  2. First want to say I enjoyed visiting all the blogs but unfortunately there are always two of them that for whatever reason I can't comment. Jen's "charlie brown" ribbon tree is Tree-riffic!!!!! and Kathy's recipe is well done.
to answer your question about when do I start making cards for the holiday welllllll......I try to start in September but that doesn't always happen but I have to say this year I'm not doing bad so far I have maybe 10 cards made so that is a start.

  4. Great blog hop. I just recently joined the ribbon club so this has inspired me to use them. I only make handmade cards for a select few people. Not everyone appreciates the time spent creating something by hand. I love this months ribbons, but especially the red and green plaid, my favorite.

  5. I love, love, love the ribbon this month! I was so excited when I opened my mail box and there it was! LOL The blog hop was AMAZING! The DT knocked it out of the park! On to the question: I always plan to start my holiday crafting in October, but to be VERY honest, that never happens. I do manage to get all my cards out on time with countless nights of burning the midnight oil. Tee Hee And any gifts I make are done by Christmas!

  6. In my head, planning starts early. In actual fact, cards barely make it in time for Xmas, gifts I am ahead of the game. I love the ribbon choices for October .... beautifully displayed by the DT projects.

The ribbon assortments were used splendidly on each blogs projects!
I always need at least two months to work on Holiday projects, and still sometimes don't complete all that I would have liked to do.

    1. Oops, drooling so much over the projects, I forgot to answer the question. As soon as I finish my Halloween projects, I start Christmas. So that will be really soon. I do have a few cards made already.

  16. I love this months ribbon collection, and I thought all the designers did a spectacular job using it in their creations. I started my Christmas projects while I was on summer break, and even though I started that early, I'm sure I'll be working on things at the last minute...lol!

  18. I'm think now about what I want to do for my Christmas cards. I usually don't get the idea fully formed till November and manage to get them in the mail before Christmas. Yup. I almost wait till the last minute. Depends on how many ideas sound great in my head and don't translate well to paper. I like to "love" my creations before I send them out.

  19. I make my cards all year long and send them out the second week in December or so. I'm never late with cards, but have been tardy getting a package in the mail to allow enough time for them to arrive in other countries. --Gail L

  20. What a beautiful ribbon collection! I make the majority of my Christmas cards in July for a Christmas in July challenge; as for other gifts/projects, I'm usually pushing the envelope in December to get them finished!

  22. I start my Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas cards in August -- this way I'm not in a panic since all three holidays are in a row. Really like your card wrapped like a gift box - would also be good for a birthday gift with a different color scheme. Thanks for the ideas.

  24. Love the hop! Thanks to all for sharing with us. I would love to say I am so organized that I have everything ready before Thanksgiving! However, I am lucky to have even started by then so I either get things done at the last minute or not at all- each year hope spring eternal that this year will be different- LOL! Always good to have a goal- even better if it is achieved!
