How Many Candles?

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Just like you always dress up for a birthday party, I like to dress my birthday cards up with lots of pretty ribbons and trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I tried a few new tricks that I thought you might enjoy when you make your next Happy Birthday Card.

First, use the color palette of your paper collection when you are choosing your ribbons.  The pink plaid paper and pink sentiment panel really pop when matched up with Ruffled Pink Gingham Elastic Ribbon.  This is easy to secure to a card.  Just adhere 1/4" Scor-Tape where you want to add the ribbon, then stretch the center of the elastic over it and press in place.  For extra fun, wrap Baker's Twine around it a few times and tie a bow.

Gingham Ribbons are the perfect playmate for this playful card.  It's super easy to create this triple loop bow made with the 3/16" gingham assortment.  Cut equal lengths of Pink, Yellow and Orange ribbon. Layer them around the posts of your Bow-it-All Tool so that they are stacked one above the other.  Then just tie a single loop bow!  You can adjust the loops after the bow is tied.  Top the bow with a pretty button for the perfect finishing touch!

I hope I shared some tips and ideas you can use in your next crafty adventure!

Thanks for stopping by!
