Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to you all! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Beautiful Shimmer Satin, in Electric Blue. What a gorgeous color this ribbon is, and it goes perfect with the design papers I used. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this ribbon, and the beautiful glitz it has.
The bow I made is a double bow. I like the fullness of it. I did add a beautiful RRR Embellishment Rhinestone to the center of my bow.
I also wanted to add some Really Reasonable Ribbons Mulberry flowers, as I miss seeing them in bloom. So I added some Sweetheart Blossoms in yellow, orange, and blue to my card. The leaves I used are the green leaves, and everything is hot glued on.
All of the beautiful layers of my card were put together using Really Reasonable Ribbons Scor-Tape , and Foam tabs both can be found here. Design paper & stamps used are from club scraps "color me happy" kit.
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Minion Fun..There's nothing you can do about it!!
Hello Peeps,
Heather here and lately I have been into adding funny sayings to Minion and other images that I find on the internet. Today I am sharing a card that I made for a friend...and she will love it...lol.
This card is not my usual Vintagey card...more along the lines of clean and simple.
I used Tropic Checkerboard Satin, Delicate Stitched Aqua Satin and Coral Rose Swiss Dots from this month's Really Reasonable Ribbon Assortment. I also used Moss Green Gingham, Watermelon Baker's Twine, Score Tape (hold my ribbons in place).and Tombow Foam Tabs from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Here is a close up.
The saying I came up with is just perfect for her...I am quite sure we will both burst out laughing when she reads it....lol.
I hope you have a wonderful day!
That you can stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon store and get yourself some goodies!!
Thank you for visiting us today!!
Hugs!!
Heather

Seeing Swiss Dots and Buttons
Hey everyone. It's Dana here with you today. I hope you are having a great day. I'm back to share a card I made using some fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love this primary color ribbon assortment. It's perfect for spring.
This ribbon worked perfectly with some polka dot buttons I had stashed in my stamp room. The colors matched perfectly. I used the ribbon as stripes across my card and the buttons were the perfect embellishment.
All my card needed at this point was a simple sentiment. I didn't want anything to take away from my ribbon stripes. This was a quick and cute card to put together. By using different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon the look of this card is endless. I used some 3D foam tabs to pop my panel up on a white card base.
Now it's your turn to head on over to the shop and pick up your fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon and make yourself a striped ribbon card. We would love to see what you create. Have a fabulous day everyone.
Hugs,
Dana

Shabby Chic Perpetual Calendar
Hello Friends!!
Heather here and today I would like to share with you a Perpetual Calendar that I created using Gina's Chipboard and some fabby ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used some digital papers that I designed to cover all of the pieces. I covered all the insides of the base with paper. Then glued it together, and then applied paper to the outside. Trim excess paper with an x-acto knife. I glued Chloe Lace to just the top edges (please refer to photo below).
I used embossing medium and tinsel gold to emboss all the corners and the and edges of the base.
I also embossed the words and base part of the label. I covered one side of each of the tags with one of my digital papers as you can see below. Then I trimmed the edges with an x-acto knife. Then I applied paper to the other side, trimmed them and then inked the edges with Frayed Burlap. I applied paper to my label top in the same manner, and then the base was embossed. On the back of the label base I added some Candi Fix it Foam Tabs.
Here is a look at the tags finished below. I used Juliet Lace, Moss green Leaves, Cotton Candy Baker's Twine, Deep Ivory Mulberry Roses, and Baby Pink Mulberry Roses,
I added Juliet Lace and Cotton Candy Baker's twine as well as a button with a cotton candy bow to my number pieces. Martha's yard, Fauna, and Cheeky Pink Glitters were used on the edges of all of my pieces.
Here is a look at it from the side. I used the Corners which I embossed on both sides of my Calendar base. The Bow it All tool was used with Pink Salmon Seam Binding to create the double bow on the front.
I have not decided yet on the words that I will be using on the front, so I left it blank for now.
Thank you for visiting Really Reasonable Ribbon today!!
Hugs!!

