Bundle of Joy

Let me start by wishing you a Happy Easter!  By the time this posts I will be getting ready to make Easter dinner.  I may be in the kitchen but I can be in two places at once...kinda!  It is my day here at RRR and this month we are product swapping with Crafty Secrets.  Lots of fun inspiration this month! So excited, make sure to keep checking in with the RRR and Crafty Secrets blog for all the gal's projects.
I chose to use these adorabbbbbbbbbbbble Baby girl printable images.   I used almost the whole page....could not stop playing with them.  I started with a chipboard scallop album and went to work adorning it.  Along with the sweet images I used several RRR ribbons including ribbons from this month's ribbon club.  I also used rose petal seam bindingscor-tape adhesive, and buttons from the store.  I added lots of sweet little doodads from my stash.  Doilies, chipboard pieces, pearls, etc.  Just had fun embellishing.  This is perfect for that new mom....great gift for Mother's Day!  Hope you enjoy!    Cherry

Birthday Blessings

Hi there crafty peeps!  Welcome to day two of the  Really Reasonable Ribbon/Crafty Secrets cross promotional event.  Bonnie kicked it all off yesterday, so if you missed her great post make sure to go check it out!

I made my card base with some lovely patterned papers from Webster's Pages that I pulled from my stash.  I matted them to pale pink cardstock.  I then matted a beautiful spring Mum image from the Digital Flowers Printable Sheet printed on white 65lb cardstock.  I also cut out and mounted a sentiment from the Little Blessings Creative Scraps.  Both the image and the sentiment were inked around the edges with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  I created a band around the card and a triple loop/double layered bow with Lyndsay White Crochet Lace and Aqua Double Faced Satin Ribbon.  I added some sparkle to the main image with clear fine art glitter.  I added some flat backed pearls as a final accent to the card.

I hope you enjoy my inspiration today.  Head on over to both  Really Reasonable Ribbon and Crafty Secrets for loads of wonderful crafty products!

There are so many fabulous goodies available at Crafty Secrets that I had a hard time making my selections.  Today I used the Digital Flowers Printable Sheet along with Grand Greetings Digital Stamp set.

I printed the digital image and sentiment on ivory cardstock and inked all the edges with gathered twigs Distress Ink.  I also added some natural mulberry paper which I love.  My beautiful bows were made with my Bow-it-All V2.0 tool using ribbons from my April assortment.  To view all my bow making videos, please visit my YouTube channel.

The colors on this digital image worked perfectly with the colors in the new April Ribbon Club Assortment.  I just love an aqua and coral color palette - looks like spring!

Be sure to hop over to the Crafty Secrets Blog and visit them this month too.  Their design team will be showcasing projects featuring Crafty Secrets designs along with the April Ribbon Club Assortment this month.  It will be fun to see what they create as well.

You'll be seeing lots more Crafty Secrets designs on my Make Time to Craft Blog in the next few months.  I hope you'll visit me there.

To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customize > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)

Clean and Simple Ribbon

Hey everyone, it's Dana.  I wanted to share a quick card using some beautiful sheer organza ribbon today.  Sometimes on a card you just need a really pretty piece of ribbon to make your card stand out and wow the recipient. So let's take a look at my card.  I didn't want to add a lot of fuss to my card.  It needed to be clean and simple.  So I just stamped a simple image and let my bow do all the work.

I fell in love with this gorgeous dark brown sheer organza ribbon with the satin center.  It is so easy to work with and it makes fantastic bows. Here's a better look at this beautiful ribbon.  It has just a touch of sparkle to it.  It's such a rich dark brown and add just the right touch for my card.
I was able to make this bow using the Bow-It-All V-2.  I'm telling you, this is a must have for every kind of crafter.  You will make some fabulous bows with this tool.  I'm bow challenged and this tool makes me shine.  LOL

Thanks for hanging out with me today.  I hope you enjoyed your visit.  Make sure to pick up some of the fun ribbon right here at RRR store.  Bonnie has a ton of gorgeous ribbon for you to play with.  Have a great day everyone.

Celebrate Spring Easter Card

Hey there Paper Peeps! Well it's just about that time to get into your Easter Baskets. I'm hoping for Starburst Jelly Beans. Oh why do I have to love those so much???  I'm dropping in to share a Shabby Easter Card I created with the April Ribbon Club Assortment and patterned papers from Graphic 45.

These colors remind me of sherbet ice cream!!!!  This card is for my MIL ...she will act surprised when she sees it..that's how we roll lol.
I used Sweet Sentiments and Precious Memories paper to go with the bright cheerful colors of the Ribbon Club Assortment. I fussy cut lots of flowers and layered them over the vintagy Easter images and die cut frame.

Okay that's it for me wishing you all a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative : ) G
