How Do You Like Your Easter Eggs? Decorated in Ribbon, Please!

I like mine all decorated in Soft Spring colors just in time for Easter!  Happy Good Friday, Really Reasonable Ribbon fans!  Jan here to share a super simple idea, just in time for Easter.  If you have kids in your life, this is a perfect craft for them as well as you :)
Start with either ceramic eggs that can be purchased at a craft store or make some hard boiled eggs and decorate them.  I have both kinds on hand and decided to use the ceramic eggs so I can use them from year to year.
Gather some of your favorite ribbon, tulle, flowers, lace and  Quick Dry Adhesive.

The little pillars can be purchased at a craft store in the cake decorating department.
The ribbons I've used are Swiss Dots Grosgrain Pink and the aqua floral print that's in the March Club Assortment.
Monthly Ribbon Club, Domestic
These are a perfect way to add some Spring decor to you home.

Ribbon,Roses,and Red

Today I have a quick altered project I did with some Really Reasonable Ribbon and lace.
While out shopping at a second hand store I found this album with page inserts. There was just a red quilted cover-much to plain for my liking.
There is one of my favorite laces Noelle White Crochet Lace and added a border to the front and the spine.
White Silk was perfect for me to add to the two covers and tie a bow-there are eyelets on each cover.
I just knotted one end and pulled through each eyelet.
Wanted to share a close up of the ribbon and grouping of Prima flowers and leaves.
Can you see the red pieces there? Guess what those are? The brads are from Lost and Found line.
I had those vintage earrings that just seemed to work with my design.and a Prima swirl finished it off.

So the next time you are shopping don't pass up those vintage books or items-you can use so many ribbons and laces to dress any item.

Stopping by to say "HI"

Good Morning everyone!
It is Misty here with you all today, and I have something very
out of the ordinary for my post today.
I have a card. Well, it is the card that was supposed to be with the
"Buttons and Bows" challenge, but didn't quite make it. OOPS!
We had an extremely rainy last couple of weeks, and the one day that was
pretty for me to take photos, my internet was out!
An 18 wheeler was overloaded and literally took out EVERY pole in my town! LOL
NOT funny, but the poor guy made it just outside of town before the
police stopped him to prevent anymore damage.
Needless to say, we were without phones, internet and cable for 3 days.
My kids were NOT happy!

Anywho... I decided to share that card for my post today. :)

I am TOTALLY in love with all of Bonnie's ribbon,
but one of my very absolute favorites is the white satin.
It is just a ribbon that goes with everything...and looks great doing it!
I am also in love with Bakers' twine lately. I think I have been adding it
to everything I create...lol. It is just a simple string,
but looks great on handmade cards and projects.

I gave this card to a friend of mine who was having a bad week.
Just to say "HI" and that I hope her week gets better.
I have to say, it is the little things that can turn a person's whole day around.
This simple card meant the world to her that day.

I challenge all of you to go make a card today and actually GIVE it to someone.
I know we all make cards all the time and they
sit in their respective bins never being shared.
Well, time to share those cards!

I hope you all have a magnificent day...
and while you are at it, go make someone else's day Magnificent, too!!
Thanks for visiting!

Guest Designer Cathleen Torina

Hi! It's Cathleen Torina here with you today from Crooked Card Creations. I'm delighted to be Guest Designer here at Really Reasonable Ribbon, if you're familiar with my work you'll know I love ribbon and I was sent a fabulous selection to work with! Here's what I made!

I found this awesome ribbon weaving tutorial on Youtube. I used the 1/4 inch white satin ribbon to make the heart wreath and one inch satin ribbon for the bow. I secured the heart wreath with Scor-Tape also available at RRR. Here are some of the other supplies that I used: Cherry Lynn Designs Heart Die, Pearls, SU Heart Punch, Martha Stewart Love Punch

I could not resist making this sweet Easter card once I received this beautiful shimmer ribbon in the April Ribbon Club Assortment. Here are some of the other supplies I used: Quickutz Egg Die, Cuddlebug Embossing Folder, Martha Stewart Flower Punch, PTI Banner Die, Paper Source Leaf Punch, Pearls

For this next card I just loved this sweet pink dotted ribbon from the April Ribbon Club Assortment. Some of the other supplies include: Cuddlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, PTI Banner Die, Puffy Hearts from my stash. Thank you so much for taking a peek at my cards!

April Already?

Wow~! It's April! And whether your weather says it or not - it's SPRING! Yay! I love all of the new buds and flowers and the vast array of color that comes forth in this season. Today's card shows off some of that -- and some ribbon from the April Ribbon Club too!
I love the ease of working with the satin textured ribbons. This lovely pink is a Satin Checkerboard Ribbon - part of the April Ribbon Club. If you haven't yet joined, you really ought to! Bonnie chooses such fun and versatile ribbons each month!

I layered the satin on top of some very pretty Pink Crochet Lace (I LOVE THIS) for a light, airy, spring look. My sentiment is from To The Future by Stamp School.

Check out the new ribbons in the April Ribbon Club here! And don't forget to check out the new challenge! Click on the button in the sidebar! It's Buttons and Bows!
Stamps: To The Future (Stamp School)
Paper: Annalee DP (Prima), Sweet Tooth, Gumdrop Green, Limeade, Cotton Candy (Poptone)
Ink: Razzleberry, Cotton Candy (Stamp School)
Accessories: pink crochet lace and pink satin checkerboard ribbon (RRR), stick pins, petal punch (SU!), paper roses (Wild Orchid), distressing tool, Circle and Scalloped Circle dies (Spellbinders), embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Blush pearls (Kaiser)

To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
