Floral Pocket Mini

Today I wanted to share with you all a Pocket Mini I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I started with the 2 pages I will be showing here, and will be adding 2 more over the next couple of weeks.

So far I've used Tons of Really Reasonable Ribbon, and LOVE all the assortments I've chosen for this mini. I will list them here-
Really Reasonable Ribbons Used:
Silver Glitz Ribbon'

My mom cut these pocket pages out for me with her machine, and the tags. I've had them for awhile now, and just thought I should work on them. I am enjoying decorating them will all the ribbons ,laces, trims, and such.  I also used buttons that Bonnie carries at the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop. I Love Buttons!!!

I left room on the tags for photo's and then writing on the back. I think I will add another sentiment tag on the grey dp where there is no sentiment right now.

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Shabby Chic Calendar

Every year I like to create a calendar . This time I created one with shabby chic style. Pretty vintage images layered over French post cards. The tabbed dividers will make it super easy to flip through and pockets on each page hold tags to jot down important dates. The Juliet Natural Crochet lace trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon matches the vintage style perfectly : )
Hopefully this will inspire you to create a calendar that that you really love...after all...you'll be using it all year : )
Thanks for checking out my project...I hope you all enjoy a happy and productive day and find some time to be creative.

Using Old Stash in 2013

Misty Here with you all on this FOURTH day of January 2013!
It is still difficult to believe that 2012 is over and done with!
However, I greeted 2013 with open arms and I hope to make it a
 fantabulously AWESOME~TACULAR Year!

This year, I didn't make any resoultions, I don't usually anyway.  What I did do, though, is make myself a few goals.  One of those goals is to
 >>>USE my STASH<<<
I will be digging into my large stash of goodies that I HAD to have, but have not yet been able to use.  All that stuff that I bought, won, or was gifted that sits unloved, and unused...I will be using this year.
I have been able to play these last couple of days...and I have a couple of layouts that I want to share.

This first one is using My Mind's Eye.  Mostly So Sophie and Lost and Found collections.
Two of my FAVORITE collections from MME EVAH!
Had to have...never used! LOL
This is my youngest munchkin with Santa.
Here is Joy to the World:
For this layout, I used the Musical Notes on Cotton Ribbon.  I have to say...this is probably on of my absolute favorite ribbons that I have EVER gotten. I also hung the ornaments in the top right corner from some bakers twine.

This second layout is using the Crate Paper Toy Box Collection.
Yes...another one of those collections I HAD TO HAVE and never used!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this layout came out though!
This is my 3 boys all pointing their Nerf guns straight at ME!!!
Yes, I staged the photo for scrappy purposes, but this REALLY HAPPENED!
We were having Nerf Wars with the Nerf guns they all got for Christmas last year and they all ganged up on Mom!  I was on the ground laughing, and when I looked up...this is what I saw...FOR REAL!!!  lol
Here is I NEED A HERO:
This layout features my favorite masculine embellishment...Hemp. Bonnie has the best assortment of hemps in the RRR store.  A huge variety of colors!

I have had so much fun digging into old stash!
I was excited when I found some of my favorites that I forgot that I had!
What goals did you set this year?
Any scrappy goals?
Share them with us...We'd love to hear!

Cozy Winter creating..

Good morning my RRR friends! We are breaking in the New Year quietly. We have had ALOT of snow. Luckily the sun has come out...but the temps are still frigid, like 10 below frigid. Good for me ...this is good snuggle up, keep your jammies on weather. Perfect for creating. I have two projects, quite different, but in the same color hues. I was in the pink mood...and just kept going with it.
My first project is one I put a lot of heart into (no pun intended). I love to go on the hunt for unique items to use on my altered art. Things other than scrapbooking related items, etc. I found that little deep shadowbox frame while on my travels and knew I would put it to good use. I painted it Ballerina Pink and gave it a coating of pink glitter. I nestled a little 3d pink heart and some dresdan wings inside. I added a little banner, other little bits and bobs...like pink safety pins with buttons, and lots and lots of baby pink and rose seam bindings . Love to combine those two shades of pink together. I layered the smaller heart onto a bigger one for depth and added a Maya Road crystal style pendant to the bottom. My other little project is just one that told ME it had to be created. You ever get that feeling? Something just pops out at you and it comes together by itself pretty much. I love that sweet image of the children..I thought my sentiment fit it perfectly. I used some new PTI goodies . I had so much fun stamping this card and again added my seam bindings for the perfect touch. That is it for me today.  Thanks for letting me share!   Hugs, cherry

Robots Make Me Smile

Yep. They do. Not sure why. Maybe it's remembering "Lost in Space" and Dr. Smith. I loved that robot! So when I saw this new set from The {Stamps} of Life, I knew it would be fun to make cards and tags with.

Doesn't that just make you smile? My "little" boy is 24 years old now, but I would still send this to him, or to another friend.

My ribbon is Tangerine Double-Face Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love this color! I think it really makes everything pop! A button with some twine, and it's ready to go!
There are so many yummy colors of this ribbon in the RRR Store. Check them out!

Stamps: robots2build2 by The {Stamps} of Life

It would be a great help to us if you would consider turning off your word verification if it's active on your blog. To do this is really easy and all you need to do is go to Customise > Settings > Comments > then scroll down to where it says comment moderation and select always (this won't stop anybody leaving you a comment but they won't show on your blog till you approve them). Then scroll down to show word verification for comments? and select No.
We love to visit your blogs and leave comments on all the terrific entries, but the word verification really slows us down. :o)