Thanks Big Time by Tracey Sabella
I can't believe how quickly the year is passing by. I'm enjoying the cooler fall weather that's arrived this week.
I have so many things to be grateful for, and it's always nice to share a thank you for a special kindness. My card features lace, flowers, and twine from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store along with Donna Salazar Designs papers.
I normally include a tutorial with this post, but I'm changing things up this month, so be sure to check back on Sept. 30 for a layout and tutorial for two kinds of Grungy Jute/Burlap Flowers.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Products
Tips and Techniques
Aren't these WOC Cosmos and Sweetheart Blossom Flowers so darling? The Cosmos Daisy required some propping up on the top where the chipboard ended, and the Tombow 3-D Tabs were perfect for this task.
I played around with this flower cluster, and although a larger bow overwhelmed these delicate flowers, this thin 10-lb Bamboo Cord tied into a simple little bow was just right.
The Blue Fern chipboard was dabbed with Jasmine Mix'd Media Inx and then lightly sprinkled with MMI Jasmine Embossing powder and heat set for a grungy look.
I used 20-lb Bamboo Cord to "wrap" each end of my sentiment die-cut.
I added Juliet Natural Crochet Lace below the paper block, adhered with a strip of Scor-Tape. It is so easy to use Scor-Tape to adhere lace and ribbon to my projects! The Juliet lace is so pretty with the lovely scalloped edge!
The top border is hand stitched, and I distressed and inked all the edges.
I hope you've been inspired to pull out your Really Reasonable Ribbon supplies and create!!

Wedding Card by Tracey Sabella
Hi, it's Tracey here to share a special card with you. When I think of weddings ~ ribbon, flowers and lace all come to mind, and I've used each of these Really Reasonable Ribbon products on this card. My mom asked me last week if I would make a card for the wedding of a special couple her and my dad will be attending. This is what I created:
"Love"
Really Reasonable Ribbon Products:
Tips and Techniques:
I tied a double loop bow with the gorgeous Sheer Iridescent Champagne Ribbon. This is becoming one of my favorite ribbons to create soft bows to tuck into my flower clusters. Ginny's tutorial for the double loop bows can be found here. I also tucked in some of the sweet May Arts Pink Crochet Lace. I just adore the soft touch this lace provides!!
Here's a side view of the lovely flowers and bow. Bonnie is now carrying a large selection of gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers in the RRR store. To see her entire selection of flowers, go here. I used the WOC Mulberry Paper 20mm Open Roses in Ivory/Pale Pink along with a Pale Pink Large Open Rose. The shabby edges are created with my Zutter Distrezz-it-All by Donna Salazar Designs.
I also decorated the inside of the card by layering coordinating papers by s.e.i and tucking a piece of lace from the September Ribbon Club Assortment below the signature block. The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on a coordinating sticker. I also heat embossed the "Love" sentiment on the card front.
I hope you've been inspired to grab your ribbon, flowers, and lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon and create a project of your own.

