Ciao Bella/Stay Put Craft Mat/Video

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Family Layout using Really Reasonable Ribbons and Scor-Pal's Craft Mat! that RRR carries! I also have a video below showing 1 of the ways I use the Stay Put Craft Mat, and RRR.

Bonnie at Really Reasonable Ribbon now carries the Stay Put Craft Mat and I have to say I'm in LOVE with this mat! I've used glue, ink, copics, and paint on this mat and it all wipes clean with a wet rag! LOVE it!!!

Ok, so now onto my Layout! I used the the BEAUTIFUL RRR Satin Brown with Grosgrain edge made by May Arts. I also used the Pink Satin, Pink seam binding,and Tobacco seam binding! The flowers were made with seam binding.  I did a UStream LIVE class on this one with HelmarLive on Ustream a few weeks back. I added a button to the lower flower and a flower to the center of the top flower.

I love crafting my projects now on my new Stay Put Craft Mat! Thank you Bonnie and Scor-Pal!!!

How About Blue and White?!?!

Hi! It's Patti with a really simple card for you today. I've used some beautiful ribbon and Beatrice trim and I've used the Scor-Buddy for the first time!!! I had this beautiful "Faith" collection paper from Moxxie and I thought the beautiful Crocheted Allison trim would be perfect. 

Using the Scor-Buddy, doing a gatefold card was super easy. You just use a piece of paper that is 8/12" long and the score marks are right there for you. Below is a photo of the card open. You could put a beautiful verse or thought inside, but I chose to leave it blank to write a note.

Here you can see a close-up of the ribbon and trim that I used. I used Scor-Tape on the ribbon and trim, it works perfectly!!! The white ribbon is so delicate and worked perfectly with the crocheted trim. I just added the little pins for a finishing touch. I also placed the sentiment on pop-dots for dimension.

And a Happy 4th of July to all of you out there who are 

celebrating the American Independence Day!

Today, I am here with a card featuring not only the gorgeous ribbon found in the Really Reasonable Ribbon store, but also a couple of techniques using the Score Buddy from Score Pal!

For this card, I chose to demonstrate the accordian fold by making the fan embellishment and also the grid technique to create a quilt look behind the scene.

I used the 1/2 inch ivory wrinkled ribbon for the fan tie.

I used the Beatrice White Crochet Lace.

And I used the Allison White Crochet Lace

Happy Pappy Pinwheels...

               Helllllllllo there!  Happy almost 4th of July!  Cherry here today to share a fun Summer project using the Scor-pal buddy.   First off I just have to say I am having so much fun with this little dandy!  It makes it so easy to create perfect folds.  My idea started off with deciding I wanted to try out making some home-made pinwheels.  I have seen such sweet ones here and there and finally decided it was time to create some of my own.  I off course ended up making a pocket for all my goodies...it just always seems to happen that way. 
                                As you can see my first photo shows a couple of pattern pieces...I cut mine into 3 x 3's.  I wanted smaller pinwheels because I decided I wanted them used as tags to top off on presents or a package.  I double layered my squares using scor-tape so they were sturdy and had pattern on both sides.  I than inked them around all the edges and than sat each square on the scor-buddy at a diagonal and scored corner to corner.  This creates 4 "triangles" on each square piece.  From there you simply cut in on each corner using scissors approximately 3/4's of the way.  The scored line from the scor-buddy  makes it easy to cut a straight line.  After you are done with that you fold each alternating corner towards the middle of the square.  I scored these lines as well to get a nice fold.   Once I was done I simply used a bit of hot glue to keep in place.  EAsy PAsy!  NOW...you are ready to add some personality to them!  I used some felt flowers, big red chunky buttons threaded with light blue jute, crochet flowers..whatever suits your fancy.  I topped them off with red seam binding and little mini tags.  I added some lolli-pop sticks to the back side. 
                                        As I said I couldn't stop there....I stitched up a pocket using matching papers and decided to use one of my pinwheels as center stage on the pocket.  I wrapped some yummy chevron twill in light blue around the pocket and made a double bow.  I wanted to add some more texture to the bottom and so I added some Camille crochet lace and pom pom trim.  I also  made a matching card and  simple little bicycle tag using more red seam bindings as well as some bakers twine.  I am calling it a happy pappy pocket with happy pappy pinwheels...why??? I don't know...I just like the name and I just like saying it!  Works for me..lol.....anyways..I hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry

My sentiment is from Inspirational Plate #2 by I Brake for Stamps. I stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink on Tea for Two designer paper by Cosmo Cricket. The Ivory Box Pleated Ribbon and Penelope Crocheted Lace are just perfect for the designer paper. The pearls (Chino) are my favorite non-ribbon embellishment in the RRR Store!
