Wrapped Up In Satin

Hello RRR fans.  It's Dana here today.  I'm sad to say this will be my last card for my dt term here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I have had so much fun here with Bonnie and the ladies.  Bonnie always makes us feel so special and it has been an honor to design with everyone.  Well, let me showcase my last card.
I wrapped my last dt card up in lots and lots of satin ribbon.  First I used the Diamond Satin ribbon in the beautiful color of daffodil.  This made a great background for my electric blue satin ribbon with silver metallic edging.  Oh my word...this ribbon is amazing.  Let me give you a close up.
My, my, my this is a pretty bow.  LOL  I just can't say enough about the gorgeous color of this ribbon.  It is definitely one of my favorites.  But then again...all the ribbon I have used from Really Reasonable Ribbon have been my favorites. ;-) I'm sure you all have favorites too and you can head on over to the shop and pick up some more favorites.   I want to thank you for all your lovely comments on my cards and I hope to see you all again soon.

Hugs,
Dana

You've Been Spotted

Hey everyone.  How's it going?  It's Dana with you today and I want to share a card I made using some fabulous Swiss Dots Grosgrain from the assortment ribbon pack.  I have been seeing dots and spots for a few weeks lately and I love it.  I've seen scarves, dresses and even hats with this fresh look.  So of course I had to add it to my card.
Here is a closeup of this fabulous ribbon.  And as I always say, the Bow-It-All V2 makes me look like a pro.  This grosgrain ribbon makes bows so easily too. What's even better is this assortment pack has five pretty colors to choose from.
Thanks for hanging out with me today.  I'm sure you'll want to go load up a cart with some of this delicious ribbon.  Head on over to the shop and get starting with your ribbon happiness purchase.

See ya soon,
Dana

Clean and Simple Ribbon

Hey everyone, it's Dana.  I wanted to share a quick card using some beautiful sheer organza ribbon today.  Sometimes on a card you just need a really pretty piece of ribbon to make your card stand out and wow the recipient. So let's take a look at my card.  I didn't want to add a lot of fuss to my card.  It needed to be clean and simple.  So I just stamped a simple image and let my bow do all the work.

I fell in love with this gorgeous dark brown sheer organza ribbon with the satin center.  It is so easy to work with and it makes fantastic bows. Here's a better look at this beautiful ribbon.  It has just a touch of sparkle to it.  It's such a rich dark brown and add just the right touch for my card.
I was able to make this bow using the Bow-It-All V-2.  I'm telling you, this is a must have for every kind of crafter.  You will make some fabulous bows with this tool.  I'm bow challenged and this tool makes me shine.  LOL

Thanks for hanging out with me today.  I hope you enjoyed your visit.  Make sure to pick up some of the fun ribbon right here at RRR store.  Bonnie has a ton of gorgeous ribbon for you to play with.  Have a great day everyone.

Seeing Swiss Dots and Buttons

Hey everyone.  It's Dana here with you today.  I hope you are having a great day.  I'm back to share a card I made using some fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love this primary color ribbon assortment.  It's perfect for spring.

This ribbon worked perfectly with some polka dot buttons I had stashed in my stamp room.  The colors matched perfectly.  I used the ribbon as stripes across my card and the buttons were the perfect embellishment.

All my card needed at this point was a simple sentiment.  I didn't want anything to take away from my ribbon stripes. This was a quick and cute card to put together.  By using different ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon the look of this card is endless. I used some 3D foam tabs to pop my panel up on a white card base.

Now it's your turn to head on over to the shop and pick up your fabulous Satin Swiss Dots ribbon and make yourself a striped ribbon card.  We would love to see what you create.  Have a fabulous day everyone.

Dana

Tag, You're It

Hey RRR fans.  It's Dana with you today.  I hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I'm busy making crafty things in my stamp room.  And you can't make a great craft item without awesome ribbon.  So let's take a look. Here I created a tag with some very pretty spring like colors.  There is nothing more promising than the feeling of spring.  New life, new adventures, new chances to use pretty ribbon.  LOL

Speaking of pretty ribbon let me give you a closeup of some pretty spring ribbon.  I used the fabulous Satin Shimmer ribbon in Kiwi.  Isn't this ribbon awesome?  Look, I'm a girl who loves things that sparkle and this ribbon does just that.  Next I used the Tiny Sheer Pink/Orange Floral organza ribbon to make a sweet double bow with my Bow-It-All.  But I needed to add just a touch of white to my card.  I pulled out my Sheer Four Satin Stripped Ribbon in white and wrapped it around my kiwi ribbon before I added my bow.

