FUN Ribbon Decoration/Wall Hanging

Hello, dear blog friends.  I'm so glad you've stopped by today as I share a couple of FUN little projects using just a few of  (thousands) the beautiful trims carried at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  They always have the perfect ribbon, trim, twine, lace, and all you could ever need in the way of spooled things.  You'll never have to search for the perfect trim again when you shop at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  In fact, they carry SO much more at Really Reasonable Ribbon than the oodles of trims in stock.  They also carry helpful crafting items such as Adhesives, Embellishments, Mulberry Flowers, Hair Accessories and more.
The projects I'm sharing today are.....well, they can be whatever you want them to be.  A wall hanging, a decorative piece for your dresser, sofa table, etc.  There are SO many wonderful trims at Really Reasonable Ribbon and I enjoy using them in many different and creative ways.  This first little decoration (well, both of them really) was created using some frames from Crate Paper that I layered together.  I created a background, and added some sequins to create a shaker element.
The ribbon at the base of this first project is the lovely 3/4" Pink Champagne Chevron Twill, and I cut two lengths of it, side by side, and attached near the top - just above where I attached the shaker element.  You will also see that I added several gorgeous Miniature Double Head Stamens, a Peach Magnolia from Mixed Pastels, and several sweet Yellow Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms from the Mixed Pastels.
How sweet!  I just love everything found at Really Reasonable Ribbon and how all these AWESOME products help me create something wonderfully creative and unique.  This little set of Crate Paper shaped frames had another shape, so I created a second project.  This one starts with more of that fabulous 3/4" Chevron Twill, but this time it's the 3/4" Black Chevron Twill that I used.
I put my shakers together using some fabulous Adhesives such as the Scor-Tape and 3-D Foam Tabs.  I also decorated the top of this hanger with some lovely Mulberry Flowers and goodies.  This includes a Red Open Rose and two Black Open Roses as well as several Miniature Double Head Stamens and a piece of Solid Red Baker's Twine.  If you have any questions about any of the products I used (or anything else), you're always welcome to leave me a message here, or stop by my blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to let me know.  I'm always happy to help.
I hope you've enjoyed these FUN little projects I created.  And YOU can create something fun and exciting as well.  Just grab some new RIBBONS, maybe the Ribbon Club Assortment, some GinghamsLaces and Mulberry Flowers, and.....there you go!  Let the creativity begin.  Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to stop by here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog each day for lots more great inspiration from all my talented teammates.  We always enjoy your visits.

Blessings,
Karen

Nautical Slimline Card

Hello friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with a slimline card created with a nautical theme.

For this card I'm using patterned papers in warm rich colors .  The burgundy paper in the background has a bit of a bohemian vibe.

I created this arrangement with some deconstructed Lotus flowers. I simply removed the darker layers on the bottom and joined 2 together to create a perfect sized layering flower.

For the perfect accent I'm using the Navy Wrinkle Ribbon to create a nice loopy bow that's adhered just under the flowers to fill in the arrangement.

~Really Reasonable Ribbon~ Sapphire Blue Lotus Flowers, Navy Wrinkle Ribbon, Ivory Burlap String.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Non-traditional Winter Birthday Card by Cherry Nelson

Hello my fellow ribbon lovers.  Cherry here today! I hope that your holidays were healthy, merry, and spent with those you love.  Today I am sharing a card created with that special someone you might know that has the dreaded winter birthday.  It takes one to know one...mine falls right before Christmas.  I always got some of my birthday presents wrapped in Christmas paper; so  I think it is always a little extra special to remember someone that has a birthday around this time of year.  Make them a winter themed birthday card, I promise they will appreciate it.

I used a combination of ribbons and twines from Bonnie's store (make sure to scroll down for full supply list) The image is an old vintage one from a 1960's Christmas card.  I loved the non traditional colors, especially the yellow.  To me it helped to keep this card still in season, but not screaming Christmas.

I created a shaker with my circle dies and filled it with some fun sequins.  From there, a couple of vintage buttons were added with the thread still in them.   I then embossed a birthday sentiment, added some pretty florals and leaves and called it a day!

