Welcome Baby Girl Shoes Card Folio

Echo Park Welcome Baby Girl Baby Shoes Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon
Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Has anyone else noticed how popular shades of coral are right now?  I think it freshens up this cute baby girl card folio, don't you?   Watermelon Taffeta Ribbon and Funky Flowers on Coral Rose Printed Grosgrain Ribbon pair so well with.  patterns and images in this Echo Park paper collection.

TIP:  Create a ribbon belly band by layering printed grosgrain ribbon over Watermelon Taffeta Ribbon.  This burst of color draws the eye to the pastel focal image and helps draw the coral shades out of the design.

TIP: Taffeta ribbon ties beautiful, crisp bows!  As a bonus, it's one of the easiest ribbons I've found to work with.  You can find a zillion shades of it in the RRR shop, and I'm sure there's one that's just right for your current project.

TIP:  Add a little sparkle and shine with an Iridescent Metallic Bow layer between the ribbon and the flower. I love this stuff so much I buy it by the spool!

Echo Park Welcome Baby Girl Die Cut Shoes by Kathy Clement

These baby girl shoes make me say "awwww" every time I look at them.  These were made with the help of a Cottage Cutz die that I found in my stash.

Ribbon comes to the rescue inside this sweet card as well.  It's easy to create a ribbon closure for this little folio!  Simply attach the grosgrain ribbon to the back of the panel with Scor-Tape.  Leave the ends of the ribbon long enough to wrap around the front of the card and tie a bow.  It's a mazing how well this ribbon matches this paper collection!

There's room for journaling, a gift pocket, a bitty frame and a large photo mat inside the folio.

Add a pocket to hold a wee note card and a Baby Milestones Journal Card.

It would be fun to add baby's first photos to this card along with sweet memories.  Then you could tuck the whole thing into your baby book as a keepsake.

I hope I shared some tips, tricks and ideas that you can use in your next crafty adventure.

Wishing you all joy and creativity!

Happy Mothers Day Card with Ribbon and Flowers

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today's Mother's Day card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful seam bindings and pearls that RRR carries in the shop. I absolutely LOVE the way this one turned out.
The flowers were made using Cheery Lynn Designs flower dies, and then doing my glass flower technique.  I love this technique as it makes the flowers look like glass flowers. I layered them and hot glued each flower together and then added a pearl to the center. The seam bindings were ruched and made into smaller flowers to place in between mine.

The design paper is old and is from HC.  I've been trying to use up some of my older paper stacks that I forgot about. Each layer was put together using RRR Scotch Advanced Tape refill and then sewn together. Next I added dots to each layer. I had a lot of fun making this card and hope you like it.

Love's Greeting

Welcome by today, everyone.  I'm so happy you've stopped by to take a peek at this sweet card I made using some FUN products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It's always fun to create cards using the wonderful ribbons, flowers, and products from Really Reasonable Ribbon because I'm always sure to find the perfect colors of EVERYTHING I need.  That includes all the ribbons and trims you can imagine and SO much more.

I used a white cardstock base and layered that with a blue cardstock and some fun patterned papers.  I secured the papers together using Scor-Tape, and then did some machine stitching.  The focal point is a piece of ephemera from my stash, and I laid that on top of a die-cut doily.  I also attached an actual vintage dairy ticket from a booklet of them that I picked up at an antique store, and I placed a Tim Holtz mini rusty paper clip on it.  I hot glued three white vintage buttons on the left.
The floral cluster at the bottom right includes some bundled up Natural Burlap String that I topped with some Mixed Colors Cosmo DaisiesGreen Mulberry Leaves and a length of Misty Turquoise Gingham Ribbon.  I can't think of any shade of any color of ANYTHING you can't find at RRR.
Oh....I can't forget to mention the pretty Deep Lake Blue Double Head Stamens I tucked in there.  Oh, my!  I absolutely LOVE Double Head Stamens.  They're yet another item that comes in oodles of gorgeous colors to match any and every project.  They're such a soft, sweet touch to add to any card.  I know I mention Double Head Stamens a lot, but they really are awesome and super reasonably priced.
Thanks again for stopping by.  I hope you'll visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often.  You won't want to miss out on any of the fabulous inspiration you'll find from here my talented teammates.  And....you'll always be the first to know about special sales and promotions.  We always enjoy your visits, and hope you're having lots of fun in your craft room.  Really Reasonable Ribbon is always here for you when you need ribbons, trims, twines, laces, inspiration and more.

Folio Flip Book

Hey there friends and crafty peeps!  Ginny here with a fun interactive folio flip book created with some beautiful trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I was so inspired by a lovely paper pad that we picked up over spring break to create this book.