So there you have it.  One very pretty tag ready for a cute spring gift bag.  Sometimes a tag is all you need to add a touch of glamour to your next gift presentation.  We all know those shiny bows from your local Dollar store are so overrated.  LOL  If you want a pretty bow, make it yourself with gorgeous ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Happy crafting~

Let's Celebrate

Hey fans.  It's Dana here!  We are doing a TON of celebrating this month in my household.  My hubby's birthday was a last week, he's retiring in a just a few days and what do you know Valentine's Day is here.  We are going to be broke this entire month.  LOL  I slipped this little card into his car this morning reminding him of his upcoming big day.

Of course I used fantastic ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon to "tie" it all together.  Here I used the 1/8" orange diagonal striped ribbon along with some metallic silver string.  I know you've heard me say it more than once, but I love that metallic string!

Here's a close up of both ribbons.  Something purty right?  I am ga-ga over all the ribbon in the shop.  I should show you how much I have but I'll keep that for another day.  My stamp room is a wreck at the moment.  LOL  Have a great day everyone!

Hugs,
Dana

Silly Girl Tied Up With A Bow

Hey everyone.  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations here with you today.  So how's everyone doing?  I hope your ready for a new month because January is out of here!  I'm working on some birthday cards for a few friends and I thought I would share one with you today.

I am in a totally silly mood so making this card for my sweet friend was fun to color.  I used my Copic markers to color this image up.  I love the color combo of red and aqua.  It's one of my favorites.  You can definitely tell so by looking at my blog design. :-)  As soon as I had my image colored I knew exactly what ribbon I needed for my card.

Just look at this gorgeous aqua satin double ruffle ribbon.  And this is just the beginning of the beautiful satin double ruffle ribbon Really Reasonable Ribbon has to offer.  This color is so popular it keeps running out of the shop.  Bonnie is having to order more as we speak.  Next I used this fabulous chevron striped twill ribbon in red to match my color scheme.  Oh this ribbon tied my card together nicely.

Well I'm off to make more cards.  Make sure to swing by the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop to get your hands on the ribbon I used on my card or fill you cart up with all the yummy colors you like.  I mean, who doesn't just love ribbon?!?!

Hugs,
Dana

This card was calling for some pretty ribbon.  It was just too blah so I pulled out the gorgeous brenda white crochet lace ribbon and hot pink satin grosgrain ribbon to fancy up my card.  I love the entire January Ribbon Club pack.  It has the most amazing and color coordinating pink ribbon.  You will definitely fall in LOVE with this pack.

Here is a closeup of that gorgeous lace ribbon.  Isn't it beautiful?!?  Oh I LOVE it.  Placing the hot pink behind it just peeking out at the bottom looks sooo fabulous!

Gift Giving In Style

Hey everyone, it's Dana here.  Can you believe we are right around the corner staring at another holiday?  Where does the time go?  I'm cranking out some Valentine gift card holders for the family.  The January Ribbon Club kit was the perfect way to make my holders look fabulous.

The delicate stitched satin hot pink ribbon made the perfect wrap and bow for my card.  I used the awesome Bow-It-All to make my triple bow.  The pretty Brenda white crochet lace worked perfectly with the striped paper to give it a little softness. The Swiss Dots Grosgrain Pearl Pink w/Hot Pink Dots added just the right fun and decorative accent to my project.

Here is a close up of my triple bow.  Oh this is the prettiest pink ribbon ever.  If you have not picked up your January Ribbon Club kit you need to head straight to the RRR store.  This ribbon pack will help you make some beautiful Valentine's Day projects or cards for your loved ones.  Thanks for hanging with me today.

Warm Up With Some Pretty Ribbon

Hey hey hey everyone.  It's Dana here.  Happy New Year to all of you.  I'm so happy that the new year is in full swing!  It's going to be an exciting year here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I can just feel it!

I'm keeping nice and toasty by the fireplace for the next couple of days.  And in the spirit of keeping warm, I think I'll have myself a cup of eggnog.  The spiked kind. ;-)  My card is representing the mood I'm in.  I am such a HUGE fan of the Snowflake on Hot Red Grosgrain ribbon and the Black Hemp String.  It's doing a pretty good job of  holding my adorable mug.

Don't you just love those little snowflakes on that gorgeous red ribbon? Such a sweet accent to any card or craft project.  Oh for the love of ribbon people! :-)  Okay, time for me to fill my mug back up.  Yup, I'm a little low on egg nog.  Have a fantastic day everyone!