I love how it turned out ...and I LOVE that I got to use this pretty non traditional plaid.  I could use ginghams and plaids all day long...and some polka dots too and never tire of them.

Hope that you have enjoyed this and please stay healthy and creative (of course!!!)

XOXO,

Cherry

Winter Birthday Wishes Card

Prima Christmas in the Country Winter Birthday Card by Kathy Clement Kathy by Design for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 01

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  I hope you all had a blessed and beautiful Christmas holiday.  It comes and goes so quickly, doesn't it?  The good news is, the ribbons in the December Ribbon Club Assortment work beautifully for winter birthday cards, too!

This bold check paper needed an alternate pattern to settle it down.  So I created borders with the 3/8" Bird Print Satin ribbon from the club.  It also helped to draw the eye to the framed image on the card front.

Do you see the gorgeous snowflake button at the top of the frame?  I tucked just a snippet of Silver Metallic Grosgrain Ribbon behind it to make it stand out.

Finally, a triple loop Black Houndstooth Bow anchored my flower cluster perfectly.  This is one of my "must have" ribbons.  It is always in my stash because it ties such gorgeous bows and it tends to go with any color palette or theme..

Here's a peek at the inside.  I created a little tea wallet from a 3x4 card.  Then I tucked a gift card wallet and a sentiment card in the pocket on the bottom.

I hope I've shared some ideas for using your December Ribbon Club Assortment on more than just Christmas cards.

Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy

BLESSED Gift Card Folder/Glassine Bag

Hello blog friends, Karen here.....and welcome by today as I share a fun project featuring some of the FABULOUS products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The card/folder I'm sharing today uses a couple of the amazing trims found in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment along with a few different favorites of mine.  I have SO many "favorites" in this month's collection, and at RRR in general; and that makes it very difficult to narrow it down to just a couple of them to put on my card.  I tend to just pile on LOTS of goodies when it comes to Really Reasonable Ribbon.  But in this case, I used only a couple of the trims from this month's Ribbon Club Assortment.  Let me just say, you WILL WANT this gorgeous assortment.
Someone asked me if I could make several different Christmas card/gift holders for various people on her Christmas list.  I knew right away this would be a really FUN order to fill.  I love using glassine bags and small treat bags for this very purpose.  Using bags is a great way to create natural "pockets" where you can tuck in photo mats, gift cards, and journalling pages, etc.  That's exactly what I have here from just one glassine bag folded over and decorated.  Lots of FABULOUS Scor-Tape happening here, friends.
I used a medium sized glassine bag that I folded in half and covered it with patterned papers, a plastic page, some washi tapes and snippets of paper to cover the pages.  I wanted to leave the pages blank (just paper covered) so that each page could be used as a photo mat or a spot for journalling a message, the date, etc. and there are pockets for tucking in photos, messages, memories/trinkets and more.  I thought personal photos would be super cute on the inside pages.  SO many cute projects can be made using paper bags, glassine bags, or any small treat bag.   Scor-Tape holds everything together securely, and Really Reasonable Ribbon has ALL the other perfect touches to help you complete a project like this one.
The front of this sweet bag is decorated with a piece of the 5/8" Sherry Diamond Satin, and a bow that includes the 3/8" Bird Print on Antique White Satin, Green, Red and Ivory Burlap String, and is topped with an Antique White Lotus Flower.  The title on the front of the book (gift card holder) was stamped with the word BLESSED from Paper Sweeties.  On each side of the sentiment spot, I placed a White Flatback Pearl accent.  They're such a pretty little touch on either side of my sweet sentiment.  Can you tell that I LOVE the 3/8" Bird Print on Antique White Satin, ??? I used it here again on the inside page.  It's just so cute.
There are so many great products at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  You're sure to find something different and wonderful every time you stop by.  There is just SO much to see.  You'll stop by for ribbons, and you'll quickly find out there's SO much more.  So pretty, so sweet, and SO reasonably priced.  Why not treat yourself to a few Christmas goodies?  Go on, you deserve it!

Thanks for stopping by!
