Christmas tag

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I made a super fun Christmas tag using Really Reasonable Ribbon Club Assortment that was in November . I chose the Sherry Taffeta Ribbon & Merry Christmas on Tan satin . Love how this one turned out.

For my tag I chose some larger die cuts , and did different layers, using foam tabs to give it some dimension. Nest I stamped my sentiment on the oval frame using black ink, and then hot glued the flowers, and bead berry sprays. My bows were done using the Taffeta and Satin, tied together using the stem from the flowers. I love using those to tie my bows. Lastly I added some bakers twine to tie onto my package.

Thank you for stopping by and Hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Hugs to all, Cheryl

Merry Christmas

Just four days before Christmas.  Where has the year gone?  As we approach Christmas, and all year long, we all want you all to know how very grateful we are for your visits to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, for your comments, your participation in our Blog Hops, and most especially for your support of Really Reasonable Ribbon.  We're grateful for you, and we really hope that you will always remember Really Reasonable Ribbon for all your ribbons, trims, and all sorts of crafting needs.
Today I'm sharing a sweet shabby chic card I created using lots of great products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I just LOVE that I can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have the perfect trims (and SO much more) for every crafty project I tackle.  No matter what the theme, the color pattern, the type of project, or most any other variable; I'm always sure to find exactly what I need at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This shabby chic card was no exception.  I used some (super old) Simple Stories patterned papers scraps (from their Homemade Holiday line), a Melissa Frances chipboard piece, and LOTS of fabulous goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I added some rusty jingle bells tied with Red Burlap String and Natural Burlap String.  I also added half of a tea-stained doily, and ran a length of Natural Crochet Lace up my card and I incorporated it into my bow.  I tucked in plenty of Natural Burlap String bows, and added a Bronze Rusty Pear-Shaped Safety Pin from our Embellishments selection.  I also added several Wine Red Miniature Double Head StamensFossil Miniature Double Head Stamens and Milk White Miniature Double Head Stamens.  And finally, I cut and tucked in even more of the Miniature Double Head Stamens and the pieces from one cluster of a Red Berry Bead Cluster Spray.  There are truly SO many lovely touches at Really Reasonable Ribbon to give your projects all the beautiful extras they deserve.
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek at this sweet and simple card.  Really Reasonable Ribbon makes it super easy to give your cards and projects those special touches.  Why not stop by the store and do some last minute Christmas shopping for the one person who wasn't on your list.....yourself.  These treats will DELIGHT you!

Blessings,
Karen Letchworth

I am excited to share one of my newest layouts...
Little Women using beautiful lace, flowers and burlap jute.
I added a bow with the Ivory Burlap Jute - one of my favorites for adding a little dimension.  Next for softness, I added the beautiful Arianna Lace.
For some fun dimension, I added the White Bead Berry Cluster.
Next, I continued to add photos, images, flowers, buttons and stickers to complete this fun and easy layout.  I hope this inspires you to create a layout to capture your memories.

Rejoice & Be Thankful Christmas Card

Hello ribbon lovers!  Have you started making your Christmas cards this year?  It is easy to create beautiful cards with Graciellie Digital Designs and embellish them with Really Reasonable Ribbon products.
For this easy card, I printed out several of the papers in the Holiday Traditions digital pack and Cheery Christmas stamps.  I colored in the sweet wreath using colored pencils.
This was a fun and easy card to complete.  Hoping this inspires you to create some handmade Christmas cards to give.

Filling Up Your Stocking

Hello sweet creatives!
I have been in the Christmas spirit lately and started creating some vintage inspired projects using beautiful lace, trims, and embellishments from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I grabbed a small knitted stocking, added buttons and the beautiful Francis White Crochet Lace around the top.  Next I added a bow with the Peppermint Baker's Tine and tucked under the sweet Silver Snowflake Charm.
I filled the stocking with fun vintage inspired image, plastic deer, and tucked in the Red Berry Cluster and White Spiral Stamen.  Then I dusted it with mica flakes to finish off.
This Christmas project was fun and easy to complete.  I hope it inspired you to put a little creativity into your day, sweet friends.

Valentines Telescope Fold Card

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with a super fun fold Telescoping Valentines card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their BEAUTIFUL Ribbon, Flowers, and embellishments. These cards are so much fun to make, and are super CUTE! Perfect for any holiday, or just because.

On my card I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Sweetheart Blossoms, Leaves, and Bead berry sprays cluster pink to create a flower swag around the heart and sentiment.

Sentiment and heart are from The Project Bin.

Little pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon Embellishments "Imitation heart pearl bead flatback"

In the photo above, you can see where you can add writing on the white, and it will be hidden. LOVE that!!!

I so enjoyed making my card to share with you all today! Hope you enjoyed my post, and if you haven't made one of these yet, you should, as they are so easy and super fun!!! Enjoy!!!

Merry Christmas Doily Tag

Hello everyone,
Today's Merry Christmas Doily Tag was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon (using the beautiful shimmer ribbon from the December Ribbon Club Assortment, flowers, bead sprays, and spiral stamens).  I just LOVE the way this tag turned out with all the beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon flowers and such. This one is going on a present for under our tree  and already has the writing on the back :)
Tag Design:
Tag was made using Cheery Lynn's Sophia's Heart Doily Die
I then cut 2 circles, 1 for the front (IBFS sentiment), and 1 for the back (to write on). I also airbrushed it lightly on the front with a soft blue copic.
I Brake For Stamps Elegant Merry Christmas was stamped using the Mini Misti tool, and 2 StampinUp! markers. Love the look of the sentiment in the blues.
Flowers, stamens, bead sprays, and ribbon are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and all were hot glued on for ribbon cluster look.

Supplies Used:
Really Reasonable Ribbon:
Flowers Cherry Blossoms, and Sweetheart Blossoms, Bead Berry Sprays, Spiral Stamen , Ribbon from this months club kit
I Brake For Stamps:
Elegant Merry Christmas Stamp
Cheery Lynn Dies:
Sophia's Heart DL184
Circle LPC4 Die
Branches: Martha Stewart Punch
Pens StampinUp!
White card stock for all paper used

This year I have been enjoying creating tags for our gifts. It makes it nice to have big tags for the gifts under the tree as its easier to read who it goes too...hehehehe. Anyway, this is a first for me this year. So far I'm up to 9 tags made. I need more, I think at least 1 for each person would be nice! I enjoyed designing this tag, as I do all my tags.  They really make for nice gifts too!
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Christmas in July: Blue Christmas Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

How are you surviving the summer heat? It has been sweltering here in North Carolina.  I only go outside to water my herbs and check the mail...and even then I break into a sweat.  Ugh!  So I've been spending a lot of time in my studio working on building up my card stash.  And to help keep myself cool, I decided to work ahead (for a change) on my Christmas cards.  And what is cooler for Christmas than a frosty blue, silver and white color palette, and shimmery Blue Topaz Satin Swiss Dots Ribbon

I bet you feel 5 degrees cooler just looking at this icy cool card!  I used my Zutter-Bow-it-All to create a triple loop bow with the Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon.  I love how soft and shimmery this ribbon is, and so easy to work with!  I topped it off with a little bead/berry spray to add even a little more glitz and glam to this holiday card.

The beautiful image is from Polly's Paper Studio Retro Christmas Creative Kit.  I added a little glitter and stitched the focal to white burlap.   The beautiful bow and layered silver snowflake framed the image perfectly.

Here's a peeky at the inside:

Now that's one Christmas card down...and only about 99 to go!  Hope you are staying cool and finding time to be creative!

Cheerio,
kathy
