Love, Hope & Joy

Hello to all our ribbon loving friends!  It's Karen Letchworth posting today.....and let me assure you that you don't really even have to be a ribbon lover to be a lover of Really Reasonable Ribbon because we carry SO much more than just ribbons.  While we do, admittedly, carry the widest variety of ribbons and trims you can imagine; we also have gorgeous Mulberry FlowersAdhesivesEmbellishments, and...the list goes on and on.
For today's card, I used white cardstock and a piece of October Afternoon patterned paper from my stash.  I die-cut the frame from a piece of white wood grain patterned paper, and in the middle of that I stamped my sentiment which is from Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Holiday Greetings Stamp Set. Next, I added three gorgeous White Lotus Flowers, several (light turquoise) Miniature Mixed Blue Sweetheart BlossomsTwo-Toned Turquoise Open Roses, several White Double Head Stamens and Turquoise Double Head Stamens.  Lots of fabulous Scor-Tape holds everything together securely.
I also tucked in a Green Mulberry Leaf, a White Mulberry Leaf, and some bundled Ivory Burlap String.  At the bottom right of my card, I attached a White Flat Back Pearl.  As I mentioned, there is SO much more than (oodles of) ribbons available at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This card uses no less than 12 of their items, and only one of those is a spooled trim.  So, I really do hope you will stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to look around for some Christmas treats for yourself.  You will LOVE what you see.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  We always appreciate your visits and comments.  Have a wonderfully creative week, and really.....check out Really Reasonable Ribbon for all your crafting needs.  They have SO much to offer.

Blessings,
Karen

Have A Cup Of Cheer

Hello again, all my ribbon-loving and coffee-loving friends!  It's Karen Letchworth back again today and ready to share another sweet coffee-themed Christmas card that features lots of fabulous products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Just look at what a few simple products from Really Reasonable Ribbon did for this simple card.  I attached two pieces of older patterned papers and a coffee sentiment card by using a fabulous Adhesive called Scor-Tape and I also machine stitched the edges.  Really Reasonable Ribbon did the rest.
At the bottom of my card, I added a width of 1/8" Red Diagonal Stripe Ribbon, and I used it again in my bow.  It's on top of a bow tied with Bay Leaf Seam Binding and a snippet of Red Center Stitch Burlap.  As you will also see, I tucked in a Red Orchid and lots of sweet Red Double Head StamensWhite Double Head Stamens and Aqua Double Head Stamens.  These adorable little accents have quickly become my new "fave" and they are super affordable (just $1.99 per 160 pieces) and they come in nine gorgeous colors.
At the top of my card, just to balance things a bit; I added a small cream button tied with a piece of Natural Burlap String.  Burlap String is another FABULOUS trim that can be used for so many things; and not only does it come in 15 gorgeous colors, but it also costs just $1.00 for TEN YARDS!  Yup!!  I use it all the time because it's so affordable and SO awesome.   There are LOTS of great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and we hope that you will stop by to check it out and treat yourself to something new.  Christmas is right around the corner, so it's the perfect time to check off the one person on your Christmas list who often gets forgotten.....yourself!
Really Reasonable Ribbon is always here to help you find the PERFECT trims and goodies for your next project.  We look forward to having you visit again real soon.

Blessings to you,

Dream - Altered Frame

Hello Ribbon Lovers!
Sharing a dreamy altered frame today that is super easy to create in record time using beautiful ribbons and embellishments.
Gather your list of supplies:
Frame
Vintage Music
I glued on a few of the ivory flowers, then I made a double bow with the ribbon and adding the bling embellishment.  Next I tucked and glue the Juliet Lace into place.
Using the frame as a template, I cut out the vintage sheet music and tucked inside.
I hope you enjoyed another fun and easy project.

Sympathy in Pink

{judy} Today I a sharing a sympathy card - one that was actually designed to be sent for the loss of a pet. But it certainly could be used for the loss of a loved one too. The sentiment comes from Sweet 'n Sassy's Kitty Love Clear Stamp Set.

I stamped my sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black. Stitching, pearls, ribbon, and roses, help make for an elegant sympathy card for a pet or a loved one. I hand cut the banner for the sentiment. I used Memory Box Brandywine designer paper.

You can find the Satin Double Ruffle Pink Ribbon here - and be sure to take a look at all of the beautiful colors Bonnie carries in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store here. I absolutely love the way it looks - reversible, and easy to work with.

My mulberry rose is also from RRR - take a look at all of the beautiful floral options here!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Believe...

Hello friends.  Bonnie here today with a fun Christmas card using glittery metallic ribbons and some pretty Wild Orchid Crafts open roses from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I went with a non-traditional color scheme on this one, but I think it works really well.  This was a really quick and easy card to put together.  It's really just several layered die cuts with a digital stamp sentiment.  I also dry embossed the white layer with a snowflake embossing folder.
I finished my card off with some pretty Mulberry Paper Roses and an attention grabbing bi-color double-loop bow with the beautiful and sparkly Glitz Ribbon using my Bow-it-All V2.0.
For a video tutorial on how to create this gorgeous bow, please click HERE.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  For more information on other products used on my card, please visit my Make Time to Craft Blog.  Have a crafty day!

