Thank you card

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! today I have a special card I made for a special someone to say Thank you! Made this one using all Really Reasonable Ribbon flowers and ribbons. Love making thank you cards and using the beautiful ribbons from RRR store.

On my card for today I chose to use the beautiful Delicate Stitched(One of my many favs) in Mineral Ice color. I made two bows and set them close to each other when gluing them down. Next I placed the beautiful Chelsea Rose in pink on the green leaves, and then using other flowers I added them all. I will list them all below.

So I have to tell ya, that I had this little girl stamped up and colored in other colors, so that motivated or gave me inspiration for this one. I stamped her in club scrap black ink, and then colored her with copic markers. It was so much fun, I need to get stamping again, and use my stamps.
The thank you stamp is from Our Daily bread and is an old one. Its stamped in black too. My design papers came from a paper pad that is a 6 x 6 and I cant remember the name.

I really enjoyed making my card for today, and Hope you enjoyed my post! thank you so much!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies used:
Chelsea Rose
Green Leaves
Delicate Stitched Satin Mineral Ice
Foam squares
scotch advanced Tape runner refill
Rose buds in pink and the yellows
sweetheart blossom
Mini open Rose
Cosmo Daisy

Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Mother Gooose Canvas Board

Hi friends! Linsey here sharing my Mother Goose Mixed Media Canvas Board! This is one of my most favorite projects I've ever made to date and I hope you'll enjoy it too! Maybe even be inspired to create a mixed media project with ribbon and trim of your very own!
I used some White Crochet Lace Trims adhered with Mod Podge glue which works really well.
I hope you like it! I really enjoyed designing it! I find mixed media art to be very fun and carefree. Very little stress and lots of room for happy little accidents! 😊 Thanks so much for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting!

It's the Journey Layout

Hello friends.
Do you enjoy adding ribbon and embellishments to your layouts to add softness and interest?
I created this It's the Journey... not the Destination layout by adding Flat Back Pearls and Blue Cosmo Flower to the die cuts for added interest.
Next I added a Pearl Heart Slider to the Bluebird Plaid ribbon.   To add more dimension I added the White Netting for added layers.
I hope you enjoyed another fun and easy layout...  Why not grab your supplies and start documenting your story?

Adding Dimension to Scrapbook Layouts

Hello ribbon lovers!  Adding dimension to your scrapbook layouts is easy when using beautiful ribbons, lace and flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used Emily Crochet Lace, and tucked a bow under the flower cluster by using the Burlap String .  I added the mixed Cosmos Daisy Aqua/Blue  and the white Magnolia Flower to help highlight the photo.
I then added more Cosmos Daisies for accents.
Hope this inspires you to add a little dimension to your next layout.

Have Courage Layout

Hello ribbon lovers!
I am so excited to share one of my recent layouts with you using gorgeous products by Really Really Ribbon.
I added a few of the Mixed Aqua Blue Cosmos Daisies and added a sweet White Cottage Rose.
Next I tucked the Emily White Crochet Lace under the flower and added a vintage button.
Next I completed the layout with photos, additional embellishments and of course I couldn't forget to a little sparkle with glitter glue!

Wishing you a creative day.

Life

{judy} Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today I have a fun, contemporary look for my card of encouragement.
On Confetti cardstock, I sprinkled several colors of Brushos, and then spritzed with water to make the powder active and run. Once that was dry, I stamped my sentiment (Stampin' Up!) with Archival Black ink (SU!), I adhered this to a panel of purple cardstock, and tied a triple bow around the card using the beautiful Tiny Sheer Purple Floral Organza ribbon. This ribbon is so sweet, and allows for the colors to show through beautifully.
I added three Cosmos Daisy Stem Flowers in shades of purple on top of the bow. All of my layers are adhered with 3/8" Scor-Tape. I like the mix of contemporary and traditional looks!
 Thanks for stopping by today!

