Easter Squeak Memorydex card

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I am sharing this darling Easter Memorydex card using Easter Squeak, isn't she darling? You could always use this layout on a card as well. I'm just loving these memorydex cards as I get to see them every time I'm crafting, and I change them up by just spinning it. Love that!
I start out with all my cards measuring about 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" , then covering with design paper choices, then cut down the top using different edge dies. Next I cut out my shaped layers so I have a starting point to work with. I will then cut some greenery and pick what I'm gonna use on the center(unless I've picked it already) , I also pick up some of the embellishments I think I may use. This one here I chose to use this darling Easter Squeak and love her!

thank you for stopping by and have a nice day!

Hugs to all, Cheryl

Hoppy Easter Bunny Wobbler Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Here's a hoppy little Easter Card with a twist!  The cute bunny on the cover is actually a wobbler! He sits on a small coil of thin wire, and when you touch him, he wiggles like a bowl full of Jello!  I've added a ribbon belly band made from the Pastel Plaid Print Ribbon in the March Ribbon Club.

Hot Pink Double Faced Satin Ribbon from the March Ribbon Club Assortment adds a wonderful pop of color to this happy little card. I've added some Spring Chrysanthemums and Iridescent Metallic String to the bow cluster for the win.

TIP: Add lots of dimension to your scene by backing fussy cut elements with layers of foam tabs.

Add a pocket to the inside of your card, then fill it with sweet Easter Chocolate.  It's Easter Bunny approved!

Since Easter comes late this year, you still have lots of time to get some special Easter cards made.  And don't forget to add some ribbon!

Thanks for stopping by!

Close Your Little Peepers Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Today I made a Gift card similar to the Memorydex one I did a week or so ago. This one was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Beautiful Flowers, Ribbons, and pearls they carry in the shop. Also no sewing on this one, shocking right?
So for my card I chose to use some layers of design paper I had left over from my memorydex card, and then used the blue card stock that was leftover as well. I used a die cut for the bottom of my large layer, and added some distressing , dots, and half backed pearls(base blue measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/3") I then added another layer on top of that one that measures 5" x 3 3/4"  , and layered on that is a frame, with oval cut outs. I then used this darling "Close your little Peepers: SVG file I bought from Kadoodlebug. Once I had all my layers, then I added the double bow, swirl floral die cuts in green, and all my flowers. Lastly I added my tag and bakers twine in three different colors. Super fun card to put together, and came together quickly. There is no sewing on this card, and I did do the inside for writing. All items used on my card will be linked below for easy finding.

Hoppy Easter From Really Reasonable Ribbon

Welcome by, everyone, and thanks for stopping in today.  It's your friend, Karen, here today and I'm happy to be sharing a sweet Easter card that I created using some of my favorite products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  They carry SO many great ribbons and trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and they also carry LOTS of other great products to help you create FUN cards and projects.
This card started with a white and red cardstock base onto which I machine stitched some red gingham patterned paper and a piece of white cardstock stamped with the Grunge Strips Background Stamp Set from SNSS.  Next, I ran a length of the super sweet Juliet Natural Crochet Lace across the card.  I saw this it's currently out of stock, but there are several other sweet laces and trims at RRR.
I stamped the bunny, flower and leaf sprig using the Just A Note Stamp Set and coordinating dies from Paper Sweeties.  Next, I added several of the pretty Miniature Mixed Pastel Sweetheart Blossoms here and there for a soft touch.  Then I added in some bundled Ivory Burlap String, bundled Red Burlap String, and some pretty Double Head Stamens in Pink, Matcha Green and Black.  I also used lots of Scor-Tape Adhesive to securely attach everything in place.
There's always so much FABULOUS inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog so be sure to stop by often.  You'll also learn about special sales and promotions as well as our monthly Blog Hop; so don't miss out of any of the fun.  It's always SO nice to have you stop by and visit.

Easter Gnomes Folio

Photoplay Year With My Gnomies Folio Really Reasonable Ribbon Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Have you had a chance to play with the March Ribbon Club yet?  I used it to dress up this adorable Easter Gnomes Folio.  Apple Taffeta Ribbon is the perfect shade of green to go with this whimsical creation.  Pastel Vertical Stripe Ribbon makes me think of rainbows and Easter Eggs.  So it's a great accent ribbon for the corners.

Here's a peek inside this Z-Fold Folio.  The Pastel Stripe Ribbon in the corner is seen from the cover.  I like that it does double duty this way.

TIP:  The Z-Fold design of this folio provides you with space to add a hidden pocket and tag combination and a little flap page, too.  To make the Z-Fold card front, simply score it in half down the middle, then fold the right hand side back toward the spine.  How easy is that?

When the folio is fully opened, you find a pocket filled with a tag and a couple of journal cards.  You can mat a photo on the calendar page, or write a message in code in the squares.  Wouldn't that be fun?

However you decide to use this Spring Ribbon Club Assortment, you're going to love the great patterns, textures and ribbon styles.  It's so nice to be able to pull out our spring papers and ribbons, isn't it?

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter Gable Gift box

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I have this fun little Easter Box I covered up with design papers, dies, Really Reasonable Ribbons & embellishments. I love decorating these fun little gable boxes!
On my box here I started with a pink design paper I bought a pack of from our local warehouse sale, then used a border die to cut the little top piece done in blue. I added Really Reasonable Ribbons Pearls to this piece. Next I made up 2 big bows using Satin ribbons and hot glued them on the handle, this way they dont have to be removed to open this up. I stamped up stampinUp! stamps and punched out the sentiment. My sweet little chick bunny is a SVG file I cut out on my cricut, and then distressed and added the eyelashes and dots on by hand. The eggs I airbrushed after cutting them out in white card stock. Next I added the beautiful flowers that RRR carries, and will list everything below for easy finding. Love how this one turned out, now I have a few more to make. hehehe

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:

others used: gable box, design paper, punches, dies, border die, Stampinup! stamp, hot glue, metal leaves from my stash, distress inks, svg file, cricut machine, crafters edge machine, tombow glue

I do hope you enjoyed my Gable Box for today! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Sent From My Heart

Welcome by, blog friends.  Thanks for visiting us today as I share this sweet little Birthday card I created using some of the wonderful products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I just LOVE the fact that they always have the perfect color trim for every project.  Seriously...just about every color in every width, texture and style you can imagine is available at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I always enjoy making cards and projects using their FABULOUS products.

This card started with some corrugated cardboard and a literal scrap of patterned paper.  I love this patterned paper, and this is the very last of it.  I cut the tags using a Paper Sweeties die-cut, and the heart is a PTI die-cut that I hand stitched with Natural Burlap String.  Both of the sentiments are also from Paper Sweeties.  I love all the layers, textures and personality that these RRR items add to my cards.  The tags are topped with more of the Natural Burlap String and a pretty bow tied with Lace Blue Seam Binding.
On the left side of my card, I added some bundled Natural Burlap String, several Miniature Stamens, and a pretty Pastel Blue Magnolia Mulberry Flower.  On the bottom right, you'll see a sweet little White Heart Shaped Flatback Imitation Pearl Accent from the Embellishments section.  There's always lots of inspiration here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, and lots of great shopping at RRR.  Thanks for visiting and have a creative week.

Blessings,
Karen
