Really Reasonable Ribbon November Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to another amazing Blog Hop here at the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Readings Blog! First off, thank you to everyone that has taken part in our Winter themed challenge. If you haven't joined us yet, you still have a little time to get your entries in. We'd love to have you play along. New challenges post on the 1st and the 15th of each month.

  1. Thanks to you Bonnie and the team for a wonderful experience. This has been my first time round here and loved all the work.. My favourite cookie, well that is difficult. I love Christmas mince pies, but I make Dutch spekulaas cookies, as my DH is Dutch and these are so lovely and spicy and when I bake them the aroma is wonderful. Warm wishes from sunny and hot SA.

  2. What a great hop :-) Nice way to start this weekend. (Didn't find any post at Tilly's though.., but left a comment still). These ribbons are absolutely beautiful :-)
    My fav Christmas cookie, must be the gingerbread in all kinds of shapes, baked together with the kids, with Christmas songs played in the background and (preferably) snow outside !

  3. Up to the blog of Tilly I was everywhere. What made for wonderful things with the great bands. It was amazing to see the beautiful creations. It was great fun.

    My favorite sweet of Christmas is the nougat but, though I have never done them, they seem to me to be very nice the gingerbread

    I've never done a blog hop, but it was really fun. Thanks. I agree about Tilly's grandson--adorable. I love cookies and am getting hungry just reading about all of the ones above. My favorite for Christmas are Mexican wedding cakes. A note to Peanut Blossom lovers--try them with mini Reese's peanut butter cups--even better than Hershey kisses!

    My favorite Christmas cookie has to be sugar cookies, so many great memories of cutting out the shapes with my kids and keeping them out of the dough while it in ref. Thanks for recreating those memories this morning. :)

  15. Thanks for the was my first and I LOVE the ribbon assortment. My favorite cookie is just a butter cookie with a cherry in the center. My grandmother made them every Christmas and they were excellent.

I can't believe I'm saying this because I'm a chocoholic, but my favorite Christmas cookies are Scottish shortbread; probably a big reason that I gain weight at this time of year ;) Thanks for the chance at these gorgeous ribbons!

  29. What a wonderful hop and the ladies projects were so beautiful! My favorite holiday cookie was a cookie that my mom made every year that she made from a rolled out dough that I have yet to duplicate. She cut it in circles and then put a little bit of jam on it with a rolled out top that was cut. I swear this cookie just melted in your mouth. Maybe this year I will get it right but I try every year and it brings wonderful thoughts of my mom and I feel like she is here with me. Thanks for a fun hop!

    Being a fluffy girl....I love All cookies but my fave Christmas time cookie is butter-cream frosted sugar cut out cookies with sprinkles. Not entering for the draw of course...just sayin'! LOL!

My fav hoilday cookie is Sugar Cookies of course :D but my MIL makes these cookies i think they're called Mexican Wedding cookies or something like that and they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Good.. :) thanks for the chance to win!

    My favorite cookie was called Butter Balls by my family. They are very close to Russian Tea Cookies,...if not exactly the same. I still have my deceased mothers written recipe card, and taking it out is a special part of the holiday season for me.

  36. Hi Bonnie~The design team has absolutely out done themselves! Stunning and breathtaking projects! The use of November's Club ribbon was amazing - gorgeous colors! My favorite Christmas cookies would have to be Lady Fingers my mom always made (pecans and powdered sugar). They're probably known too as Pecan Cookies.     My all-time favorite Christmas cookie is my Mom's Pecan Balls. They are sweet and tiny and crunchy and yummy and you just pop them in your mouth for a wonderful treat! Of course, like everyone else in the world, I think MY Mom's cookies are the best! LOL

    Answering your question about the candy at Christmas in my country used to enjoy English and sweet bread pudding, fruit coated with chocolate and of course I love them!

    My fav cookie? biscuits/cake in UK hard one as I make my own Christmas cakes & have for 40yrs..but love trad. Scottish Shortbread..

    I started at Jacque and ended up here after having seen all! Commented on most, too.

    My favourite cookie for the season is ginger bread! Here in Sweden we use them flat and hard but in Holland, where my mother lives, there's another version that is more like a bread, soft and very tasty with a little butter on!!!

  58. Heavens!!! I have to pick just one as my favorite??? Well, since I am forced to do so I would have to say that my raspberry bars (Land 'O Lakes recipe) are my favorite.