Of course I'm adding an arrangement of pretty flowers. Some ready made and some made by me. I finished the focal flower with stamens from RRR and Wrinkle Ribbon and it coordinates perfectly.

I'm creating two different color stories here by choosing the large floral patterned papers and pairing them with additional layers from the collection.
Full page flips adds so much extra room for pictures and journaling and I couldn't resist the foiled papers to add a bit of glam.

I designed this folio base to open fully to show all the coordinating pages at the same time.
The back side of the book has an entirely different vibe. I am so in love with that pretty mint check!

The inserts not only add more room for pictures but the journaling can be added to the back to preserve those memories!

Won't you join me for a tutorial?

Welcome Baby Girl Kangaroo Pocket Card

Hello, Friends!  Is there anything sweeter than a brand new baby girl?  Today I have a darling Kangaroo Pocket Style Card Folio to share with you.  Shocking Pink Plaid Ribbon and Shocking Pink Checkerboard Satin Ribbon from the April Ribbon Club Assortment are the perfect playmates for this precious baby girl paper.

I call it a Kangaroo Pocket because the front of this fun fold card is actually a dimensional pocket that contains an itty bitty 3x3 brag book.    Shocking Pink Checkerboard Satin Ribbon serves as the closure for this darling bitty book.

Even though this little folio is teeny tiny, it has room for more than a dozen photos!  It's the perfect brag book for any grandma!

I could not resist adding a bit of Pink Ric Rac as a border inside the first flap.

This flap also flips open to reveal room for more photos.  I also matted 4x4 and 4x6 journal cards to serve as photo mats to tuck inside the belly band and pockets.

Baby cards are always the most fun to make!

I hope you have a joyful and creative day!

kathy

Wonderful Mother Card

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday to you all! Today's Mother's Day card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous ribbon, flowers, and seam binding that RRR carries. I absolutely love them all! Below I will list all items used on my card for today.

First I started with some beautiful HC design papers that I've had forever. I did layer and add sewing to each layer. Next I chose some heart dies and distressed them with pink and green,.  Then I stamped Wonderful Mother on the heart in black ink. I used a greenery die cut to get my flower stems, and then layered the Chelsea rose, open roses, and rose buds with seam binding . The bows I made up using delicate stitched satin ribbon. All layers are adhered using the foam squares and scotch advanced tape.

Exploring the Ribbon Club Assortment

Welcome by today friends, and thanks for stopping by to say hello.  It's Karen Letchworth today sharing this very simply card that uses some of the beautiful trims found in this month's GORGEOUS Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I jut love this month's assortment, and I think you will too.  It's filled with the prettiest trims.  I just couldn't resist that beautiful floral.  Isn't it stunning?
I started with a deep green cardstock base and one patterned paper that I stamped with a sentiment from Echo Park and machine stitched to the card base.  I ran a length of Moss Green/Cream Gingham Ribbon down the right side of the card and tied a bow with it.  I also included a bow using two of the trims found in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment including the 5/8" Shocking Pink Plaid Ribbon and 5/8" Bright Floral Print on White Satin Ribbon.  I also tied in Solid Light Pink Baker's Twine, and Green Baker's Twine.
The ribbon treatment is topped with a Two-Tone Pink Open Rose.  All the trims found at Really Reasonable Ribbon compliment one another and work well together.  The Solid Baker's Twine comes in so many great colors and is super cost-effective at just ten cents per yard.  I want every color, and I LOVE incorporating them into my bows.  Baker's Twine is just super useful in general; and Really Reasonable Ribbon carries the best selection at the best price.
There as so many great things you can do with the monthly Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Some months I forget to show everyone just how BEAUTIFUL these ribbons are and how many different ways they can be used.  Of course, I'll likely be sharing a headband during the RRR Blog Hop on the 13th; but for now, I really hope this card inspires you to check out Really Reasonable Ribbon.  There's also lots of great inspiration for you on the RRR Blog, so please visit again soon.  Have a great week.

Blessings,
Karen

Let Them Eat Cake Greeting Card

Hello friends and crafty peeps! I hope you all enjoyed a happy Easter! I'm just dropping in to share a Birthday Greeting card I created with gorgeous ribbon trims from RRR.

I really love to use journal card cut aparts to create focal images for my projects.  I used  this Birthday themed image stacked on layers of papers for this card.

I used a coordinating cardstock to keep the layers from looking busy.

This pretty Spring inspired Robin's Egg Blue Wrinkle Ribbon  fills in the arrangement of matching flowers to anchor this corner of the card.
