Are you ready for Halloween?

Hi all... Linda here today and I am so excited for Halloween with giving away sweets for my kids' friends and  also other family members. Today, I would like to share a cute Halloween card that I plan to mail for my friend overseas. I just love the vintage feel and also color combo with multiple layers of ribbon to brighten the Halloween project.

These are the following ribbons that I used to create this card;

I created a knot on the center part of the card and topped with naked chipboard, covered with glitters and orange button.

Other materials:
Tim Holtz Cutting Die
Sassasfras Lass cardstock sticker
American Craft cardstock
Digital Fall Vintage Image

I hope you enjoy reading today's blog post, have a wonderful day!

Toilet Paper Roll Mini Album

Hi all! It's Emily here today with another fun mini album to share!

I made this mini album out of recycled toilet paper rolls. These are one of my favorite types of mini albums to make. I used lots of pretty ribbons on this album, to me, they are what makes the project.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Floral Garden Layout

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a layout using beautiful ribbons, lace, and netting all from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
On my layout I used Black Satin for the Black Bows, and Black centers for the flowers. Next I used Black Netting and then Penelope Natural Lace next to the netting. I also ran more of the Black netting along the bottom of the photo mat and then used Sheer Box Pleats Ivory for that.

For the BIG Pink bows I used the Chevron Striped Pink Twill to make those. I LOVE this ribbon, and it's new to me and it makes beautiful bows.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Used:

My design paper, flowers and the circle chipboard are all from FabScraps. I painted the circle chipboard with Tim Holtz Crackle paint, then distressed it. The flowers came from a book from Fabscraps as well and I punched them all out, super easy to do, and then inked up the edges with black ink.

The flowers were put together using Helmars Scrapdots.  It gives a 3-D effect for them.

I left some room for a title, and will add a photo later. I was trying to find one of my dear Grandma to put on here, but will have to scan and then print it.

Thank you for looking and hope you have a super wonderful day!!
Hugs to all,

A Simple Statement

Hi! Today I wanted to share a little mini-album that I did. This is a quick little book with minimal embellishments and 3.5x5 photos. I know there are a lot of really unique and fancy ribbon techniques but sometimes you just need a plain bow!!! They can make a statement of their own!
I have so many beautiful ribbons from RRR that I wanted to showcase a few of them! I used colors that matched the paper which is the "Paradise Beach" collection from Echo Park.
I used a simple stripe twill on the front and a couple of little ties on the book rings. I added little pearl and gemstone accents for the "bubbles".

Here I used the orange chevron twill and tied a neat bow. I used the same color ink to journal. I used my Zig marker for the journaling.

On this page I used the yellow star ribbon and a little of the hemp cord to tie the buttons.

For this page I used 3 ribbons the varied stripe the green star and the turquoise. It matched Addy's cute little dress perfectly!!!

Here on this page I used the same 3 ribbons. And another bow!!!

On this last page I just used a pretty turquoise ribbon, tied in a bow!!! This was really a quick little book to put together! And it shows off these cute little beach pics of Addy!!!
Sometimes you don't need fancy, sometimes simple makes a statement all it's own!!! Thanks for stopping by! Please check back for more inspiration from our talented design team!!!

Here are the ribbons that I used:
3/8" daffodil floral satin
island splash striped grosgrain
chevron striped twill orange
10 lb. hemp cord natural
stars on apple green grosgrain
shimmer satin turquoise
funky vert stripe teal/lime
sheer organza w/satin center turquoise

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge here at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Please scroll down to the next post for the winners of the last challenge.

*******************
Here is a little inspiration from our design team for challenge #56 to get you started. All of the sample projects feature ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

And for those of you who like to think outside the box, we have a Breast Cancer Awareness Card.  Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, I guess that technically pink is now an Autumn Color too.  :)

************************
Now, let's see your Autumn Colors & Ribbon creations! We will be selecting a 'Best of Show' and top 3 runners up. We will also be drawing a random winner from all the entries to win a $10 gift certificate to Really Reasonable Ribbon. How cool is that!!! We will be announcing the winners on October 1st.

Here's what you need to do:
* Create a new project using the posted theme. A layout, card, ATC, home decor item, hair bow, or anything your can think of.
* You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide newly designed projects. No back-linking please.
* All projects must also include some sort of ribbon/lace/trim.
* Post your project on your blog or an online gallery (using code RRR56) and link it here with the Inlinkz tool below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
* You have until September 28th at 11:59 PM Eastern time to enter your projects. Thanks so much for playing and good luck.

PLEASE consider turning off your word verification.
It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
