Hello, Friends! Remember being a kid and thinking snow was fun? Well, today's Christmas card captures all the fun I had zipping down the hill on snowy winter days.
Blue and white is such a great color combo for winter or Christmas. I dug into the fabulous "Winter Blues" Ribbon Club for this card. The soft shimmer of White Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon mimics the feel of snow. To pick up on the blues in this "Frosted" collection by Kaisercraft, I've topped the bow with 3/8" Porcelain Satin with Silver Metallic Edge. If you look closely, you can see the pretty white crochet lace from the assortment peeping out the side, too.
I've used Blue Topaz/Light Silver Grosgrain Ribbon to cover the 1/2" spine inside the card.
I used it again to decorate the belly band on this little tea bag wallet.
And it only takes a little snippet of it to decorate the honey stick. I've tied it on with some silver metallic string.
I hope I've shared some ideas that you can use in your own crafty adventures. Thanks for stopping by!
Cheerio,
kathy
