I love the gold bead berry spray and those are also from Really Reasonable Ribbon. to put this all together I used scor-tape and hot glue. the photos are from 2015 its been awhile, and I have so many pages I want to get done. wish me luck! hehehehehe

Christmas Plaid Ribbon and Pretty Poinsettias

Christmas Plaid Ribbon, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Kathy Clement, Kathy by Design

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Kathy here with one last Christmas in July project.  This one features my favorite Christmas Plaid Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It comes in 3/8" and 5/8" widths so it's great for all kinds of projects.  This loopy bow is tied with the 5/8" ribbon.

One of my favorite things about this ribbon is the thin gold threads that run through it, providing just the right amount of sparkle and  shine.  The other thing that I love is the fact that the ribbon is soft and supple so it's easy to tie beautiful bows with it.

TIP:  Dress up your bow with some rusty jingle bells and star anise.  Now the card doesn't just look good, it smells wonderful and sounds pretty, too.

Here's a peek at the inside.  There's room to write a message, and a cute tea wallet and honey stick tucked into the pocket.  I like to have a basket of these cards on hand to give as last minute gifts or stocking stuffers during the holidays.

Have you started Christmas crafting yet?  If so, be sure to check out the wide array of Christmas ribbons in the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop.

Wishing you all a joyful and creative day!

Picture Perfect Scrapbook Layout

I know that you all use ribbon on your cards, but
have you ever used ribbon or twine in your scrapbook layouts?
Adding a simple scrap piece of ribbon or leftover twine can completely change your layout.
Actually, it can elevate a pretty layout into a beautiful work of heart!

Howdy Ribbon Lovers!
Misty (@Mommyofkidz) here today sharing a scrapbook layout featuring
lots of beautiful treasures from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store.
These photos are from 2021-when this old lady lost her mind and gained a new last name.
Yes-I am that old lady. I was 45 in these photos
and happier than I had been in many years.
I wanted to keep the focus on my dress and boots, so I chose a very
muted color palette to work with.
I wanted to enhance the elegance of the photos while maintaining the country look.  Therefore, I mixed lace and gingham with pearls and roses...topped off with some burlap string for good measure.  This Collection by 49 & Market was perfect
and matched effortlessly with the elements that I chose from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

The Sharon White Crochet Lace paired with the Bluebird Plaid Ribbon was a match made in heaven! I have been coveting both of these for quite a while in the RRR Store, and I finally broke down and added them to my order.  I absolutely adore this combonation and I will be using it more as I work with my wedding photos! I also tossed some mulberry paper flowers and Ivory burlap string into the mix, along with a few strategically placed flat back white pearls.

When I put it all together, I realized that this was the perfect recipe and exact ingredients that I needed to maintain the integrity of my photos, while enhancing the beauty of the day.  The embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon complimented my layout and kept my photos "Picture Perfect".

Thank you all for stopping by today! Before you go, answer this one question...is there something over in the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store that you have had your eye on?  Is there a project that you want to use it on?  Stop waiting!  Today is the day to set your plans in motion! When you finish it up, drop a link in the comments, as I would LOVE to see!

Thank You Card Duo

When it comes to making Thank You cards, you might as well make at least two if you're making one anyway.  Let's face it.....we are BLESSED and we have a lot of Thank You cards to write.  Anyway, I decided to make two quick and easy Thank You cards combining trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon and sentiments from Bonnie Garby Designs.  You can read more here on My Blog.
I used the Many Thanks 2 Digital Stamp Set from Bonnie Garby Designs for the sentiment on each card.  I love all the different fonts in Bonnie's sentiments.  I cut (several) postage stamp rectangles from white cardstock and gingham JilliBean Soup patterned paper.  I layered all these pieces of paper using pieces of Scor-Tape.
I used White 3-D Foam Tabs to raise up the sentiment pieces, and I ran the Solid Black Baker's Twine underneath them.  There are several awesome colors of Solid Baker's Twine and even more color choices in regular Baker's Twine.  This amazing trim is just TEN CENTS per yard.  That means you'll get TEN YARDS of any color for just ONE DOLLAR.  Oh, do you see that pretty White Lace in the photo background?  Well, there's still a bit left.  You can still grab some of this sweet trim before it's gone.
Be sure to visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for lots of great inspiration.  I'm always grateful for your visits to My Blog as well.  Oh, and don't forget to stop by Bonnie Garby Designs to check out all the awesome digital stamps.  They all pair so nicely with the amazing products you'll find at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Stay creative.