Shabby Chic Easter Folder with Pockets

Hello, Ribbon Lovers! I was playing with some gorgeous Easter Button Cards from Polly's Paper Studio the other day, and suddenly an idea popped into my head. How fun would it be to create an Easter Folder with pockets and tags? And why not use a vintage sewing theme to make it really special? So that's exactly what I did!
Easter Folder with Pockets 01

The thing that makes this Easter folder with pockets so special is the gorgeous ribbon and flowers. I used both white crocheted lace and Vintage Pink Floral Cotton Blend Ribbon as a belly band/closure for this chunky little folder. Since my background paper featured polka dots, I decided to add a Pouf-tacular Pearl Pink Swiss Dots Satin Bow. This ribbon is so silky and easy to work with.
Easter Folder with Pockets 02

These romantic English Roses leave me weak in the knees, especially when combined with Cosmos Daisies, Sweetheart Blossoms, and pink Bead/Berry Sprays. I love the little Victorian boot charm perched on those spool end papers, too!
Easter Sewing Pocket Folder 03

Here's a peeky at the inside of the folder. There's a pocket on each side stuffed to the gills with sewing themed goodies.
Easter Sewing Pocket Folder 04

The pocket on the left contains this darling lamb button card topped with more of that beautiful Pearl Pink Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon. The little paper spool is wrapped with Pearl Pink Seam Binding ribbon that is secured with two pearl stick pins. And those are real vintage buttons on that ribbon wrapped pink button card. What seamstress or crafter would not love to get this parcel from the Easter Bunny? But wait...there's more!
Easter Sewing Pocket Folder 05

The pocket on the right is decorated with a vintage style cameo, mounted on a gold tone filigree base. And you can really see how pretty that shabby chic Vintage Roses cotton blend ribbon is in this shot, too.
Easter Sewing Pocket Folder 06

I created a pocket on this tag, then stuffed it with another button card and an individually wrapped dark chocolate. That way, no one has to nibble off the Easter Bunny's chocolate ears! The tag is topped with more of the Pearl Pink Swiss Dots Satin Ribbon, natural burlap string and a miniature pair of vintage scissors. I've also used Bright Pink Gingham Ribbon as an accent on tags and pockets.

Who says the kids get all the Easter baskets? Why not shake things up a little bit this year, and make an Easter Folder with pockets for the big kids?

Thanks for stopping by!

kathy

Keep Moving Forward

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  I have an inspirational card to share with you today. Daily life is filled with obstacles and challenges both great and small.  But if we will just keep moving forward, we will achieve our goals.  The climb is often steep, but the view from the top is mighty sweet!  With this in mind, I created a layered get well card for a friend who is facing some tough hills to climb.  I used Graphic 45's World Fair collection and fabby ribbons, of course, because no project is complete without ribbon!
I love the punchy colors of this collection, and was thrilled to find goodies in the RRR store that matched so well.  These gorgeous yellow trellis roses were lightly sponged with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink and then clustered with frilly Cosmos Daisies and some sparkly gold spiral stamens.
Sometimes, burlap string is the perfect ribbon choice!  These flower clusters were so bodacious, I didn't want to try to compete with them.  But the card needed some sort of ribbon element to tie things together.  (Groan..what a terrible pun!)  I selected navy, antique gold, and orange burlap string as a complement to these fancy flowers.  I tied the bow on my Zutter Bow-it-All and then used the tip of my scissors to tuck the bow in under the floral cluster.
I did the same thing on the fold of the card, and I love the way this simple string bow anchors those flowers to the card.
The inside of the card is loaded with fun surprises.
This pocket has lots of goodies tucked inside.  I added dimension to my fussy cut hot air balloons by layering them with foam pads. And a touch of natural burlap string makes that chipboard button stand out in the crowd.

I threaded my vintage buttons with yellow burlap string, just for fun!

And speaking of moving forward, it's time for me to do just that!  I hope you were inspired with today's post!

Thanks for stopping by!
