.
For my box I bought these at Hobby Lobby, and then cut design paper to cover the front and back of the box. You can use design papers for the entire box, but I wanted to do this one different. I then layered some oval shapes, and this darling turkey that I cut on my cricut using Kadoodlebug Svg. Next I made the big bows using Really Reasonable Ribbons Plaid Cream and brown Tartan Ribbon, and then the Shimmer Satin Tangerine with gold. Each piece was popped using the Foam Tabs, and paper was added using the scor tape.

My image was airbrushed and then colored using copics. Name was done with Thickers.

Thank you so much for looking and have a lovely day!

BEAUTIFUL Baker's Twine

In case you haven't noticed yet, I am absolutely OBSESSED with Really Reasonable Ribbon Baker's Twine.  I was just looking at all my collective recent work the other day, and what I saw again and again was a whole LOT of beautiful, bountiful, blessed Baker's Twine in EVERY color you can imagine.  I've always love the traditional striped Baker's Twine; but I am also SO IN LOVE 💓with Solid Baker's Twine.  It's yet another "must have' for me; and I own it in almost every color.  It's BEAUTIFUL and I use it ALL the time.  If you look through my blog, you will see a LOT of Baker's Twine.
OH...and did I mention yet that Baker's Twine is only TEN CENTS ($0.10) per yard?  Oh my!  It's true.  You will receive TEN YARDS of Baker's Twine for just $1.00 at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  AND...there are more than twenty colors from which to choose.  Baker's Twine is like a beautiful rainbow of colors at your fingertips at such a great price, and this amazing trim adds so much pizzazz to your cards and projects.
This first card was created by using some cardstocks for the base, and then I stamped on a piece of white cardstock to create my background.  All the stamps I used on this card are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps where I'm currently a Guest Designer who is using A LOT of Baker's Twine on her cards.  No joke...I use Baker's Twine on so many of my cards.  I truly LOVE it, and I think you will enjoy this super reasonable ribbon that will work on all your cards, tags, and more.  I wrapped some Cotton Candy Baker's Twine around my card, and I topped that Cotton Candy Baker's Twine bow with a pretty Miniature Sweetheart Blossom.  I didn't have a grey Sweetheart Blossom, so I used an Ivory Sweetheart Blossom and colored it grey using a Copic marker.
I started my second card with a cardstock base and a patterned paper that I machine stitched together.  I just love all that wonderful texture from the felt, cork and Baker's Twine.  I also added a small journaling sticker for my sentiment which was die-cut from the cork.  I wrapped the Aqua Baker's Twine around my card several times and tied it into a pretty bow.  Lovely and SO "really reasonable".  No joke, my friends.  At Really Reasonable Ribbon, you'll find beautiful Baker's Twine, Ribbons and AdhesivesStamensFlowers and Embellishments to name a few.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Really Reasonable Ribbon is always here to help inspire you and provide high-quality ribbons, trims and products to help you create wonderful cards and projects.  Be sure to take a peek in the RRR Shop to see what speaks to you.  We're always grateful for your visits.

Blessings,
Karen