Blessings,
Karen

Winter Snow Globe Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Well I sure am enjoying crafting for Christmas in July.  Not only do I find it delightful to use the seasonal trims and embellishments but I also benefit from having a dig through my stash to see my inventory to determine what I have and what I need to source before the actual Christmas season come along.

I've layered fussy cut images with die cut flowers on pretty seasonal printed paper then topped it off with ribbon and twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Christmas in July Scrapbook Layout using RRR

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! DT Member Cheryl here today, and Im sharing a 2 page layout I did using Really Reasonable Ribbons Score-tape, foam tabs and some ribbon.

So for today's fun layouts I chose to do no sewing. I normally use a lot of scor-tape when I don't sew on my pages as this is what I use to hold them together. When I do sew I use it to attach photos matts, main page to the back layer, and all my little pieces will have either scor-tape or foam tabs to hold them on.

Photos below show how I did it for this page here.

I also used the scar-tape for the pieces running through the middle of my pages. For the little kids I used foam tabs.

The Really Reasonable Ribbon I chose to use is the crosshatched satin found here  , love how it looks on both of my pages. Now for the trees, title, reindeer, and reindeer kid these are all SVG's Ive cut on the cricut and pieced together.

I do hope you enjoyed my post today and thank you so much for stopping by! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Christmas in July Rustic Woodland Card

Really Reasonable Ribbon-Christmas-Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  The weather here in North Carolina is just toooo hot and humid to do anything but stay inside and craft.  And what makes you feel cooler in the summer time?  Christmas cards!  So I pulled out one of my favorite holiday color combos for this rustic woodland style card: Red, Black and White.

Bold Check Black Plaid Ribbon adds a lovely vintage feel to this bow cluster. Metallic gold string is a must have for Christmas cards!  It adds just the right touch fo sparkle and shine.

TIP:  Make a bitty banner stand out by tying tiny 1" bows with Christmas Baker's Twine and your Bow-it-All tool.  Adhere the bows on the ends of the banner and top with bitty buttons for a really cute embellishment.

Have you started making your Christmas Cards yet?  I always feel a little silly getting started in July, but then I'm happy I did it when the busy holiday season rolls around.  It means I have more time to bake cookies and spend time making memories with my family.

Cheerio,

kathy

Easy Peasy Lemon SqueezY!

Howdy Y'all!  Happy Friday! Misty here with you sharing another hair bow.  I think it is one of my favorite things to do with Ribbon.  I genuinely enjoy pairing the colors and patterns together to create a masterpiece!  The one that I am sharing today is no exception.

I always start by taking trip over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store...

And of course...50 mm French clip

I thought that these colors were PERFECT for a fun splash of summer.

After making each layer, I stack them up and glue in the center knot.
Finally, I add my embellishments...this time it was the lemons.
I am not really a fan of lemonade, but I am definitely a fan of this super fun bow!

YOUR turn to share your beautiful ribbon creations!
What is your favorite think to make with the gorgeous ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon?
Cards? Home Decor? Scrapbook layouts?
I would love to know and to see your projects!

Thanks for stopping by...Have a Fantabulous Weekend!

HELLO

Welcome by today!  It's your ribbon-loving friend Karen sharing today.  It's always a good time to reach out and say Hello.  Now adays, you can do this in several different ways.  You can get on the old-fashioned telephone (or IPhone), you can text, or you can make a card to send someone to say, "Hello and I've been thinking about you".  Really Reasonable Ribbon always makes it easy and fun to make cards.  They carry fabulous Adhesives as well as trims and twine in every width, color and style you can imagine.
I used black cardstock and a woodgrain pattern paper from The Craft Consortium.  The small telephone stamp and sentiment stamp are from Paper Sweeties.  This card is very simple, basic and very easy to create.  Really Reasonable Ribbon had everything to do with that.  Their wonderful trims add so much texture and personality to our cards and projects, and it's still flat enough to mail.  All the papers and trims are held in place using Scor-Tape and the phone receiver is raised up with 3-D Foam Tabs.
The first trim I added was a piece of 1.5" Grey Netting.  Then I added a length of Black & White Houndstooth Ribbon and finally a length of Oyster Baker's Twine.  The telephone die-cut didn't have the numbers on the dial, so I had to hand write them on there.  Not perfect, but......hey - what can I say?
Like I said, this is very simple and basic.  It's really just to help prove my point that making cards can be very easy, and that Really Reasonable Ribbon has all the perfect touches for every single one.  I hope you'll stop by to treat yourself and be sure to visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog often for loads of great inspiration.  Thanks so much for visiting.

Blessings,
Karen
