Hot Cocoa Sleigh with RRR

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today's post is a Hot Cocoa Sleigh I put together for a gift and for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous ribbons that Bonnie carries in the shop.

For the sleigh I bought it at Hobby Lobby and then used the cricut to cut out some vinyl for the Merry Christmas. Next I used the Plaid Ribbon Christmas in the 5/8" and 3/8" for the bows on the sleigh and the hot cocoa jar. for the chocolate spoons I used the grosgrain Swiss dot ribbon in 3/8" . I hot glued the ribbons, poinsettias and holly leaves on the sleigh. I did tie on a gingerbread boy spoon for the hot cocoa. and there are two gnome ornaments inside the sleigh. Super fun to make . Lastly I used a sweetheart blossom on the holly leaves and its hot glued on as well

Hope you enjoyed my post today and thank you so much for stopping by! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all
Hugs, Cheryl

Merry Christmas Treat Pocket Tag

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I'm sharing another fun Christmas pocket tag, this one is a pocket one I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon, it can hold hot cocoa and a stir stick, or candys or whatnot. Love making these as they are so fun to create and give as gifts.
Love that you can take your large dies, and create these pockets, and then decorate them up using other dies and embellishments. I used the beautiful ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon, one is a Forest Green Satin, and the other is a christmas plaid. I used the Kadoodle Bug Designs Christmas cup ginger that I had put together last year. Love these! The sentitment tags are stampinup! I added some white dots, and then a little santa hat button up on the top bow.

Adding Sparkle with Christmas Ribbons

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  If you want to add a festive feel to your holiday cards this Christmas, why not add some sparkle with a little ribbon?

The October Ribbon Club assortment is filled with all sorts of cheerful  holiday trims in traditional Christmas colors.  I love this combination of Forest Green Swirls Satin, crochet lace and Poppy Red Gauze Print Satin Ribbons.

Tying printed ribbon can be a little tricky, but if you have a Zutter Bow-it-All Tool, it is easy as pie! I used my Bow-it-All Tool ( and Bonnie's video tutorial) to tie this double loop satin bow.  Then I glued it under my handmade poinsettia to serve in place of leaves.

These tags pull out of the pocket on the front of the card.  The larger tag was a bit plain until I dressed it up with ribbon and crochet lace.  Now it's ready for the Christmas party.

I even used ribbon on the inside of my card.

It provided a lovely closure for this little folio.

Here's a peeky at the inside.

I hope I've shared some fun ideas that you can use to dress up your own holiday cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cheerio,
kathy

Christmas Hair Accessories

Hi all,

Today is my last post for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I am so sad to be leaving such a wonderful team. I feel so honored to have been a part of Bonnie's team and to have worked with her for the past 6 months.I have learned so much from Bonnie and the team. I truly have loved every minute of it and loved working with such beautiful ribbons from her store. Thank you Bonnie for having me on your team, I've had so much fun!

For my last post I made a few items with the beautiful ribbons from this months Ribbon Club Assortment - Traditional Christmas Mix. I seriously had a hard time deciding on what to make. lol
I made several different hair accessories with this beautiful assortment. I used Bonnie's tutorial again to make the hairband and I made a baby hair clip and a regular hair clip. Of course I am giving a couple to my granddaughter and one to my great neice Sophia, who was just born.

Here are the items I used to make all my Hair Accessories, you can find all these at
Headband, Rectangular clips, and Round Head Snap Clips

Here is a photo showing all the items using the

For this headband I used Bonnie's tutorial showing you how to use ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon to create these awesome headbands. I added a bow on top of the headband with a little red flower embellishment.

Here is a close up of the little red flower embellishment.
These are new in the store and they are so so cute. I totally love these
little embellishment. They are 10mm Resin Flower with Rhinestone Flatback
Cabochons. I have the multi colored pack that comes with red, white and other colors.

Here is a photo of the two hair clips I created using October ribbon club assortment -
Traditional Christmas Mix. These ribbons are truly beautiful bright greens and reds for
Christmas, they are just gorgeous. I coldn't help but add the cute little flowers in the middle.
These little flowers are just so cute. Great addition to any project.

Here is the back of the first hairclip using the 2 3/8 inch round head snap clip.
I only glued the ribbon on the top of the clip and at the ends of the bottom of the clip, as I didn't
want it to have an affect on the opening and closing of the clip. I created a triple layered bow with my Bow it All, bow maker. I then double layered my bows, last I glued the little acrylic flower on top of the bow.

A close up of the side of the 2nd hair clip, showing how I glued the ribbon onto the Rectangular clip with teeth.  These little hair clips are just perfect to make baby hair clips.

Supplies:

Thank you all so much for stopping by today I so appreciate it. I hope you are inspired to use some of these items. I just love using the ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  They are just gorgeous, and the flowers are just beautiful. Check out the items I used plus other wonderful items at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.  As I sign off for the last time with Really Reasonable Ribbon I would like say again, Thank you Bonnie for inviting me on your team and all your support.

Hugs and wishing you all a great crafty day,

Holly Wreaths and LOTV

Hi and welcome to the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog today!  It's been a fun month sharing our Christmas ribbon collection with all of you and today I have another idea using some of the pre-printed cards that you can get from one of my favorite companies in the UK called Lily of the Valley.  You can get a huge stack of these so they are perfect to get lots of ribbon and card stock and make up some fun things to give away for Christmas.
For this set I used red satin ribbon on the box to make it look like it was wrapped and just a bit of tiny checked ribbon for the tree.  Adding glitter and ribbons gives you more depth and texture to otherwise flat projects so it's a really fun and easy thing to do with your projects.
Here is a closeup of my box.  The papers are from Bo Bunny and for the top I cut/embossed the printed card with a Spellbinders die and then added a matted base in red to make it pop more.
It's always nice to send a matching card to wow them so I did this as a folded shaped card and then added some glitter on the top.
For this card I used a new Holly Die set from Spellbinders for the base and then cut the printed cards with another rectangle die to emboss the outside edges.  It's super easy to do and gives it such a nice finished look.  And then to finish it I glued a ribbon bow over the top and added some glitter.
Here is a closer look at the top of the card for you to see.  I think I will have to make a few more of these to send out this year.

And that's all for my share but be sure and check back again for more fun ideas this month from all of us and don't forget the Christmas Challenge to get a chance to win this month's ribbon set!!  Have a wonderful and crafty day.....

Christmas Mini Page 2 with Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with Page 2 of a Christmas Mini I'm currently working on for a Christmas Gift.  On this page I used some more of the beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon that is in this month's Ribbon Club Kit.  I LOVE all the Christmas ribbons and lace in this month's kit.

I used ribbon for the tag pulls, and also made bows for all the tags. There are two tags to the left that pull out for photos, and one tag at the bottom for more photos.  All have bows and ribbon pulls on them.

Next I added some of the beautiful lace to the left bottom corner, and then the right upper corner. In the photo below, you will see some of the Green Delicate Stitched Satin, used as tag pulls on both of the tags on the inside.

I love how this 2nd page turned out for my mini.  It's been a long time since I've made a Christmas Mini, so I'm super excited to be working on this one.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a super wonderful day!

Hugs to all,
Cheryl
