Magical Birthday Unicorn Wishes

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to you all! Today I made this darling Unicorn Birthday card for my Granddaughter she just turned 6. She loves unicorns , so thought this will be perfect. I used lots of Really Reasonable Ribbon flowers & Ribbons.

For my card today I chose to do 6" x 6" and then 5 layers, plus I added the stickers that match this darling design paper from Echo Park, its called It's your BIRTHDAY! Love this paper, its so cute, and matches perfectly with all the flowers, and ribbons. Next I added several flowers from RRR , and then dew drops from The Robins Nest Creative.

Wait Patiently

Hello, creative friends, and thanks for stopping by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today as I, your creative friend Karen, share a pretty card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon.  It's aways fun to adorn my cards with the pretty ribbons, trims, flowers and twines from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  These sweet products add so much fabulous texture and layering to my cards.
I painted my background using Lilac and Concord Oxide Inks on a white watercolor paper that I cut with Crimped Frame Die from The Greetery.  The stamped leaves and flowers are from a (retired) PTI stamp set called Petite Pots.  The stamped sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.  I covered my mistakes with (3) small flat sequins.
The pretty things you see on the right-hand side of my card include some Solid Black Baker's TwinePlum Baker's TwineDouble Head Stamens, and some pretty Miniature Pastel Sweetheart Blossoms.  I also tucked in some bundled Natural Burlap String which is a great "filler" for floral accents.  It's a very inexpensive trim, it comes in oodles of great colors, and it works perfectly every time.  You can find Burlap String here.
Thanks again for stopping by to say hello.  Be sure to visit Really Reasonable Ribbon and treat yourself to something new.  There are so many great options and you're sure to find the perfect accents for your next projects.  You'll always find lots of great inspiration here on the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog, so be sure to visit often.

Have a blessed and creative week, friends.

Liberty Dwells Here

Hello, Ribbon Friends! I loved the May Ribbon Club (Patriotic Assortment) so much that I decided to make another project with some of the ribbon! There is so much ribbon in each of the Ribbon Club Assortments that I can never use it all up in one sitting, so I keep the package on my desk for a month or so to see how much of it I can consume before putting it away!

I created a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card out of blue cardstock. I found some patriotic paper in my stash and a very old star embossing folder found its way onto the desk, too! The sentiment is a digital stamp (Power Poppy) that was just begging to be used with these scrumptious ribbons!
I created a big, loopy bow out of the 5/8" Red Diamond Satin ribbon. I then made two smaller bows with the 3/8" Patriotic Strips on Satin ribbon. I used hot glue to glue all the bows together in a nifty stack!

I added the flowers and a sparkly star to the cluster. I think the red flower is perhaps an out of stock item, but you could substitute a Red Trellis Rose instead. I added one Ivory Open Rose (15mm) and one Royal Blue Open Rose (15mm) to the flower cluster.
I love this patriotic creation! With Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Independence Day coming soon, I will have lots of cards to choose from to either mail or to decorate my desk!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Thinking of You Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here to share a greeting card I created with beautiful trims from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I just love the bright cheerful palate of this greeting card. I created it with a spring inspired collection with stylized flowers for a more updated vibe.

To keep the layers from looking busy I used a apple green cardstock as solid borders. There's also several dimensional layers for depth.

I've combined flowers from RRR and Little Birdie Crafts for a nice full arrangement. It's finished off with pretty pink plaid ribbon.

Wishing you all a happy and productive day : ) G

America the Beautiful Shaker Card

Photoplay America the Beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon May 2022 Ribbon Club Kathy Clement

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Every year I look forward to the Red, White and Blue Ribbon Club Assortment from Really Reasonable Ribbon. It has never disappointed me, but this year it is extra fabulous!  You'll find stars, stripes, dots and solids in vibrant shades of red, white and blue in this Patriotic Ribbon Club!  It inspired me to create this great big shaker card folio.

Really Reasonable Ribbon May 2022 Ribbon Club Photoplay America the Beautiful Kathy Clement

This 5 3/4" x 8 1/4" top fold card doubles as home decor, and it serves as a mini album to hold all your fabulous photos.  Here's how I put that Patriotic Ribbon Club Assortment to work.

  1. Create a border with Red Satin and Electric Blue Swiss Dot Ribbon. Use Scor-Tape to attach the ribbon to the card front before you adhere it to the card base.
  2. Add Red Swiss Dot Ribbon Bows to the corners of the shaker element.  Then top them with a little Ivory Burlap String Bow
Now you're ready to dress up the inside of this card folio!

Score and fold a row of 3x4 images to create a little pull out folio on the top of the card.

This gives you room for small photos and journaling, too. There's ample room to add a large photo behind this feature.

Create a 5 1/2" x 6" mini folio to tuck into the bottom pocket. This gives you room for even more photos!

The hidden side pocket inside is a great place to tuck a couple of Polaroid style photo mats.  Remember to leave the top and one side unglued so that it's easy to tuck your photo behind the frame.

Flap features add even more fun to this mini folio.  As a bonus, you can leave the card out as part of your patriotic display this summer!

I hope I've shared some ideas to help you make use of this month's beautiful Ribbon Club.  Have fun with it!