For our RRR July Blog Hop, please click HERE.
Hi there peeps!  Got a couple of fun projects to share today here at RRR.  I created another cute milk cap tag and I embellished a rustic galvanized envelope, perfect size for a gift card.  I adorned them with washi tapes, sweetheart blossom, chipboard pieces, digi papers and scraps.  I used lipstick red seam bindingplaid ribbon in red, and cherry baker's twine.  Both would be adorable pinned to a mason jar as a topper!  Hope your Summer is going good! Using Up Your Stash

One color that I don't use often, or even wear much for that matter, is ORANGE.  I'm sure that you all, just like me, have many patterned papers in your stash that need to be used up.  I decided to start using some of those older, neglected items.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has the perfect ribbons, trims and embellishments to help you use up those items you've been meaning to use.  I ordered some Really Reasonable Ribbon's beautiful ORANGE ribbons, trims and flowers to create these two cards.
Both cards are quite similar.  I alternated two OLD patterned papers that had orange polka dots on them, and machine stitched them together.  Next, I stamped a Happy Birthday sentiment on them and die-cut the sentiment spot.  Then.....the fun part - the ribbons!  I used some lovely items from Really Reasonable Ribbon including their gorgeous (and super "on-trend" )3/4" Orange Chevron Striped TwillMelissa Natural Crochet Lace, Cream Seam Binding and then adorned it with Deep Ivory Open Roses and Orange Open Roses.  I also added a tiny little tag (party time) with a pearl stick pin and a sequin.
My second card includes all the same ribbons as mentioned above, but also includes Dusty Olive Seam Binding and Antique Gold Burlap String as well as a 30 mm Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Paper Green Leaf.  It's SO fun using coordinating ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon to help me use up all the neglected items in my stash.  I encourage you to place an order at Really Reasonable Ribbon today for some ribbons and embellishments to help you use up of those forgotten colors in YOUR stash.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to link up in our current challenge.

Summer Fruits...

Hello there!  Did you have a fun 4th?  We headed off to Diamond Lake for a fireworks show over the lake.  It was beautiful! I hope yours was too.  It is my turn here at the RRR blog today.  I decided to  make a couple of fruity birthday cards.
I again have been having fun breaking into some old stamp sets.  I used sets from PTI and WPLUS9.  My papers are old papers from Jenni Bowlin and Crate Paper.  I used seam bindingsplaid ribbon in red and pink, and Karen white crochet lace.   I also used sweetheart blossoms and leaves in parrot green on my mason jar.  I added little details with some mini stamps and had fun with shading.  I love, love, love these and how they turned out.....hope you do too!
Hugs, Cherry

French Chalkboard Labels Pocket with Tags

Hey there Paper Peeps! We're knee deep in the summer activities schedule here and loving every minute of the warm weather!!! But a busy schedule will not keep me from my studio and this week I've created a lovely little pocket filled with tags. It's a thoughtful way to present a gift card or fill with pictures and journaling for a not so traditional scrapbooking project. I used the beautiful trims from the July Ribbon Club Assortment "Black and White"
All the patterned papers I used were from my scrap and salvage box and the vintagy images are from my French Floral Chalkboard Labels Digital Collage Sheet.
To top the tags I created bows from Black Checkerboard Satin, Black Sheer with 4 Thin Satin Stripes,  and Black Satin Swiss Dots.
A pocket with the tags removed should look just as pretty, so I finished the inside with coordinating polka dots.
I used more of the Black Satin Swiss Dots and layered on some Barbara Crocheted Lace. The gorgeous flowers are from Petaloo..I just love them! I added an additional bow created with Chevron Striped Twill in Black.
The bows on the tags are finished with Wild Orchid Crafts Black Roses, and some sweet little charms and keys.
I really love my old school label maker and for this project the black tape was a perfect match. I layered the label with a glittery flowers and tag then anchored them with a metal clip.
The tags have more of the French Floral Chalkboard Labels on coordinating papers with bold graphic patterns.
As you can see...a little accent with Stickles really helps the flowers pop and gives them a little sparkle.
I just love all the layers and textures on this pocket. It's already gone to a good home and I hope they enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Okay that's all for me. Wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G

Sweet Little Baby of Mine

Hi everyone.  Today I have a pretty baby card to share.  I'll have a new baby niece in July so I thought I'd get the card together ahead of time.  I embellished it with beautiful ribbons and mulberry flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I added a pretty double-layer double-loop bow made with Pearl Pink Delicate Stitched Satin using my Bow-it-All V2.0.  You can view a video tutorial on how I made this bow HERE.
I also added some beautiful Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Flowers.  Really Reasonable Ribbon offers a wide variety of mulberry flowers for all your crafting needs.  I used 20mm Open Roses, and 25mm Cottage Roses.  I like to wrap the stem around a needle tool for a fun look.
If you'd like to see what else I created for the new baby, please stop over at my Make Time to Craft Blog and say hi.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Shabby Birds and Flowers Card

Hey there Peeps! I hope you are all enjoying your week. We've been super busy with the kiddos activities....I'm just running in circles. I do have time though to share a very vintagy card I created with Really Reasonable Ribbon trims and Crafty Secrets printed papers and images.
Oh how I love a shabby card!!!!
Pink Chevron Striped Twill topped with Ivory Burlap String look super sweet on this color scheme. I've also got a few loopy bows of  Ivory Jute String tucked in. That fabulous  textural element comes from layering Ivory Netting and Chloe Crocheted Lace.
I heavily distressed and inked the edges of the printed paper then stitched it with coordinating thread.
I added a nice subtle detail by Stickling the printed flowers then adding pretty pink roses and White Sweetheart Blossoms.
Crafty Secret Supplies...Birds & Bloom~Brown Wood Flowers, Birds-Roses, Golden Blooms
CS2 Flower 012 Floral Art Clear Art Stamps

Okay that's all for me wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : )G
