Let's Bake Stuff and Watch Christmas Movies

Hi crafty friends!  It's Karen sharing with you here today.  As Christmas begins its approach, we can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect trims for our Holiday crafts, cards, wrapping and projects of every kind.  I know that I always find the perfect trims in the perfect width, color and style when shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card I'm sharing today pairs some of a few of those fabulous trims from RRR with a darling sentiment from Bonnie Garby Designs.
I layered black and pink cardstocks, vellum, and a Prima patterned paper to create my base.  The dies I used are from a die set called Candy Cane Lane (sold out) from Hello Bluebird Stamps. I have lots of layers going on here indeed.  All the candy canes, foliage and berries are from this darling Candy Cane Lane die set.  The adorable sentiment is from Bonnie Garby Designs and can be found in the Christmas Holiday Baking 2 Stamp Set.
The lovely trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon that I used on this card include the White Crochet LaceApple Baker's TwineDusty Rose Wrinkle Ribbon, and they're all securely held in place using various widths of the FABULOUS Adhesive called Scor-Tape.  I also used some White 3-D Foam Tabs to attach the sentiment piece.  Even for scapbooking, Scor-Tape is a very secure Adhesive.
I hope you'll visit Really Reasonable Ribbon to check out all the fabulous trims and other products they carry.  You're always sure to find AMAZING deals and the best variety you can imagine.  There's also SO much fabulous inspiration here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a great week, everyone.

My Grace Is Sufficient For You

Welcome by again today, sweet blog friends.  I'm glad you're here because today I'm sharing a pretty card that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon showcasing just a few of their (many) fabulous trims.  When we think about Really Reasonable Ribbon, of course ribbons and trims come to mind first.  That makes sense because RRR carries every ribbon, trim, twine, lace, etc. you can imagine.  Plus, they carry things like AdhesivesMulberry Flowers, Hair Accessories, Embellishments and SO much more.
My card uses black and dusty rose cardstocks for the base and then a layer of patterned paper from My Mind's Eye.  I used a stencil on the background, stamped the scripture using a Verve stamp, and then pressure embossed that white piece of cardstock with the Organic Linen Embossing Folder from Altenew.  Everything was attached with Scor-Tape, 3-D Foam Tabs or the hot glue gun.
I attached the sentiment piece using White 3-D Foam Tabs.  Next, I ran a length of Bay Leaf Seam Binding up the left-hand side card of my card next to a length of Dusty Rose Wrinkle Ribbon and some bundled Metallic Gold String.  Isn't that Metallic Gold String gorgeous?  I topped that with a beautiful Light Pink Tea Rose and two Moss Green Open Roses.  I also tucked in a pretty Green  Mulberry Leaf.
Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great inspiration and up-to-date information about special sales and promotions.  You'll always find something wonderful when you shop at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Thanks again for visiting today.

May Your Days Be Merry & Bright

Hi there, friends.  It's Karen posting here today.  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.  Well.....not necessarily here where I live in the desert; but definitely up in the Northern states.  In fact, we haven't even turned on the heat in our house yet.  The temps remain high enough during the daytime hours that we're still ok with just our sweatpants and an extra blanket at night.  But that doesn't mean we can't start celebrating Christmas.  Right?
There are so many great Christmas products out there in the craft world. Lots of great stamps, dies and goodies to help us create beautiful cards and projects. But.... the trims!! YES, the trims. You can't miss out on all the GORGEOUS ribbons, trims, laces, twines and Embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon. They're the best. The snowflake in the upper right corner has a White Flatback Pearl in its center.
I used basic black and red cardstocks for the base, and a Carta Bella patterned paper. I cut the frame using corrugated cardboard and white watercolor paper with a frame die from Taylored Expressions. I stencilled the diagonal stripes using a stencil from Pinkfresh. Those delicious cookies were cut using a die set from The Greetery. But like I mentioned, the trims..... LOTS of pretty trims from RRR.
I ran a length of Olive Wrinkled Ribbon across my card and tied a bow with that and a piece of Black Seam Binding. I also added a bow tied with Solid Red Baker's Twine and I tucked in a few Milk White Double Head Stamens. The little holly berries and ivy were cut from wool felt using a Paper Sweeties die. The thing I love most about Really Reasonable Ribbon is that I know I can ALWAYS find the perfect color, width, texture and style of trim for every project. They really have it ALL. I hope you'll stop back by here at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for lots of great inspiration.

Blessings,
Karen

Just Because I Love You

Have you seen the beautiful Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon this month?  It's gorgeous, and it's everything you could possibly want for Summer.  There are so many beautiful ribbons and trims, flowers and twines in every color of the rainbow.....and far beyond.  They really have it ALL when it comes to ribbons, trims and SO much more.  I always know I'll find just the right accents at Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I made this card using a piece of black cardstock that I layered with a piece of patterned paper and then a piece of white paper that I oxide inked with Kitsch Oxide Ink.  I ran a length of Olive Winkle Ribbon across my card and used another piece of the Olive Wrinkle Ribbon to tie a pretty bow.  As always, Really Reasonable Ribbon helped me make it look extra pretty.
Underneath the bow, I bundled some Ivory Burlap String and topped the bow with a Miniature Pastel Sweetheart Blossom.  The doily die-cut was cut from the same patterned paper as the base.  The stamped sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios and I stamped it with Forest Green Ink.
Next to the sentiment, I attached a 11mm Flatback Immitation Pearl Heart Embellishment.  I also ran a length of pretty Natural Crochet Lace across my card.  There are still several pretty Crochet Laces available as well as lots of other wonderful Mulberry Flowers, Baker's Twines and more.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Don't forget that there's always lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog as well as information about our monthly Blog Hops, and special sales and promotions.  We're always super grateful for your visits and comments.

