Doggy Treat Bag

Happy Sunday everyone!  Angi here with a fun project made with Really Reasonable Ribbon's bright orange gingham ribbon. Gingham is so fun to work with and really makes your projects stand out.

I made this "Doggy Treat Bag" for my sister's fur babies. I decorated the outside with orange cardstock, doggy patterned paper, and of course an orange gingham bow at the top of the bag.

Here's a close-up shot of the little doggy. I didn't make him myself. He was actually on another gift bag that I got at Walmart. I love his sweet little face and floppy ears. I filled the inside with doggy treats from the gourmet pet food store in my neighborhood. I'm sure little Tate and Rossi will love these yummies.

Don't forget to visit the RRR Store to order some fun gingham ribbon!

I'm really loving two things right now!
I'm loving Really Reasonable Ribbon's Jute Ribbon

I decided to combine my love for both in a fun layout for you today.

Here's my daughter and nephew striking the "Glee" pose. (All of you Glee fans will know what I'm talking about). See the Red Jute Ribbon at the top of the page? It's so fun to use for adding layers and texture to your scrapbook pages.

Vintage and Ribbon are the perfect mix!
Check out my new cards with a touch of Vintage Charm.

I added RRR Crochet Lace Trim to the top of my patterned paper.
And added a splash of Red Gingham to the bottom.

Scrapbooking with Ribbon!

Have you ever wanted to use ribbon on your scrapbook pages?
I've got a fun tutorial to show you how easy and fun it can be
using Really Reasonable Ribbon!

First, I adhered my photo and journaling card onto kraft cardstock. Then I picked out my favorite border and cut my RRR ribbon to 12" to match the length of my border.

Then I adhered each piece onto the page. You can alternate between ribbon and border or design it any way that you like. I used flat Glue Dots on the back of my ribbon for an extra secure bond.

Add your embellishements, journaling card, or whatever you wish to your page.

I used the July Ribbon Club goodies on this page (plus) some white double ruffle ribbon. Here's a close-up shot of the ribbon.

At the end you come up with a fun page that used ribbon instead of patterned paper. This would be a fun project to make with your RRR Ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed my fun ribbon tutorial today! Be sure to hop on over to the RRR Shop to stock up on your ribbon goodies!

Sew Happy Container!

I love to alter containers!
I scooped this new one right up at Michael's the other day
and used some Really Reasonable Ribbon goodies to dress it up.

I decorated the front with sewing embellies.
And check out the cute RRR Air Mail Twine on the spool.

And see the cute yellow button

RRR sells buttons too

This one is from the Graffiti Love Chipboard Set
I added some RRR Red Jute String to the button.

Your project is not complete until you dress up the container handles!
I used RRR Yellow Double Ruffled Ribbon

I'm going to fill this container with small buttons & stick pins.
It will be great decor on my craft table.

Be sure to drop by the RRR Shop to get some ribbon goodies
for your next altered project

Need A Pretty Package?

Need a Pretty Package for that special gift?
Don't run to the store to purchase something.
How about making your own instead?
Grab your favorite Really Reasonable Ribbon and whip up
your own pretty gifting packages.

I really love the 1.5" Pink Crochet Lace
You can find it in the RRR Store - HERE

Recycled paper bags and kraft packages are great to use for gifting.
I "DRESSED UP" the handles with the Pink Crochet Lace on my bag.

I also used it on the matching pillow box.
It's so fun to play with.

You can decorate the front of your bag any way that you like.
I used a mix of fun embellishements.

If you create a fun gift package using RRR products please let us know.
I'd love to pop over to your blog to see it.

Happy Gifting!