Wine A Little with Dana Joy

Hey you lovely Really Reasonable Ribbon fans.  The time is near to kick back and enjoy the holiday.  All the gifts are wrapped, meals prepared just in the nick of time.  Now it's time to enjoy a little WINE. :-)  I made some tags for bottles of wine I took to holiday parties but I couldn't leave myself out.  HELLOOOOOO...I need a gift too. :-)

I made my first bow using the Brown Double-Face Satin Ribbon.  LOVE this ribbon.  But then I needed to add a little frill to my tag.  The Yellow Double Ruffles Ribbon was exactly what I was looking for to add some pizzazz to my tag.  Now that is something to celebrate!

Have a blessed holiday!!

Wrap It Up - Dana Joy Style

Hey Really Reasonable Ribbon Fans.  It's Dana here with you today!  I'm wrapping things up for Christmas and up to my elbows in ribbon.  And what does every package need?  A really pretty bow!

I love how my big white bow came out.  I wanted to have a little contrast between the ribbon that wrapped around the package and the bow itself.  I used the fabulous 1.5" wide Wired Faux Burlap ribbon and colored it with some ink.  Next I used my Bow-It-All to make my triple looped bow out of the same ribbon.  Working with the wired ribbon makes it super easy to adjust your loops and make the perfect bow.  I have four more boxes to wrap so I better get busy.

Now it's your turn to "Wrap It Up Dana Joy Style".  Head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop and pick up your bow making ribbon today.  If you don't have a Bow-It-All now would be a great time to ask Santa for that "early" Christmas gift.  I think you've been good all year long. ;-)

Hugs and love~

Shine Bright With Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hey peeps  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations here with you today. Had a welcoming break from making holiday cards.  My in-laws just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  I am over the moon happy for them. You just don't see these kinds of numbers anymore in a marriage.

So here is the card I made for them.  I love how this card came out.  It's very clean and simple for me and that shine of this metallic silver string from Really Reasonable Ribbon is amazing on this card.  I'm pretty hooked on this thin and sparkly string.

Here's a closeup.  Isn't this metallic string to die for?  Oh the shine on this one is gorgeous!   And in the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop you can find this same string in gold and iridescent white.  This string just adds the prettiest touch to your holiday cards.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today and make sure to come back soon.  We have so much to show you here at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Have a fantastic week everyone.

Tag, You're It - Holiday Tag Time

Hey peeps.  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations back to share a bit of inspiration with you.  I'm plowing away at trying to get my holiday tags made.  I use them a lot during this time of year.  So here is one of them for you to take a peek at.

I used the October Ribbon Club kit for my tag today.  The ribbon in this kit is perfect for the upcoming holiday.  The delicate stitched satin forest green ribbon paired up just right with my designer paper.  And I love the metallic silver string that's in the store.  FABULOUS!

Here's a close up of the metallic ribbon.  How awesome is that?  I made some serious loops with my Bow It All to get tons of sparkle at the top of my tag.  The BEST investment for making bows look fantastic!  Thanks for hanging out with me today.  Come back tomorrow to see another design team members project.

Warm and Cozy Autumn Card

Hello everyone.  It's Dana from Got Joy Creations and I'm one of the newest members of the design team.  First I would to thank Bonnie for extending this invitation to me.  I was thrilled when I received her email.  I have been a long time fan of Really Reasonable Ribbon and Bonnie.  Now let's take a look at my first project.

I love anything and everything fall.  The cool crisp mornings and the chilly fall evenings.  The best part is snuggling up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa.  Oh the life!  I picked ribbon from the August ribbon kit that includes some fabulous autumn diamond print grosgrain ribbon and the beautiful arianna natural crochet lace.  I have used the autumn diamond print ribbon on so many of my fall projects.  The colors work so well with this time of year.

Here's a close up of my bow using the crochet lace ribbon.  Isn't that ribbon a-mazing?  I love the feel and the texture it provides to my projects.  It reminds me of a warm fall sweater.  Makes me want to curl up with it.  LOL  I used my Bow-It-All to make my double bow.  This tool is a life saver as I am so bow challenged.  ;-) I paired my ribbon with some fall paper and a cute image I colored using my Copic markers.

That's my first project fans.  I hope you enjoyed yourself today.  Make sure to swing by again tomorrow to see more inspiration from Kathy.  Have a fabulous day everyone.