Hello, creative friends, and welcome by the RRR Blog today as I share a cute little patriotic card that features some awesome products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  No matter what I'm making, no matter what colors or themes I incorporate, I can ALWAYS count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect ribbons, twines, trims and goodies to adorn my art.  They really have it ALL.
This quick little card started with some black and white cardstocks that I attached together with Scor-Tape.  I pressure embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and I also used Tim Holtz Distress Ink on that to create my background.  I used a cute circle die from Poppy Stamps to cut some patterned paper circles.  I also cut one extra circle in white, and I used a Stamp Simply stamp set for the sentiment.
At the bottom of my card, I ran a length of Red Wrinkle Ribbon and used that to tie a pretty bow that I topped with a White Magnolia Flower.  I tucked in some Red Double Head StamensMilk White Double Head Stamens, and Lake Blue Double Head Stamens.  I just LOVE all the texture and color that these items add to my card.  They're FUN.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  There's always lots of great inspiration on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, so be sure to stop by often.  Oh, and don't forget to join us on the 13th for our monthly Blog Hop.  Have a great week, everyone.

HELLO To You

Welcome by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, everyone.  It's Karen here today, and  I'm delighted to have you visit us as I share a sweet project I created yesterday for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I started with a basic brown paper lunch bag (three of them, actually) and I machine stitched them together.  The inside pages are covered in patterned papers, lots of great photo mats, journalling spots, pockets for photos and keepsakes, and just lots of fun things.  Really Reasonable Ribbon always has everything I need to make beautiful projects.  You will LOVE all that you find here.
The patterned paper you see is from a sweet Echo Park line called Flower Garden.  I used strips of Scor-Tape to attach all my patterned papers, the border strip, and the ribbon.  The border is a pale peachy pink cardstock that I cut using a PTI border die-cut.  I ran a length of Olive Green Wrinkle Ribbon down the left-hand side of my card to create that border.  Wrinkle Ribbon comes in over 20 colors, and is just a bit more narrow (in width) and a bit stiffer than Seam Binding; which comes in over 20 colors.  You'll see both in my bow.
The pretty floral cluster is ALL from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It includes several Milk WhitePink and Matcha Green Double Head Stamens.  They are such a GORGEOUS touch, and are a very reasonably priced accent at right around $2 for 400 pieces.  SO pretty!  The bow also includes more of the Olive Green Wrinkle Ribbon, a length of Cream Seam Binding, and some Coral Rose Mini-Check Gingham Ribbon.  It's all topped with a GORGEOUS Pink Cottage Rose.  You will find over 20 different variety/style of Mulberry Flowers at RRR, and each style has dozens of colors, sizes, and varieties.  It's AMAZING!!
There's also a small sentiment/journalling sticker, a scale sticker from the Echo Park line, an SSS circle die-cut in cream, some floral prills in green, pinks and yellows, a HELLO die-cut, and some Ivory Burlap String swirled around the prills.  There are SO many beautiful products at Really Reasonable Ribbon, as well as AdhesivesMulberry Flowers, and SO much more.  It's a great time to do some shopping at Really Reasonable Ribbon and treat yourself.  Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings,
Karen

Happy Day

Welcome by today, creative friends.  We hope you're all doing well, staying safe and healthy, and enjoying your crafty time.  I'd like to share this card with you that I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using a few of their (many) fabulous products.  If you'd like to stop by blog, My Cup Runneth Over, I have a few more details about my card.
I used brown kraft paper for my base and cover plate.  I used a wonderful Adhesive called Scor-Tape to layer everything together and secure the cover plate and floral patterned paper into place.  Next, I die-cut and layered several wool felt flowers and I placed a White Flatback Pearl in the center of each flower as well as one at the bottom left of  my card.  I tied a pretty bow with a length of Robin's Egg Wrinkle Ribbon.
Just below the floral patterned paper, I ran a length of 1/4" Pink Chevron Striped Twill.  I also die-cut some green foliage from the wool felt.  One of my wool felt die-cut flowers is rolled up; and I tucked in several White Double Head Stamens to recreate the stamens you'd see in a real flower.  If you haven't noticed yet, I do so LOVE the Double Head Stamens.  They come in two different styles and a wide array of gorgeous colors.  They're also SUPER affordable at approx. $2 for 250 pieces.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I do hope that you'll visit again soon for more inspiration.  There's always something new (and quite lovely) at Really Reasonable Ribbon to help you adorn all your wonderful projects.  There's also information about special sales and promotions, and an awesome Blog Hop each month on the 13th of the month where one lucky person wins the awesome Ribbon Club Assortment.  We hope you'll visit us often.

Blessings,
