  1. What a pretty ribbon assortment!

Since we don't have a/c in our home, we have fans in most windows, those upstairs facing out to blow out the warmer air. It really makes a difference. My mantra has always been 'hydrate', but moreso during hot summer months.

Everyone stay as cool as you can!

  2. Thank goodness for heat pumps and fans! The Pacific NW topped out at 116 a couple of weeks ago. Canada hit a high of 121 degrees! Bring on those Christmas In July projects to fool my brain into thinking about snowflakes and jingle bells!!

  4. Oh that was an amazing hop! Love the gross grain ribbons in this collection - today it is all about RAIN - so that is cooling things off a bit - I still do my walk in the HOT weather - and drink plenty of water-- we have had some high heat for sure- we are totally blessed with air conditioning - so that keeps us cooled off - but honestly - I like cold wind blowing through my bedroom window so I take advantage of that all year long including the winter! Jack Frost biting at my nose - so to say, LOL Thanks for the hop!

  6. Thanks for the Hop! This ribbon assortment is so pretty. I'm keeping cool this summer by floating around in the pool (when it's not raining here in Florida!)

  9. Pretty selection of ribbon for summer. Most days we can get by with a fan and keeping hydrated. When it gets too hot and humid we turn on the AC.

  11. Great hop, thank you! I would have to say we have had a relatively mild summer and we are loving it! Mornings are cool enough to get out and do a bit of yard work then in for the rest of the day with the AC and perhaps some ice cream :)

  12. Great projects on the hop!
It's been in the 90s and low 100s here in northern CA. We have had to run the A/C more than we like.... but occasionally we head over to the beautiful Lake Tahoe area to cool off for the day! It is only about an hour and a half away from home, but it is usually a good ten degrees cooler!

  13. The hops are always fun and I love to look at all the teams makes - they do a great job. The ribbons are reminiscent of a beautiful colorful garden flowers; just pretty and a rainbow of colors! Our summers are hot by the beach and of course we have to have repairs to HVAC done today. So a shower or hose will provide much needed relief...
