Little Women Layout

Hello ribbon lovers!  

I am excited to share one of my newest layouts... 

Little Women using beautiful lace, flowers and burlap jute.

 I added a bow with the Ivory Burlap Jute - one of my favorites for adding a little dimension.  Next for softness, I added the beautiful Arianna Lace.

 For some fun dimension, I added the White Bead Berry Cluster.

Next, I continued to add photos, images, flowers, buttons and stickers to complete this fun and easy layout.  I hope this inspires you to create a layout to capture your memories.

Chicken Pin Cushions

Hello Crafty Friends, and Happy Friday to you all! Today I'm sharing a Chicken Pin Cushion that I made using ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to embellish with. It's always nice to find other ways to use ribbon and laces, and I think this was a fun way! I Love how these turned out, using ribbons, seam binding, lace, flowers, and leaves all from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

So for the tail feathers I chose to rouche up seam binding instead of using material.  I used this in place of it. This is the Rose Petal Seam Binding from RRR.  I also wanted to use some ribbons, and chose for my ribbon treatment on my chicken to use the Delicate Stitched Ribbon and Pink Canvas Colored Band with Stitched Edge Ribbon.  I used a Rose bud in Hot pink and 2 metal Antique Bronze leaf charms to finish off my ribbon treatment. For the the top feathers I used the beautiful Lace called Arianna Lace.

The material I used is one of my Favorites, it's called Welcome Home.  It's a cotton, and I love the shabby chic/Vintage look along with all of the beautiful supplies from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used a lot of my favorites on this one. I ended up making 5 of these pin cushions some with feathers, and others with the lace and seam binding, super fun project if you like to give it a try :)

 Here is a photo of two of the chickens I made. The smaller one was made from leftover quilting squares I had. I also used the same seam bindings, adding a white one, and then some white lace. Christmas Joy Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all!
Today's Christmas Joy card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using beautiful Lace & Ribbon from the RRR store.

I hope you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving, spending it with your loved ones. :)

For my card I kept this super simple, no sewing, and just two layers, as this week was a crazy week for me, and I'm sure for many of you too.

I started with a 6 x12 card stock in brown, and scored it to create a 6 x6 card base. Next I cut one of the Graphic45 design papers to 5 3/4" x 5 3/4"and attached it using the new Scotch Advanced tape roll from Really Reasonable Ribbon, love this stuff! I used it to attach each layer.
Next I used the foam tabs to give the layer 3-D look. I also used them on the little Christmas sentiment tag.

For embellishing, I used the sweet Antique Bronze Vintage Flower charms in the corners of the image and on the little sentiment tag. Next I made a big beautiful bow out of the satin swirl ribbon that came in the November Ribbon assortment.  I love this ribbon, it's absolutely beautiful! I went for a different look by adding the lace down each side of my card front. It's the beautiful Arianna Natural Crocheted Lace.  Lastly I added my flower charm to the center of the bow.

Ribbon & Lace Paper Doll (Framed)

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!

So I just had to make another one of these Beautiful Vintage Paper Dolls done in Ribbon & Lace. We made one for my mom's doll club, and I thought how perfect it would be to use all Really Reasonable Ribbon on one of these :) So I chose to use the Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon that Bonnie carries, and the beautiful lace too. Also I used the Mini Sweetheart Blossoms. On my first one I made all my flowers by hand, but for this one, I thought it would be fun to change it up a bit.

Supplies:
Vintage Paper doll (pattern from my mom) done with Ribbons & Lace(plus flowers)
Really Reasonable Ribbon Moss Green Seam binding for the greenery on bonnet and bouquet. I ruched it up, and then added some of the Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms in Mixed Purple /Lilac.

The Bonnet has some of the Delicate Stitched Satin from the Purple Assortment. I LOVE all the colors in the assortment. The greenery is the Seam binding Moss Green, and then I used a flower from the Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms

Dress is done with the Delicate Stitched Satin in Light Orchid color ribbon. And the lace is the Arianna Natural Crocheted Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.

 

Here above is a photo of her out of the frame. These are so fun to make, and it just shows you another way to use Really Reasonable Ribbon :)

Vintage Floral Doll

Good Day All,

Deborah here today showing you a tag I created using a few ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.   I used Cotton Blend Vintage Pink Floral , two different seam binding colors Vivid Pink & Moss, one of the pink ribbons from the Diamond Satin Assortment Pretty Pink, and Arianna Natural Crochet Lace.  I also used Wild Orchid Craft Trellis Roses Mixed Pink Tones. 

Well here is the 1st step I did - I took my Julie Nutting Stamp using tuxedo black Momento ink and stamped it on the Cotton Blend Vintage Pink Floral. Then I fussy cut the dress out from the ribbon.

Here is a close up of the JN Doll with the Cotton Blend Vintage Pink Floral. 

I glued it down to the JN Doll, added some tiny pearls to the dress and to the doll's 

neckline for a necklace and colored the bottom of the dress, and used glossy accents

on the hairband and the bottom of the dress. 

Here is the tag. I really had fun creating this tag and using so many assorted ribbons 

from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store. I also created a little tag on the very bottom 

using one of the pink ribbons from the Diamond Satin Assortment Pretty Pink. I used a brad 

to attach it to the small tag and I created the little envelope for it to fit into so it pulls out. 

I used the Arianna Natural Crochet Lace at the top of tag and layered it up at the bottom.

The seam binding Vivid Pink & Moss are tied together at the very top, I really like how 

the pink and moss look together, it's just so pretty. 

Here is a close up of the beautiful Trellis Roses I used.  I just love these roses. 

Aren't they just stunning, especially used with the Arianna Lace. I created the rosettes 

first using a needle and thread, then glued my roses on top of them. I thought it

was a great addition to the vintage look I was going for using the Graphic 45 paper. 

 Here are two more flower rosettes using the beautiful Arianna lace rosettes I created.

And I glued the roses on top of the rosettes.  You can also see how doubled the lace up

on the bottom, below the roses.

Vintage Floral ATC's

Hi all,

It's Deborah here today with my very first post here on Really Reasonable Ribbon. Yea! I am so happy to belong to such a wonderful group of ladies and I look forward to sharing my creations with you all.

I am so happy to be sharing a few ATC's (Artist Trading Cards are 2 1/2 by 3 1/2). I made from using a few of the fabulous ribbons from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

For the base of each ATC I used a 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 cardboard, then adhered the 2 1/2 inch Cotton Blend Print Ribbon to the cardboard with score tape.
*** I did a splash of white paint on top of the Cotton Blend Print Ribbon and the edges.

This one I used the Vintage Pink Floral ribbon for 

the background & leaves I just placed around

the ATC and added my flowers. 

The lace is adhered with glue and I added small pearls. 

 For this one I used the Vintage Garden

Cotton Blend Ribbon. I used a bit of 

white paint on the background over 

the ribbon and added the pretty Rose, 

which I painted and spritzed with pearl spray.  

 Adhered the beautiful Arianna Crochet Lace.

The last one I used Vintage Garden, so pretty I 

just love these Cotton Blend Printed Ribbons. 

Added the Arianna Crochet Lace, which I folded

 the edge of the lace behind the ATC.

To finish it off I added the cute little 

Sweetheart Blooms at the bottom.
