Dashing Through the Snow! An Old Fashioned Sleigh Ride Card

Bluefern Yuletide Sleigh Ride Christmas Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 01

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Let's go on a sleigh ride!  I've got the sleigh all decked out with beautiful ribbons from the RRR December Ribbon Club Assortment, so we can just bundle up and go!

Old Fashioned Sleigh Ride Christmas Card by Kathy Clement for Really Reasonable Ribbon Photo 01

TIP: Add texture and pattern to your card by layering Silver Edged Bluebird with Fair Isle Print on Ink Blue Satin Ribbons.  I like to use 1/2" and 1/4" Scor-Tape to attach my ribbons.  Then tie a big poufy bow to add the perfect finishing flourish.  Silver metallic string adds just the right pop of sparkle and shine to the card layout.

Here's a peek at the inside of this vintage style card.  I've added a hand stamped greeting and a lovely bit of pocket trim with more of the Fair Isle Satin.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing how I used the Ribbon Club this month.  Blue is my favorite color, so you'll be seeing lots of these ribbons from me!

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas tag

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I made a super fun Christmas tag using Really Reasonable Ribbon Club Assortment that was in November . I chose the Sherry Taffeta Ribbon & Merry Christmas on Tan satin . Love how this one turned out.

For my tag I chose some larger die cuts , and did different layers, using foam tabs to give it some dimension. Nest I stamped my sentiment on the oval frame using black ink, and then hot glued the flowers, and bead berry sprays. My bows were done using the Taffeta and Satin, tied together using the stem from the flowers. I love using those to tie my bows. Lastly I added some bakers twine to tie onto my package.

Thank you for stopping by and Hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Hugs to all, Cheryl

Christmas Buttons and Bookmarks

Welcome back to the RRR blog today, everyone.  It's Karen here today sharing a sweet little card & bookmark set that I created using just a few of my favorite products from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I always enjoy creating cards and projects, and I can always count on Really Reasonable Ribbon to have all the perfect ribbons and trims, embellishments, adhesives and everything I need to create something special.  I hope you'll stop by Really Reasonable Ribbon to take a look around at what they have to offer.  You'll be pleasantly surprised, I'm sure.
This is a cute little card and bookmark set I created using just a few of the (almost endless) fabulous trims you'll find at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I started my card with basic cardstocks as well as some snippets of patterned paper (all Crate Paper - Peppermint) that were left over from another project.  I love to use up patterned paper scraps as you may know, and I secured all my papers using strips of Scor-Tape.  Once I had all the papers in place, I attached a piece of product packaging (a Jenni Bowlin button card) again using strips of Scor-Tape to hold it securely.
Next, I added some stickers from the same Crate Paper line, as well as some buttons.  In the center of the clear button, I added Mint Stripe Baker's Twine.  In the center of the red button, I added some Lemon Baker's Twine which I also wrapped around the card three times and tied into a bow.  On top of the bow, I added a Red Open Rose.  Please let me know if you have any questions about what I used on this card.  I know I tend to pile on a lot.
At the top of my card, I used Bay Leaf Seam Binding that I cut into smaller widths and tied into a bow along with a piece of Solid Red Baker's Twine. I topped that with a red button that has some Lemonwood Stripe Baker's Twine in its center.  Baker's Twine is an inexpensive trim that comes in every color and adds so much to cards and projects.
I also made a cute little bookmark to go along with this sweet little card.  I used a real cinnamon stick and painted a Santa face.  I attached a length of Red Satin Ribbon to which I tied a jingle bell.  The Red Satin Ribbon is hot glued to the back of the cinnamon stick.  There are SO many cute crafts you can create using RIBBON, and Really Reasonable Ribbon truly has it ALL.  Why not stock up on a few essentials?  Thanks again for stopping by.  I hope you'll mark your calendar and plan to stop by on the 13th (of each month) for the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop.  There's also always lots of great inspiration on the RRR Blog, and we always appreciate your visits.

Blessings,
Karen

Let There Be Joy Christmas Greeting Card

Hey there friends and crafty peeps! Ginny here with another fun and festive greeting card. I've been taking my markers and stamps with me when we go camping and I'm able to get some coloring done in the morning when I'm up before everyone else or in the evening when it's relaxing tv time. For this card I have several holiday images.

When I'm ready to create with the images I simply find coordinating papers to layer them on. These papers are not even Christmas but I think the work perfectly.

Creating scene cards is pretty new for me but I think I'm getting the hang of it. These little friends are having a skating party.

The flower in this arrangement is made by me and is finished off with some dimensional stamens. There's also a pretty bow created with wrinkle ribbon to fill in the display.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G