Card and Twine Wrapped Corrugated Heart Tutorial ~ by Tracey Sabella
Hi, it's Tracey here today to share the anniversary card I created for our Daughter and her husband. It's hard to believe it's been nearly a year already since their wedding. I enjoyed creating my first easel card. The Silky Crush Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon is a dream to work with and the new Wild Orchid Crafts flowers Bonnie is now carrying in her store are so gorgeous!
"Love Needs No Map"
Really Reasonable Ribbon Products:
(Only 2 colors left - be sure to get yours before they're gone)
Tips and Techniques:
This wrapped double loop ribbon was created in two steps. First, I wrapped the mat layer with Silky Crush Ribbon, adhering to the back of the layer with Scor-Tape so the ends are not visible on the finished card. Where I planned to add the bow, I gathered and tied the base ribbon strip with a small piece of wire. I then tied a double loop bow and glued in place.
To embellish this bow, I added one of Bonnie's new WOC Trellis Roses and tucked in a strip of delicate lace from the August Ribbon Club Assortment. Bonnie has added a fabulous assortment of Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers to the store. Be sure to check them out here.
I created the stick pin with a corsage pin and beads from my stash.
The sentiment is a cardstock sticker coordinating with the lovely SEI Promise Me collection used for this card. Of course, I had to get in some of my signature distressing on the mat around the sentiment.
Scroll down for a tutorial to create this charming Twine Wrapped Corrugated Heart. I used the Bamboo Cord Assortment and a WOC 20 mm White Open Rose. I used a fine tip paint brush to add a touch of pink to the center of this sweet rose. I popped up the solid heart with Tombow 3D Foam Tabs.
This is the inside/base of my easel card. I framed my stamped sentiment with a chipboard frame layered over more of the Silky Crush Ribbon wrapped around the card base. The pearls are not only decorative, but are placed to hold the top of the card in place when displaying. Bonnie is discontinuing these pearls so if you need the colors that are left, grab them while they are still available.
I hope you enjoy my tutorial for the wrapped corrugated heart. Bonnie sells a wide variety of twine and any of them would look great wrapped around one of these hearts.
Twine Wrapped Corrugated Heart Tutorial
Supplies:
Supply List:
Twine - (I used 20lb white bamboo, but you could use any twine.)
Inks - in colors to coordinate with project. One lighter and one darker
Embossing Powder to coordinate with your inks (Optional)
Heart Die
Corrugated Board (I used Donna Salazar's corrugated board by Zutter.)
Tweezers (Optional but helpful for holding heart during embossing.
Small Flower
Paint or gesso - not pictured
Die cutting machine - not pictured
Embossing tool - not pictured. (Only needed if you use the embossing powder.)
**Note** If you do not have a heart die, you could also hand cut a heart from corrugated board.
**Note** There are many different sizes of corrugation from the tiny ridges in postal boxed to the larger ridges in the corrugated board I used here. Use what you have available and what goes with your project.
Step 1. Cut heart from corrugated board.
**Note** if you have used a die to cut your heart, you can cut a border around the negative to create a heart outline to pair with your wrapped heart like I did for my card.
Step 2. Paint heart to coordinate with your project. Here I used DecoArt Americana Buttermilk craft paint. I often use white gesso as well. Sometimes I just paint the top of the ridges leaving more of the natural corrugated kraft color showing. Here, I left some small areas of the natural kraft color showing for a more rustic feel. If you want to just paint the tops of the ridges, dry brushing with a foam brush works best.
Step 3. Select an ink for your primary color. I used Mix'd Media Inx and embossing powder in Chiffon. Ink the edges of your heart, drawing the ink towards the center, but not completely covering the heart. While your ink is wet, sprinkle with coordinating embossing powder and heat set. The heart is small, so a pair of tweezers comes in handy to hold it while heat embossing. If you desire a more rustic look, you can just ink without embossing.
Step 4. Select a contrasting ink for your edges. I used Mix'd Media Inx and embossing powder in Honey. Just dab a little ink on the very edges, then sprinkle with embossing powder and heat set.
Step 5. Wrap twine around your heart and glue ends to the back of the heart.
Step 6. Rub ink on the twine. I used Mix'd Media Inx Honey.
Step 7. Select a small flower that coordinates with your project. I used one of Bonnie's new Wild Orchid Crafts 20 mm Open Roses. For my card I used a white rose and painted the center with glimmer mist. Here I've used an Ivory and Pale Pink Rose.
One more shot of the embellished heart on my card:
Thanks for stopping by.
I hope you've been inspired to grab your Really Reasonable Ribbon and WOC flowers to create something today!

"Celebrate" layout by Tracey
Good morning, it's Tracey here to share a scrapbook layout with you featuring Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Weddings are a time for celebration, and I just adore this photo of the wedding party celebrating Elizabeth and Andrew's special day. This page features several of Bonnie's gorgeous ribbons, lace, and cording and is created with the ScrapThat! August Kit.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Products:
Tips and Techniques:
Four Loop Ribbon Bow ~ I used a variation on Ginny's double loop bow to create this bow with gorgeous white Seam Binding. Instead of using my fingers, I got creative and used the handles of my pliers. You can find Ginny's Double Loop Bow Tutorial here.
Ribbon Leaves ~ I wanted the ribbon leaves to be tucked into my cluster, so I cut off lengths of May Arts White Ribbon Leaves with just one or two leaves and placed them around my flowers.
Tucked Lace ~ Bonnie has so many fabulous laces to chose from, and I used one of my fave's to tuck into the edges of my page, the Juliet Natural Crochet Lace.
Chipboard ~ I "painted" on some Smooch Accents in moonlight to add the creamy pearlized accents to my Dusty Attic chipboard.
Gem Banner ~ I used the pearl gems from the ScrapThat kit along with some decorative jewelry links from my stash to create this corner feature. I used Bonnie's Tombow 3-D Foam Tabs to adhere the pearl gems.
Corrugated Butterfly and Heart ~ These are hand crafted from corrugated board with tiny ridges, the kind in postal shipping boxes. The heart was wrapped with RRR Iridescent White Metallic String by May Arts. This is one of Bonnie's must have's from her store. I love the sparkly bling this sweet thread adds to my projects!! My Corrugated Butterfly Tutorial can be found here.
A close-up of my glittered butterfly.
I used this Bird Is the Word sketch and featured word, "Celebrate" as inspiration.
Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store to check out Bonnie's amazing selection of ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have been inspired to add ribbon, lace and cording to your next scrapbooking project!!
~ Blessings ~
