Cakewalk Happy Birthday Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!

Our sweet li'l grandgirl celebrated her 4th birthday recently. Naturally, I had to make her a special card for her special day. So I pulled out my Really Reasonable Ribbon and worked up this super fun retro Cakewalk Happy Birthday Card to help her celebrate.

I love this retro color palette of teal and aqua. I carried it out by embellishing my card with cheery Red Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon topped with a White Iridescent Metallic String Bow. Simple punched circles are dressed up with a WOC Trellis Rose and some Red and White Sweetheart Blossoms.

To add texture, I lined the base panel with a strip of Melissa Natural Crocheted Lace. This combination of ribbon, lace and flowers really make this card birthday party ready!

Dear Mother...

Hellllllllllo and happy weekend!  I have a card to share today made for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Mother's Day is coming up. With that in mind....I created a "dear Mother" card. 

I started with some paper scraps and diecuts .  I added some metal flourishes and a heart to add some dimension.

From there I added some Seam Binding in Lace Blue for softness, Trellis Roses, and Cherry Blossoms in Blue.

I added a sentiment from Crafty Secrets and was done.  I love the old time feel of this...and the blue!  Hope you enjoy!  Cherry

Happy Birthday Flower Cluster

Hi there crafty peeps!  I am back today to share a quick and simple card I created using this month's Simon Says Stamp card kit and ribbon from this month's Red and Turquoise ribbon collection.

The ribbon collection can be found at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

I layered two strips of the included patterned paper onto a white card base.  I then stamped and fussy cute three flowers and coordinating leaves from the stamp set.  I layered them onto the front of the card in a bunch.  I then stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and cut it out with a border.  I popped it up with foam tape to the top of the card base.  I then wrapped 3/8" Diamond Red Satin ribbon around the card base and tied it into a simple knot.  I added Journey Glaze to the sentiment and centers of my flowers to add dimension to the card.  I hope you enjoy this simple but sweet birthday card.  Have a wonderful day!
