Vintage Botany Card

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their beautiful satins. This one is the Satin with Grosgrain Edge, and it's absolutely gorgeous! I love how easy the bows come together using this ribbon. To see all the Satins please visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store here.

To create this card here, I chose to use the new Vintage Botany collection from Club Scrap. So design paper, stamps, and stencils are all from one collection. I knew Really Reasonable Ribbon would have the perfect ribbon to go with this kit, so I chose the satin with grosgrain edge, and it's perfect. RRR also has some other beautiful satins and taffetas that match perfectly. LOVE this!!

Next I colored my image with Copic markers R85 & RV11 for the flowers, then for the greenery I chose YG03 & G99 they worked perfectly! For the center of the big flower I used some Stickles in the color of fruit punch. I have had my Stickles for about 9 1/2 years, and they still work perfectly.

I added sewing with my machine, in a light pink, and then added gel dots in white.

My layers are popped with RRR Foam Squares and the layers were glued together before sewing using a small piece of Scor-Tape, both of these can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon under adhesives

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I enjoyed creating this card to share with you all! Please leave a comment letting me know what you think :)

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Blushing Rose Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a special card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the gorgeous Delicate Satin Stitched Ribbon. I LOVE this card and it was designed for a special person in my life, my Mom!  :) This year we will be gone on her birthday and we always celebrate our birthdays together, as hers is the day before mine.... hehehehehe

I started out by using the gorgeous design papers from Our Daily Bread Designs, and OMGoSH this has to be one of my favorite collections. Not sure if they still sell it, but if they do I might have to pick up another pack.

For the bow I chose to use some Satin Delicate Stitched that I keep in large jars on my work area.  These are ribbons that I have received recently, and love to use them first :)  This one can be found here with tons of other gorgeous colors! This one is Coral Rose, there is a lighter one too that is absolutely beautiful!

My 3-D layers were done using RRR Foam Tabs found here.

My flowers & leaves were made using Cheery Lynn Dies. and using distress inks. I really love how this card turned out for today.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and please do let me know what you think of my card for today! I always love to read your comments!

Hugs to all!

Wishing You Card

Hello everyone and Happy April to all! Today I have a sweet card I made using the BEAUTIFUL ribbon from this month's Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon! LOVE the colors in this months kit. It's an aqua and coral mix.
Not only did I use Really Reasonable Ribbon, but I also used the Sweetheart Blossoms that RRR carries, and each layer is popped up using Foam Squares also found at the RRR online store.

The design paper I used is Graphic45 Sweet Sentiment, love this paper, it matches perfect with this month's ribbons.  The flowers were made using Cheery Lynn Shasta Daisy die, and then airbrushed using Copic markers. I'm loving the airbrushed look on the flowers, I think it's my second favorite, as glass flower technique is my first favorite way to make flowers.

I stamped the sweet sentiment from HC, love this one, and this card will be mailed to a family member :)
Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek! Hope you have a super awesome week!

hugs

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

Hello everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to all!
I hope you all are enjoying this day with your family and friends!! Today I am busy with decorating our table, and prepping the turkey. We will have our family over, it should be a blessed day for sure!
Today I have a card I wanted to share with you all, this one is using some of Really Reasonable Ribbons BEAUTIFUL embellishments and Ribbons too!
I used the Beautiful Antique Charm Leaf embellishment for the Leaves on my Poinsettia flowers(Cheery Lynn Dies). I LOVE these, as they are absolutely beautiful in person, and make a perfect addition to any of your paper flowers, or mulberry ones too. Now for the centers of my floewrs I used RRR  White Flat Backed Pearls in the 2 smaller sizes. I believe they are the 8mm and 10 mm

The Ribbons I used for my bow are the Red Shimmer Satin for the bottom bow, and then the Turftan Brown Delicate Stitched for the top bow.

For my sentiment I used The Project Bin and used Mini Misti tool to stamp it up. I did use markers in 2 different reds to get the Ombre look here.

All papers are from Club Scrap.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Christmas Wishes

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with a Christmas card designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Beautiful Satin with Metallic edge assortment. I love this time of year, prepping for Christmas, getting lots of cards done, and pretty soon I will start decorating my home :) cant wait!

On my card I used the White Satin with Metallic edge from this assortment here, to create my big bow. My bow was done in 2 different pieces and then hot glued to each other on my card. I did add a RRR embellishment its the 12mm flatbacked round acrylic rhinestone.

The flowers and branches were created using Cheery Lynn dies, and I did add some vintage pearls to the centers. This paper is absolutely beautiful and makes for a beautiful Christmas card. My sentiment is from The Project Bin called Luke 2!

The top 2 layers of my card are popped up using Really Reasonable Ribbons Foam Tabs.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely day!

Vintage Shabby Chic Easter Card

Hello Friends!!
Heather here and I hope you are having a fabby day!!
Today I am out with our Boy Scout Troop Camping (the whole weekend actually).
So I am sure I am having a fabby day...lol.

Today I would like to share with you a card that I put together using some of my Easter Digital images and fabulous goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon!!

I used my Bow it all Tool to create my Pink Salmon Seam Binding Bow at the top of my Card.  Tombow Foam Tabs were used to elevate my Large Easter Egg Images and Blue Tag image....which you can find in my Etsy here.  Pink Buttons were tied with Cotton Candy Baker's Twine. I used some lovely little spring colored Mulberry Roses in,Baby Blue Mulberry Roses  Lilac Roses and a Large Pink Wild Rose.  I love the blue leaves :0) (apparently they are out in the store at the moment so just search leaves...and you can see other colors). I just love LEAVES :0)  I also used some bits of Crochet Lace Light Orchid satin and Pink twine.

Here is a look at the card without the fabulous RRR goodies, well I did put the Edna lace on...but you get the idea.

Here is is again, with the hidden tag exposed.  You can see how just adding some fabby ribbons and trims can really make your card!  You can find my Easter tags here.

Close up of the bottom goodies.

 The tag alone.

Thank you so much for visiting us at Really Reasonable Ribbon!!
Hugs
Heather
